Neither of my girls like boxes at all. I think it might stem from them being feral as kittens and they were outside all the time. I don't think they like boxes as they feel trapped.

Both our cats _love_ boxes! Moreover, they don't fight over one; they'll both just stay with the same one of there aren't two! And . . . I have to wait until they're occupied with something else in order to get rid of it or they'll start howling if they see me trying to take it!😸👍🏻

Just take any paper bag (remove any handles to be safe) or cardboard box; spray with a catnip concentrate or sprinkle some in. Practically free and endless fun!
With the amount of online shopping people are doing these days, coming across cardboard boxes is super easy!

Mine doesn't like to stay in a box,
He can feel CORNERED.... He is a rescue cat, so he is nervous about a couple things..... 1 more thing is you cant just reach over his head to pet
him, he may have been hit by the last ASSHOLE owner that had him...
Other than that, I SPOIL THE SHIT OUT OF HIM, AND HE SPOILS ME TOO!!!!

Cats are territorial and when u move house they need to b locked inside for approximately 2 weeks til they learn this is where they live now i had a friend who moved and her cat went back to the old house luckily her x neighbours let her know i don't know what happened to yr cat but id ask there if anyones seen it n check vets rspca pound if none of above something could have happened to it or someone took it good luck i hope u find yr cat

Maybe your cat went back to your old neighbourhood. I’ve read that they have the ability to do it and trace their way back to the place they call home. Worth a try to check your old neighbourhood.
