I really enjoyed watching your content, it felt like I was transported to Hike & Drive Fern Canyon in Redwood National Park! in Crescent City, CA. Thank you for sharing your adventures to such a beautiful place. 👍👍
Oh next week is the Mystic RV Park interview this place isn't fancy but we like the owner and it is quiet and secluded plus for us we found it centrally located they only have 3 spots just like the one we had so I would call ahead of time and ask for our spot if u want to try this location it is a great price otherwise we almost stayed at a place with a Ramblin name or the KOA in this area but we didn't need all the bells and whistles and we didn't want a lot of long drives. Not sure if you were heading to this area but I remember you asking. Next week's video will show the park a bit more it's very small and not fancy. If you end up with more questions don't hesitate.
Yes I was worried a bit and had to mention it but the hike turned out amazing and I am glad we went. Hope the travels have been going well for the two of you we love watching you on the road and hope one day we can join you! We are meeting Ken, Pam, Joel and Deb in September in Yellowstone and Grand Tetons. (Tempting at all ?) Safe Travels stay in touch!
Dont second guess it is the part of the adventure but you also may show up at a better time? Dont hesitate if you have any question but we dont regret it and we do recommend it! Thx for watching!
That looked like a tough drive with all those curves in the road, but you guys made it. Beautiful to see those Elk. Also, it looked like fun to just get your feet wet and walk in the water for a bit.
The Redwoods were so beautiful we had a wonderful visit. Thank you for joining us we appreciate your comments and the continued support you give our channel. The watch time is so appreciated!😊
Great video guys!!! We did highway 199 the opposite direction than you did. We went from Crescent City to Grants pass. It was it was crazy windy, but such a beautiful drive!! With we had done that fern hike as it looked amazing!! We also made it to SeaQuake Brewing. The beers were super good and so was the Mac & Cheese!!!
Can't wait to see your version of the area we almost cane back later in the afternoon with the puppies so we will be so sad when we see Gracie on the Gondola that's going to be fun to see. That was a fantastic brewery.
Great job capturing the area. Its been about 4 years since we were there and this brings back many great memories. We did not find the breweries - we will have to hit them next time. Those curds looked delicious!. We did check out fern canyon and i took a tumble and got wet, but fortunately i saved Dang's camera! I think my butt hurt for 2 weeks after... Looking forward to the next one and the interview! Stay safe!
Oh my goodness well I guess we did the right thing with just walking through the water. We appreciate you watching and as always making great comments!
Yes , Yes and YES!!! Thanks for Joining us we appreciate you Ramblin Around and the support you give us. I am loving your adventure and thinking of getting a smaller RV one day I would love to feel more comfortable to drive. Safe Travels!

Fabulous tour! Can you imagine being a lighthouse keeper there for 39 years, that's incredible. Your reviews of the places you dine and have beers are awesome. The information about the condition and size of the road out to Fern Canyon is important 😦😦Thank you for taking us to such beautiful places. 🌳🌳🌳😀😀👍👍
Thank you for always having some of the best comments and giving us such amazing support. I want to always keep things positive but that drive surprised me and I dont want anyone else surprised but it was worth it what a beautiful area. Always wonderful when you join us hope all is well up north!
There you go I'm here for the beer footage 😂. Nice big tree and a easy walk. Yeah we'll pass on that drive and just watch yall. That was good decision just walking through the water. Thanks for sharing. Have a good day.
Thanks so much it was one heck of a drive but the hike was beautiful and it was worth it. Yes I know Ron and I have discussed maybe one day doing shirts that say Ramblin for the beer? Love here for the beer we will have to make a point to say that for you! We appreciate your continued support and cant wait to see what your up to next! It will be a couple more years but hope to make it your way!

What a beautiful area! That road in was tough! I can’t believe people drove their cars in that road. Probably a smart choice to just walk through the water - you wouldn’t want to be swollen and pissed off. 😂. Great video friends! - Shelley (and Mike )
Hey guys yep just getting our fit wet was best and yes cars on that drive may have not known what they were doing and two areas have a creek to cross but it was worth it for us in a Jeep or maybe if your in a truck! Thx for joining us hope all is well!
"Whoo those curves were fun, weren't they fun honey? No. they were not." 🤣 The views!! beautiful! WOAH! that corvette! 🤩 Thank you for giving us the truth about that narrow road. Very interesting spot where Jurassic Park was filmed. Walking through the water made perfect sense. Beautiful area.- Your editing is excellent, we enjoy your videos so much!- Michelle 🤗
I eant to say the total was about 8 to 10 miles the first 6ish was paved but curves and narrow the last 2 was rhe pot holes and bumps. It was a very beautiful place I would just say it really should be a 4x4 . We appreciate you watching and always supporting us! 😊

Hey guys 👋 It definitely is a narrow curved road to Fern Canyon, but it is worth it, as you experienced. We just took off our shoes and walked in the water. The park service usually puts the plank boards out in May then remove them in October. Gold Beach is beautiful as well out there. Glad you saw the elk. Enjoyed the episode 😅 😁
Thank you so much for joining us we did love it and we would do it again and recommend it! Thanks so much for the comments and always giving us such great support!
The breweries looked nice & we would have like the first one better! But love that the second one out sources local! The cheese curds looked so so! 😂 That was a big tree!! Good thing you're on a Jeep for that road to the hike!! The hike looked gorgeous! Glad you didn't fall in and just walked through the water!! No reason to get hurt! Feel bad for that lady!
Yes they ended up slowly going back and we saw them later she twisted her ankle. This was a very beautiful area and it was best to just get wet. Thanks for watching cant wait to review breweries with you!
I'm in love with this forest routes... Both the road and the path look incredible on camera, but you're right, that road looks tough for regular cars.... I don't have a jeep, and the times I've had to drive on bumpy roads like that, it's been complicated. I don't want to know how that one would be.... But without a doubt, the best part is Jodi asking... 'Did you like the woods, honey? - No! They weren't fun at all, never again. 😂 (Love your honest reactions, thank you Ron) As always you did a great job with the edition and commentary. Big Like! 💙

We have got to get to California. Love lighthouses. The breweries were awesome. The one I’d like to see the guitar, and the other for the cheese curds. Love the trails with the gorgeous huge trees. There are pay phones all over Pennsylvania. The reception there is terrible. 😂😂.
I had the exact same experience. I should have chosen to get my feet wet but didn't have another pair of shoes to change in to! I actually stayed in the campground there and that was an amazing experience! I'm in a 4x4 van, not the place for a motorhome towing a vehicle!!!
LOL! Yes we would never take the motorhome that way but a nice 4x4 van would be amazing it was a very beautiful area loved that little hike through the canyon. Thanks so much for watching and commenting we appreciate your support. Hope we see you again Rambler!
