Thank you very much for this recipe. I left the berries chunked for an ice cream sauce at a fundraiser for our food pantry. We ran out and I was asked if there was any more. We started with a large bowl that I thought would yield leftovers. What a hit!!! We had people coming back for seconds. This is a definite keeper recipe. Thanks again.
I was looking for a yummy strawberries sauce and I found your channel 😊 here is a New follower.. By the way i like your spoon an i'll try to look for one here to avoid scraching my pots! May be in Ikea !! Big Salam from Morocco 🇲🇦
This looks so yummy! I don't have cornstarch tho ): is this a required ingredient, or should it do okay without? Would maybe maple syrup thicken it up some if I added enough of that and maybe reduced the sugar? Thanks for sharing these great recipes!(:
Thank you! You can use arrowroot, potato starch, tapioca, and rice flour as substitutes. No maple syrup won't thicken it up. You can try a little bit of all-purpose flour as well.
It has a cool spoon in it that I like and wanted to talk about. Did you even watch the video Doreen? it is 95% about strawberry sauce and 5% about the spoon.
@@inthekitchenwithmatt Yes I did watch it and I am going to make strawberry sauce tomorrow, but I wasn't watching it to buy a spoon. It was rather over plugged.

Yes Aksel!! This will go with cheesecake for sure! :) I have several cheesecake videos on my channel that you can try. :) :)
I tend to make my strawberry sauce with just blended strawberrys all by themselves. Works really well.
Cool! I like mine sweeter. :)
Started with your crepe video n now I'm here 3 videos later. Yeah, I just subscribed. Great stuff Matt!
Thank you! So glad you like them. :) :)

@@inthekitchenwithmatt very welcome 😊
you were really promoting that spoon lol
lol :) yeah sometimes I do that in the videos. haha
Thanks man.
You are very welcome!
Hi, thanks for the recipes. Can I just cook it more to thicken it & skip the corn flour? What’s its shelf life in fridge & freezer?
Hi there, it won't be as thick without the cornstarch. It will last a week or two in the fridge and a few months in the freezer. :)
Do you have to put it in the blender Matt?
No you don't :)

Can we do this frozen strawberries?
Yes frozen strawberries will work. :)
@@inthekitchenwithmatt thanks just tried it and it comes out amazing
Merci boku from Ca 🧡❤️🌺💐👍🏻
You are very welcome Farah!! :) :)
Could you use lime juice instead of lemon juice
Sure, use a little less lime juice, since it is more potent then lemon juice.
Can we used this recipe with blueberry ?
Sure I don't see why not. :) :) It should work with pretty much most berries, blackberries, blueberries, raspberries, etc. :)
@@inthekitchenwithmatt thank you for replay .🙂 hello from me ,n im from yogyakarta
@@Hyatt.Rywija You are welcome! Thanks for watching! :)
👍🏻
Thank you!! :)
Hi👍
Hello Doris! :)
If the strawberries are sweet already, why do you need sugar?
In order to make that type of sauce, also it works as a preservative. You can adjust the sugar depending on sweet the strawberries are.
Chuck Norris uses that spoon
LOL Chuck Norris invented that spoon, haha
Is this video about a spoon?

@@geminil2415 Doreen, good luck with the sauce. Your opinion is noted. But again, a few seconds to me isn't "overplugged" haha
Can you makes waffle Matt thx. you
Hi Helen yes I have a couple of videos for waffles already, if you watch this video to the end, you will find the link to one of the waffle videos. :)
I am so sorry, but I would recommend lowering the amount of sugar to half, but the rest was great....
Make it however you want. It is supposed to be sweet.
