This also works really well in an iron skillet in the oven. I make pizza every Saturday with pretty much the same dough recipe as Mr. Rollins, the only difference is that I let the dough rise for around two hours over a warm toaster oven. It works great.
I add fine ground corn flour to the dough and skip the corn meal on the bottom. I go 1/4 up to 1/3 ratio . Sunday nights for me.

My local butcher has shaved steak for Philly cheese steaks and it works AMAZING on pizza! God Bless! You'd think that game meat along the way would be plentiful as well as those few beef cows that croaked along the way.

I use charcoal tablets whenever I have any tummy problems. It works like a charm. I actually use it for more than tummy problems. It is great as a wound healer too. Seen some mighty impressive wounds on horses healed by using it.

Never thought of making pizza in a Dutch oven, but I'll give it a try. I loved the burnt bottom, reminds me of New York style wood-fired oven baked pizza. 👍🍕😋✨🔥💥
I have been making pizza in a Dutch for years but had not thought of adding the spices to the dough, and looking forward to trying the cream cheese trick. Cooking in a Dutch is great as well as a lot of fun. On our river trips we will often have 6 or more Dutch ovens going for single dinner that includes fresh bread and dessert.

I’ve been doing this all Pandemic. I fit the shape of the dough to a cookie sheet and oil both sides of the crust before putting it in the oven, make it as thin as possible for thin crust. Cook the crust most of the way first, then cook it again with the sauce & toppings on at 400.

Yum. I love it! We make homemade pizza on our grill every Saturday night. I say we, but it's me really. I take forever doing it because I caramelized onions and saute mushrooms as the first ingredients to top the pizza. My family loves pizza night!

My Dad was a Navy cook on a destroyer in WWII. His Dad (my grandfather) came from Italy at age 14. Italian cooking runs through the family (I know, Pizza was not an exclusively Italian dish). So seeing you make this is the best! This Saturday night, the family gets this! Thank you!
I use large Naan Bread instead of messing up my pizza dough. I used all the items as mentioned by Kent. The addition of the melted cream cheese was such a great addition to the pizza.
I used to work two jobs and had no time to cook but I got sick of take out. I came up with this hack where I would make pizza using a wrap as the base and cook it on my George Foreman grill. Decent results for the little effort required.
Great recipe Kent ! I remember as a kid, pizza was a rare treat! Mom would make a chef boyardee box pizza with crust mixed with water, a can of pizza sauce, and a packet of powder cheese!!! We thought we were really living!!!! Your recipe looks a little better! 🤗
Extra ground beef on mine and my brother's Chef Boyardee pizza and mushrooms and green olives on my parents'. I think they really didn't like either topping but it was a way to not to have to share theirs. : ) But we did consider it quite fancy.
Oh, my, yes! I do remember the Chef Boyardee pizza kit. My mother always added ground beef sautéed with diced onion and bell peppers. Sometimes she’d add a little can of sliced mushrooms, then she’d grate a block of mozzarella, and lastly add the ‘powdered cheese’ that came with the kit. We thought that pizza was mighty fine!
Oh those memories came flooding back after your pizza in a box memory!!
I remember those homemade boxed boyardee pizzas. Yup we thought we were really living alright,now we wouldn’t eat them. They were kinda nasty compared to this work of art.

Well. I can't make my own pizza dough. But my wife and I bought boboli pizza crust and put our own fixins on it and pit it on the grill. Omg I will never cook pizza in the oven again. Kent you are the master Dutch oven cook. I wish I could send you pics of my creations

That’s a nice looking pizza. One of my favorite things to eat. I do prefer to make my own but if I go out and get one Whole Foods has the best out here. I have taken charcoal. Works. Great crust recipe. I’m looking for a carbless recipe. 🐸🍺🔪🔥

I've been watching homemade pizza videos for a couple of years now and your pizza definitely takes the cake. Wish I could have a bite of that.
Everything about this, until the veggies are added, was great.
For me, a meat lovers pizza excludes veggies. I like mushrooms, but those aren't veggies.
And exclude the crust.. I make a carnivore Crust for my pizza and I do not miss the carbs and dough taste at all! There are recipes out there for it but I put mine on my About tab and several people have made it and said they prefer it now...

It may be hidden cuz I used the word car niv ore but I have a recipe on my about table to make a meat crust if you are interested in that. No carbs and no dough taste but others have tried it and would rather use it now... carbs leave me hungry, lethargic, and mind clouded so I have done what I can to get rid of them from my diet.
