When I was driving in the US as a tourist from Germany, I was very afraid of getting stopped for speeding or the like. I must admit, Judge Caprio is the most generous and fair judge I ever saw on TV. I like his human approach and the respect for the people. It is a pleasure watching him. And what I found on Wikipedia about the person Judge Caprio only substantiates what I thought from the beginning. You have my deepest respect, I wish you all the best, Your Honor. The box truck argument was spot on! Judge had it totally wrong. How could he not tell the difference in his vantage point, the camera being high up on a pole, and her vantage point, four feet off the ground?
I think she could of seen it she wasn't over the line by the time her view was clear. She even admitted she could see it but wouldn't be safe to stop in the intersection but if your in the intersection your past the view of the light.

I received a parking ticket 2 years ago in a confusing construction zone... long story short... the Judge in my case was absolutely just and fair... and engaging... Just as seen here! Reduced my fine from $140 to $25... Which was very fair... Brings up the point the judicial system can be and is fair and human! @@mattroy7326 In my case it was the weather. My parents hated the snow and the weather, and finally decided to go somewhere where they didn't have to deal with that kind of stuff.
As for the lady at the end, that tried to explain that she couldn't see the light because the truck was blocking it...I've had that happen to me as well, the truck just blocks your view of the light bar and you would need a few extra car lengths of spacing to clear the view due to the truck being so tall. Glad she didn't have to payout even if the judge didn't get it.
Yes, I don't know what his problem was. He seemed unable to imagine the view from down in the car behind the tall truck as compared with the camea WHICH WAS HIGHER THAN THE TRUCK AND TO THE SIDE!!!!
This judge some how reflects who God is..fair judgement and even identifying with those with challenges and personal issues. God bless you and ur crew sir!
It's amazing how no traffic violation seems to ever be the motorist's fault. If you allegedly can't see the color of the traffic light because there is a large truck in front of you then it's your duty as a responsible, safe motorist to slow down, get some distance on the obstruction in front, and then determine the color of the traffic signal before just blindly following behind.

Why does the person facing the judge at 10.25 min behave like this? He is very angry, rude, clumsy and arrogant! Yet he is fortunate to be facing an extraordinary judge. Needless to mention the innumerable qualities of this one. He has the right to defend himself and to put forward his arguments, but his behavior is not acceptable. The lady at the 20:50 mark is sorta right. To be fair she was sorta far back and should be able to see over such the truck. However, I've had this happen many times with the larger 18 wheelers in my town where I couldn't see a thing. Other than that awesome video as always!
I can happen of course but if you drive behind a truck who is obstructing your view, I think that you can prevent an accident (or running a red light in this case) by reducing the speed and increase the distance between the vehicles. Is a preventive measure. When you are on a motorbike, unless someone you are suicidal, you must take such preventive measures to increase your safety.
She is telling the truth, but she is still wrong. A driver is responsible for driving a vehicle in a safe way, and that includes maintaining proper distance.
If you cannot see when you are behind a lorry, drop back so you can. The other thing is traffic lights have a habit of changing colour, so be ready for it.
To the tribal guy “You can take a ride to Washington DC to appeal to the Supreme Court” I couldn’t stop laughing 😂 Judge Francesco Caprio has his reserved line to heaven.
It's tricky, it's not always even clear you are going through a light if you aren't familiar with an area. Some trucks are huge and some cars are very low off the ground.
I understood exactly what she was saying, the Judge did not. His camera was mounted high looking down on the light.... she was behind the truck (lower) and the truck was blocking her view of the light until the last minute. I actually had an accident because of this same issue years ago and I was not given a ticket for it.
I've been in that position behind a truck and received a RL citation. I paid it but I don't believe I should have. Creating a gap that allows the truck 1/10 mile so one can see signs and lights isn't always an option. Sometimes, you find yourself wedged between two trucks in traffic from light to light -- are you going to push traffic back? In any case, this only happens when the truck in front barely makes the light leaving the car in this situation.
Hi I love 💕 you’re videos today this judge is a fantastic person we could do with the judge being over in England running the country he has more sense than the MP over here.
I agree with Michael Lee that a box truck can block your view. But I am in LOVE with the Honorable Frank Caprio, what a nice person with a heart of gold.
I've been watching quite some cases and a few tough ones, too. I believe Judge Caprio is doing excellent even in tough cases, where he must decide over one's head no matter what. Here where I am, you can't trust anybody and in the least place, really, the Justice. In Italy, if you ever get convicted, you are lost, unless you know the law better than the lawyers and, be also an excellent talker because you can turn the case into a rightful case. What I want to say is, that if you cannot defend yourself, you are doomed, because law enforcement is not worthy any more. Italian and Roman law were the best in the world, but now they are at the worst.
This is one I believe. actually. I live In Alabama and even here with the few red lights we have I refuse to be behind tall trucks during the day like this. It's extremely difficult to see the lights. Usually the trucks block your view until after they pass through the light.
There’s all kinds of claims of sovereignty by citizens of our country and therefore they think they’re not subject to our laws. They try this on everything, not just traffic court.
Meanwhile i crossed the redlight once while not paying attention ans i realised it WHILE CROSSING and then i changed my direction to the police department so i can get this done with and the head of the police department was impressed enough to invite me for coffee and a light meal in his office. I'm sure the trust is paying for it, relations with the state police/government have been in the toilet since a few ago when the governor ordered a police raid on a reservation smoke shop and a few tribe members got beaten up.
What I don't understand is how can jurisdiction not apply? The violation happens in the city, not a reservation. This is like a tourist committing a crime and then says that they want to be tried in their home country.
It was locker room lawyering. The guy was hoping the judge would agree with him and set a precedence for court cases that are more serious in the future. The judge quickly saw it for what it was, so quickly said ´I am not setting a precedence here, do your appeal´.. Not to get all political, but it is the reason Trump is so hell bent on getting that 90 day travel ban against muslims. They don´t actually care about the 90 day ban, what they care about is the precedence it sets so that in the future they can do something much bigger and use this case as precedence. Things like abortion, tribal rights etc are rarely won or lost with a big court case, instead they are won by creating small precedence that build on each other. But there is no way a judge is going to set such far reaching issues as tribal rights over an $85 traffic ticket.

It was so annoying that they were making fun of that lady that claimed the box truck was in her way, because even if she was just using that as an excuse, i would think that anyone their age would have driven enough to know that that happens all the time.
Sorry Judge. Everybody does not need a college education. We need plumbers and welders.
I wish we had cameras on our traffic lights here in England, there are so many vehicles going through red lights.
did anyone else get confused by the tribal trust guy? Can anyone explain to me what that was supposed to be about?
Look up 'sovereign citizen' on Wikipedia.
In live in California, I watch your show on UTUBE.
You should be in our US SUPREME COURT ***
I support the judge for a Presidential run,as soon as is HUMANLY possible....don't care WHICH party he belongs to !!!
So in Rhode island you don't have to make a complete stop before turning right on red?

I’m argumentative..... PAY THE COURT !!! Lol
We need the like of Judge Caprio in this World. Oh wait we need to be like him. 🙏🙏🙏

This court needs some software that can play video frame by frame.
If i were close, I would get a little ticket to see Judge Caprio. lol He's awesome!
The Tribal Trust guy pisses the hell out of me.
Sometimes I get the feeling not everybody is that grateful, some expect?
Is the „Grandson-Brandon-Mystery resolved already?
