I don’t think Alexi fully realizes how iconic the Beercan is when he says he doesn’t see value in making it a road car. As a foreigner, when I think of the classic 'Ebisu vacation,' the OG image is Alexi in the Beercan. This car has so much character-GTR parts, the light bar, even the stickers-all from the pre-'youtubers buy Chasers and drive Matsuri as cheaply as possible' era. It’s a piece of history that deserves love and care.
Honestly, even with what these things are worth right now, It's a moneypit to get it to pass any technical inspection. Japan is one of the countries that is actually relatively strict. In my country, cars fail the tech inspection just for headlight alignment being off by a hair. Let alone a dented heap like this with all kinds of non street legal mods. I like that it's a skyline that's not restored and just rough and ready like the before times. I'd love to see it get some love, but it belongs on the track.
@Charlie-Charlot your not alone, we all have been waiting for this godly machine to make its appearance since it was taken to the shop where it was supposedly going to be "worked with". And in a proper NORIYARO style, it had basically nothing done to it. Thats why we love the guy, Alexi, and thats why we love the beercan
i dont think alexi realizes how much that car impacted lives. im living right here in Japan now. where did my japanese car and tuning obession really take off? With the beercan Skyline over 10 years ago. its an icon for so many of us.
I say make it a "Resurrection" Reveal at a R32 event this year. Do as much as possible to make it run/look good. Make a display board about the car & have a small TV/Laptop showing past footage of the beercan. Even if it's a display car, just go to the event and make content with the other cars & drifting/ racing.
Damn. When I first saw this R32 I was still building my 200SX and now when I see it I'm already a father. Time flies as hell. If you would like to run it on a circuit it could be fun, but if you were to made into a SL car to "retire" it from abuse I would also appreciate it. It survived through so much and became such a legendary missile it deserves some love and care at this point. By all means and purposes it signifies that cool old era (it's not that old of course, but it's been 10+ years already) that is long gone. This R32 was the window into an actual Japanese drifting for us gaikokujins.
Mate, I think your car is a gold mine. The car was in a good state when you got it. You and the car both have had your fun and not so fun times, if the paperwork is still good the car I think really deserves a restoration. Its a car with history to you and so many people, and giving it another chance at life as a fun car to take out would be amazing. Maybe make it into a series? Take it back to where you had bought it, take it out to meets, go to a grip event with it maybe. SO much fun is still to be had with it, and its saddening to see it in this awful condition. That or fix it up a little and make its a really good looking drift missle so you can go through the destruction process again ;D. It would be a cool series for all the restorations you did to it (and maybe if youre up for it the cost at the end). I would really love to follow along on the progress whatever you decide. Ultimately you should do with whatever makes you happiest, it is your car after all :D
Childhood hero. Did rallying snow drifting and every drift event without breaking a sweat, it was the car that got me interested in drifting, glad to have it back.👌
You're video style hasn't changed for a while and It makes me feel like drifting isn't as cool as it actually is. In a good way. Very ''I'm going this because I genuinely love everything about it'' vibe. GOATED
This car and your videos is what got me into an S13 7 years ago… I googled “best beginner drift cars” after seeing your Ebisu video. I also got inspired by the way the car had a theme to it which made me theme mine too 💛
Alexi i am just so thankful for your content and i think you deserve every little bit of what you achieved so far. Thanks for bringing back the beercan skyline. Its the car that made me fall in love with old rwd cars and drifting in general. I still remember how i found your channel about 6 years ago and got absolutly struck by it. For me, as a long time viewer, i wish to see it back at ebisu, thrashing just the way it did before. Thanks for everything Alexi.
My friend and I were at the 2019 spring matsuri and it was awesome watching the car being thrashed and giving fans ride alongs, and putting our own sticker on the back window of course haha. I feel like the beer can's spirit belongs at Ebisu making everyone smile. I'd love to see it get serviced, make it driveable and just keep sending it how it always was. Thanks for all the laughs and entertainment over all the years!
Please keep the old school drift missile thrashed appearance, it has earned these dents and scratches. Really fits the underdog theme that I think everyone fell in love with.
This car is literally possibly the most legendary drift r32 of the 2010s and seeing it again gives me such a nostalgic feelings I’m so excited it’s back and also the s15 going places too!!! Congrats
I've never seen brake fluid that looks like swamp water... I'm impressed the engine started right up, though! Can't believe the car was out of service since before that whole virus debacle, it all went by so fast... Edit: A noriyarō booth at Tokyo Auto Salon is crazy! Would love to see a video of that
Damn. I remember religiously following your blog back in college and loving this thing, so much so that i bought one 😂😂 Always enjoy the videos Alexi, good to see this thing back in the mix and cant wait for its updates!
Hey Alexi, I want to really take time to thank you for the videos that you make. They always help me relax when I really need to. Today, for example, this video hits perfectly since I am in a really low point in life. Thank you for making me feel better with these videos
Am I the only one feeling proud about Alexi for his car being at the Autosalon and having his own booth as well. Man, I'm proud of you Alexi. Well earned.
Dude ,amazing , love to see some love put into it , march seems doable , hell id love to help but im in a 12 hour different timezone, that said , id bet people will be willing to get this thing running as its one of the most famous cars in late YT history ( at least to me)
man i'm happy for you alexi, been here since that missile video, also kinda sad because beercan is like the 7th wonder when you go to japan as a car guy, seeing the car sit there in ebisu is unreal in a person, knowing the history of it is like seeing a Dinosaur fossils in a good way.
WHAT A VIDEO. This just made my day.. so many good news. The fact that nothing happened on the r32 was funny, thanks to that we might get many more videos on the beercan revival!!
I remember this car from when you had just bought it and you showed it in a small article in a JDM car magazine from the UK.. Back then I didn't know who Noriyaro, was but I've been watching since almost the Noriyaro Raw Drift videos now.
The unthinkable! Alexi starting to realize how awesome this car is! To a lot of people, the mental image of Ebisu matsuri, IS the Beercan. Biggest issue is just that Suenaga's missile shoots away from your missile like a rocket, so it could do with better over-all suspension set-up. If you ask me the brake rotors look fine, just knock the rust off with abrasive disc and kick the lips off with flap disc. New pads & caliper service, et voila. You bought it for a purpose, cheap seat time, and it can still serve that purpose without breaking the bank. Nobody asking for a total re-design & re-engineer.
mate this car has had no love for about 10 years. is it too much to ask for some new flipping brake rotors?? all the shocks look done as well, it needs a whole lot of new parts then will be good for next 5-10 years of missile duty
You need a couple of apprentices serving their time there, learning the love, the lore and the technique of drift missiles. God knows you have enough work for them, and sure to make more. Good stuff Alexi, great to see you doing well.
that video where you look at beercan skyline parked for idk how much time, all fuc** up and say's "Look's alright" will for ever be in my mind, hahaha, love that car
I NEVER CLICKED SO DAMN FAST IN MY ENTIRE LIFE WHOOOOOO the beer can , the ol lady mistreated, god please do make it great that car deserves to live on forever
I can't believe it's been 5 years, hahaha. Look at all of us now, still nerds looking for videos of the same car every week. Can't wait to see the S15!
I’m so stoked to see the R32 get some love again. I think it has become iconic with that livery and madman behind the wheel. I personally would like to see it somewhat restored with a face back on, but maybe leave some battle scars on her.
New Turbo, get a new front bumper for it, DIY hood and roof point job, and send it. So good to see the beer can back, feels like 5 months rather than 5 years... I think that's a sign we're getting old..
Here's an idea: make it look as stock as possible (as if you took it out of the dealer), and just refresh the engine with new parts and the lot. Then do a complete rework on the brakes and three suspension and take it out there.
those 5 years went by so quick
Tell me about it...
Indeed
Quickest 5 years i ever saw
Deep down it still feels like im in 2019 and never moved forward
crazy to think I was in sixth grade that time and next year is my last year of school
"good news for the Silvia"
YAAAAAY
"it's in a paint shop"
oh no...
I know that reference 😂
*plsno*
Let's not repeat the "full carbon" conversion.
"Don't you put that evil on me, Ricky Bobby!"
-The S15, probably
I thought the same thing.

