now i don't regret getting the STI , i started with 2017 wrx kept for a year got a 2019 wrx i was still not happy a month ago i decided to get the 2020 STI. MAN i love it those neon green Brembo's are so eye catching. cant wait to throw some tunes on it.

The thing that put the cherry on top was that I couldnt pass smog. I had three monitors that wouldnt want to set. It was just a headache, so I traded it in. I definitely will be going back to e85 once my warranty is done.

You’re suppose to use that accessport for that intake before you even go get it tuned. Ur maf has no idea what’s going on with all that extra air coming in. How I blew my stock 13 sti first drive home cause previous owner didn’t tune it. Over boosted & ran lean

Let me save you some money for when you decide to go stage 2 .... get some 1050x id injectors, downpipe, and and flex fuel kit all in one shot and you'll thank me later. Lol I always enjoy your vids man
redlinegsxr1 I'm sure you can. I'm not 100% sure when the injectors would max out in the wrx as opposed to the sti. For instance you can't get the full potential of stage 2 in the 15+ sti without upgrading the fuel system. It may be different with the wrx though, I'm sure any quality shop you be able to answer that if you call them and ask
Is this stock aside from intake and tune? I never hear my turbo but I always drive quiet and speed limit 😆 with low shifts. I only raced one time and that was the only time I pushed the car... q50 lost.
One mod I won’t be doing is the intake. I’ve read too much on it and it doesn’t sound like it’s needed or a good idea. Definitely going full exhaust though with ELH and catted downpipe (emissions)

How do You get a “pro tune” with out knowing what the power is? In Australia no one uses off the shelf tune ( we’ve only just started getting Cobb A/P but people use them to tune and read data) and the tunes we get are on a dyno so there is always a print out of torque and power
It’s not an OTS tune though. It’s a tune where ai had a tuner that does dyno tunes send me revisions until everything is perfect. The same exact process as a dyno tune minus the dyno and in person experience.

19 STI ETS Extreme catback, SF box/intake Shinji Tuned 325whp 368trq. Really depends on quality of your fuel, I use a no ethanol 93 since quality of ethanol and evaporation can degrade octane.

I don't challenge anyone to races. People usually try to challenge my stock genesis, and the ones who do end up losing. That was before I knew how to paddle shift. I had the car for nearly three years now, I think. 56,000 miles. It sucks right now not making money and having health issues. I would like to do POV videos, but no one wants to watch a stock vehicle. Everything seems hopeless now. Cool video.
Might I recommend learning to double-clutch first through 3rd? For me, with the WRX specifically, it lays down the power much smoother, you don't get that nasty clutch drive train bounce
I also just got a 2020 sti and running the stage 1+ ots map, how did you get right onto an e-tune right after installing the mods? I'm pretty new to all this and just wondering. Subbing for sure

@@jonathanguzman7294...why do different injectors matter with the addition of a downpipe? The bigger downpipe is just a larger opening/volume for burnt gasses to go. Why are bigger injectors necessary? The ecu cares about incoming air volume, adds fuel as necessary, and looks for the right stoicometric ratio and adjusts accordingly. A larger downpipe does not affect this ratio.
Be more confident in you’re self man, educate you’re self. I’m an auto tech in Canada & I still wonder some nights if I tightened that last bolt😂 ps I drive a 13 sti sport tech

@@liambarrer220 Yes me too but mine didn't blow but ran like crap as the ECU pulled it back constantly. Luckily tho. Now it's tuned it's great.

Don’t lol. Your car will run bad and check engine light. These cars are too sensitive to run without a tune and having mods minus a catback exhaust

You can just remove the silencer box in the intake and keep the stock intake on, it gives you all the spool sounds still

Granny shifting, not double clutching like he should, he's lucky that new tune didn't blow the welds off the intake manifold.

I barely have 100 miles on mine, I tell you……it’s so tempting to just do a couple pulls but naaaaaaahhh, I’m driving like a great grandma would.
Next up is that downpipe! And that is where the STi is going to feel like when the new 2021 STi comes out from the factory.
Remember can’t do intake and downpipe combo unless you have injectors
