You can tell when someone is being too fake and too dramatic... and on top of that she's like I had too many drinks and i was trying to get into my car...
Five drinks maybe more? But your Honor I was in my car trying to drive away.... after 5 drinks...or more. Did I miss something 5 drinks and she is driving ?..LOL
@@wristdisabledwriter2893 how would it have been a felony DUI? She didn't get in a wreck and injure herself or anyone else. That's the only way a DUI can turn into a felony charge, well at least here in the state of California anyway, or if you're a multiple offender!
@@wristdisabledwriter2893 I can't believe it took me until reading this comment to put together that maybe the "attack" was her friend physically trying to prevent her from driving under the influence and going a bit overboard with it because she probably also had a few drinks.
I just love the way certain individuals seem to hear the opposite of what the judge said, he tries to help but the defendant shakes there head or rolls the eyes
it's such a shame: honest people who make one little mistake have to fear for their whole career while criminals doing much worse stuff don't have any problem with one more conviction on their resume.
I can't help but think that her friend 'attacking' her was actually trying to prevent her from driving the car after having way too many drinks. Her friend likely saved her liberty and someone else's life that night. One hopes she will eventually understand that and what really makes a good friend.
Some of these repeat offenders have appeared so many times I recognise their faces and remember their names...this lady could have her own spin-off series!!
I'm from Germany and I don't know much about trials in the US (in Germany it works really differently). Can someone explain to me, what they were talking about in the last clip? What means nolo and what is "getting that expunged"?
Caracal I think it is “nolo contendere”. I means that the defendant does not admit to guilt but will accept punishment anyway. Sounds crazy, right? It is not often used. Expunged means that the sentence is essentially erased. The conviction is overturned as if it never happened. I think that’s right. Not being a lawyer, it is my best guess! Hope it helps.
"nolo" is no contest. It is like a guilty plea. Time served means she did her time for the crime. One month later she could expunge the conviction from her record. Meaning, in the eyes of her employer or future employers she can say that never happen and employer when doing a background check won't see the conviction. But in the eyes of the law, when there is a criminal offense against her, the state can dig up her expunged conviction as part of discovery.
I'll give that n***** 4 months in ACI regardless of illegal defense or Carney's ability to to defend somebody who's obviously f****** guilty beyond reasonable doubt and I don't feel that the defendant that was a genuine enough to the judge plus court cost and make her lose her license to be a home healthcare nurse and I would also put a mark on her record where she can never be a nurse ever again ever
Frank R. Pilot nah, she threw a fit, was given a chance, decided to keep at it and has the audacity to blame others for her own situation. Her friend walked away, why didn’t she? To top it all off she was trying to lie with body language in court and cry to try and get away with it all. Scumbag Susie imo.
The best judge ever, love to sit and have a meal with him just to visit with. He's the most kind HEARTED person ever. Thanks to his parents.
Bring some clothes pins he has IBS

She had a lot of drinks, and she was trying to drive away. Drinking and driving. Dang, what a shame.
