I did mine couple months ago with mixed results. At certain speeds I love it, esp when driving hard. But at low speeds it does sound like a can and I hate it. Have you got the flap mod done too? And do you have a high flow air filter/induction kit?
Hi MadXed, indeed the flap mod has been done too. The air-intake is standard. I like the sound in general, especially when the engine is on temperature. It has got a nice bass-tone to it too. Without that, it could've been a canny sound. Only downside I find is the drone around 95-105 km/h, that's very boomy. Do you have an aftermarket air-intake? If so, which one?
@@milangijzen7210No air intake, mine's totoally standard apart from flap mod and res delete. Mine doesnt sound as good as yours and another I've heard. It has this harsh, canny sound on idle and below 2k rpm like its blowing, I really miss how it was below 2k before thr delete, seemed to have more Bass, but its nicer between 2-3k now. Too bad I spend most of my time below 2k lol

So your car is completely stock, apart from the flapper mod and res delete, as is mine. I'm very curious what could cause the difference. Maybe there's something not stock about my car that I don't know about. Within a few weeks I'm planning to fit a decat. I'll let my mechanic check if we can spot something that could cause the difference. If we do, I'll let you know.
MadXed Yes, I didn’t change it. There are also no signs of any modifications there done by a previous owner. I will keep you posted if we find out something that we didn’t knew about the exhaust set-up.
I don’t understand, I just removed mine too , the circular resonator just before the muffler, and it sounds like a can, like shit.. which one did you remove ?..
It’s my friends car, he said its the middle muffler. A very small one compared to other cars. Let me know if that enough info. Otherwise i will ask him.

Mathieu Boutin Yes i asked, that should be the one. From rear big muffler, follow the pipe untill it makes a small turn. After that there is the cylinder shaped muffler they removed.

Yes, just mid muffler removed and there is a sound valve that manually set to open.

That's what I'm wondering. I've got a switch but I don't want the droning. I assume the valve would help a lil. 1 exhaust droning rather than 2 lol
