You certainly can, it’s not removable if you don’t like it. Also requires more painting skill. If you screw up plastidip you just remove and start over. If you are messy and spray a fender on accident, it comes right off.
@@TeslaTipsTrips I agree that PlastiDip is not a long term solution. It looks good when you first do it, but after about a year, it starts looking grungy. It's also quite difficult to remove when you need to.
Well it's rubber paint. You could also hit a rock on the way out of the wheel powder coating place and now it's lasted 5 minutes. Or deliver a brand new Tesla and get a rock chip on the way home, so that finish didn't hold up either. But, yeah it's just rubber paint.
im considering to plasti dip my wheels to prevent them from getting rock chips ... youll get them with or without the dip. I agree on it looking cheap tho unfortunately. prob just gonna get my wheels refinished after a few years.
I have not yet had to change a tire, but I assumed that wheel cover is removable. Why did you have to wrap your brakes, etc.?

I plastidipped them myself, it's really easy, just takes all day to wait for coats to dry. I did 10 total coats. Thanks for watching!

Any finish that is so damaged after 1 year is not acceptable to me. Thanks for showing the reality.