Agree 100%
Absolute CINEMA. THE BEERCAN PIANO MUSIC IS BACK.
never mind the car, the music is what im here for
I really love the Idea that this car has its own theme as if it was a character and not just a vehicle
@Charlie-Charlot your not alone, we all have been waiting for this godly machine to make its appearance since it was taken to the shop where it was supposedly going to be "worked with". THERE IT IS, THE CHRISTMAS MIRACLE!!
Missed opportunity to say "see you next year" 😀
It desires to rust away and return to the earth from whence it came. But your destiny has not yet been fulfilled, Beercan Skyline.
It’s like one of those fantasy skeletal armies. “Why do you disturb my slumber”💀
@@noriyaroWould you ever sell it?
@@VenomRoadRacing I hope he doesn't.
@@VenomRoadRacing If he ever does, it better end up in a museum

Im all for sorting it mechanically but keep the look and the history. This car is a legend
Alexi: Beercan Skyline's back!
Me: Everyone liked that.
Everyone: we liked that
its good to see the old girl back, also congrats on the tokyo auto salon booth!
The beercan was my first introduction to you drifting on youtube. I'm so excited to see it back, and hopefully you thrashing it again soonish 😂
When next beercan video
GUYS! DAD HAS THE BEERCAN BACK AT THE SHOP!!! AHHHHHHH!!!!!!!
You know the (sepetine) belt is not far away, when Dad is on the beer again 😢

Cannot wait for this thing to receive the much needed love and hitting circuits after some proper maintenance and polishing.

