- Top ten windy landings filmed during a 6.5hrs spotting session on 7th April 2022. 🛬 The wind was nearly a headwind on this day, but with gusts up to 41 knots (47mph) recorded it was still a difficult day to land here at Bristol airport, with the pilots battling against the gusts and windshear on final approach. 👏 As always, excellent professionalism and flying skills on show. 😀 Which was your favourite windy landing? These past few months have been very hectic for BRS seeming as there have been many storms and occasions with very high winds and you're doing a very good job of filming and putting it all together for us to enjoy

Superb set of landings...well captured...I thought the Alicante flight looked the most "entertaining", not for those on board I imagine lots of stomachs lurching on that final twist before touchdown 😲
