Unboxing videos are always fun, and even more so when its something as rare as this! Just look at the build quality! That thing is a tank! It almost makes it laughable how manufacturers these days boast about employing copper screws in their designs, yet this thing has an entire copper-clad chassis! :')
So, you're saying, if they had not opened the box, we would have Just been shown - THE BOX? WHAT About the System itself? You had it out. Did You notice the BOTTOM of the Unit? W0W!!!!!!!!
I was wondering when the first subscriber would mention this. You are really asking The question. Should you open a vintage boxed/sealed player. At the dccmuseum, we do not open them, unless we have multiples. We have several new players in box and they would make boring video's. You are right. Our goal is to make a video about each player individually and then also show the player we might have in box, but in the Marantz dd92 case it was already open, yet the player was still sealed and never used. A future video will be made about another dd92 we have at the musuem, that we actually use. Long story short. We like to have 2 players of each. One that we can use and in sealed in box. The ultimate dream? 3 players. To have one in box but opened like the Marantz.
Thank You so much! I was feeling quite left out, or we were. I Understand the 'Original' in package, to a point. Box - glued, stapled, even taped, [w\out cutting] opened, could be possible w\ no damage. IE: Remove Bottle Labels & Wrapped Gifts; I Don't like Ripping the paper. = ] PLEASE, Do speak of the material it's made of. I may be dreaming, but the bottom looked copper or brass. ?? i know nothing of metals, but have Never seen such use of Flashy material, that Won't be seen. =\ that's sad Very happy for you about the bonuses, Quite a treat in deed!! You're good, I thought light looked fine. Let us know about fixing it. peace
Hi Ralf, how are you is it all right, a technical question can benefit your followers? I have marantz DD 92 an excellent performance device in the digital strips when using normal strips the display screen changes continuously and sometimes it works and then the problem returns. thebroplem from the key that is dirty need to clean or something else, answer my question, Doctor🤔
Hi, we will try and answer as best as we can, because it is not exactly clear what the problem is. If the DD92 is acting up with audio, like skipping, no sound, strange sounds, then it is most likely capacitor related and they should be replaced immediately to prevent further damage. If the capacitors are already replaced, it could also be the pinch rollers. If there is something wrong with the display, we would need to know more.
@@DRDCC The screen changes with the sound interruption and there is a sound like the TEC sound, I don't know how to explain like sub switches i hope you understand what I mean
Nice that they put the cables and sampler cassette in a package that looks exactly like a DCC cassette!
Good observation. I missed that. It does look really cool.

Why is the very loud electronic music necessary?