All those wheel spacers is like setting your beer can on top of 5 coasters
The video where he put that light bar on still rings fresh in my memory
Jeremy Clarkson voice "WE'RE BACK!"
I've missed that music, both the old RB20 and the piano
Looking forward to seeing you and the Beercan at TAS
S15 in TAS

@ mines Gudetama themed 😅
the livery is too iconic to be changed, regardless of what route you go no one will complain as long as the car sees the track again
I agree. Super Drift livery is freaking iconic.
I've been here since the start, I believe you have other awesome drift cars and this one deserve restoration
This is the car that got me into drifting, finally after all these years im on the track myself with my fc! So good to see the beercan back
Alexi i am just so thankful for your content and i think you deserve every little bit of what you achieved so far. Thanks for bringing back the beercan skyline. Beercan is best can. Give that legend all the love it deserves!
So hyped to see you putting hands on the beercan again! Makes me want to get my 13 going!
At this time, beercan skyline is as legendary as whole FNF franchise, glad I'm happy to see this car again
Ohhh yeah!! Seeing that it's getting worked on is a dream come true, can't wait to see the next steps!
best Christmas present we could have gotten, thank you Alexi
It's finally back 😭😭 Its been so long, and yet 5 years ago felt so recent. I almost teared up, ngl.

I’m not a long time subscriber like many people but wow watching Alex drift the skyline specially the mountain Was so good
Absolutely unreal it's been 5 years, happy to see it back Alexi!
The very first 5 seconds hit HARD! So nostalgic.... fixing brakes at Ebisu ! Feels good /Edit: the Outro was beautiful!
I love how the beercan is not-so-low-key a dream car for most of his audience and it’s his beater.
the outro clips gave me goosebumps 😭😭 welcome back beercan
that video where you look at beercan skyline parked for idk how much time, all fuc** up and say's "Look's alright" will for ever be in my mind, hahaha, love that car
I NEVER CLICKED SO DAMN FAST IN MY ENTIRE LIFE WHOOOOOO the beer can , the ol lady mistreated, god please do make it great that car deserves to live on forever
I was just re-watching old Skyline vids back when it was a icon, I dont care what happens im just glad its back!
I never thought I'd see her again! May the Beercan live on to see another drift day!
I was having a pretty crummy morning and seeing this in my home page helped 👍
The biggest comeback in history EVER! Nothing can comes close to this!
Alexi this is possibly the main reason I followed all those years ago. So happy to see it again ❤❤❤
Beercan survived for this long, it certainly deserves good treatment.
Damn time flies, 5 years is crazy
Great to see its still around 👍
The legend is back
I can't believe it's been 5 years, hahaha. Look at all of us now, still nerds looking for videos of the same car every week. Can't wait to see the S15!
I've been watching Noriyaro for like 7 years and this is the first time I've seen you work on a car
(just joking, keep it up. enjoyed this video)
BEEERRRRRCANNNNNN!!!! Oh man. The Beercan light bar was my first Noriyaro video I saw, been here since. ❤
New Noriyaro video with the beercan skyline its a Christmas miracle
I’m so stoked to see the R32 get some love again. I think it has become iconic with that livery and madman behind the wheel. I personally would like to see it somewhat restored with a face back on, but maybe leave some battle scars on her.
S15?. DON'T SAY PAINT SHOP! DON'T SAY PAINT SHOP! DON'T SAY PAINT SHOP!
And its sooooo good to see the bear can back mate. Such nostalgia.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO 5 years really did fly by, this is the car that pushed me to get an r32 in the states, so happy to see it back!
Holy shit, this just what I need to keep my spirits up for tomorrow
New Turbo, get a new front bumper for it, DIY hood and roof point job, and send it. So good to see the beer can back, feels like 5 months rather than 5 years... I think that's a sign we're getting old..
"The Bearcan is BACK!" :D
"It's on jack stands.." 😢
Here's an idea: make it look as stock as possible (as if you took it out of the dealer), and just refresh the engine with new parts and the lot. Then do a complete rework on the brakes and three suspension and take it out there.
Never liked something so fast! And the perfect music!
Be super cool to see this road registered again, especially with how scarce they've become
W video 👌
Lesgo Asahi- I mean Alexi R32 is back and can't wait for the new look of the S15
