ASMR stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response it is described as a pleasurable tingling sensation that can be felt most commonly in the back of the scalp and down the spine but not limited to these area's.
I try to describe ASMR experience to people using something common like visiting a hairdresser, do you find the experience of someone focusing on you, the gentle touching of your hair, the sound of the scissors moving around you relaxing?
That would be a relaxing experience, watching ASMR video is like recreating that type of experience.
I believe most people can experience ASMR, to experience ASMR you need to find you trigger, common triggers will often be related to one person focusing on you or another person and watching this person focus or give them attention will trigger it.

Sounds : Crinkle, Tapping, Scratching & multi layering of different sounds together
Almost anything can be a "trigger' for a persons ASMR everybody is different, you just have to find yours.

That. Worked. Brilliantly! I was just sitting here slouched in a comfortable chair with my iPhone and headphones and I am so relaxed now. I've been trying to think of a new suggestion for you and I think it would be worth a go at whispering like you did here but with gentle water sounds. Not recorded with an old Nokia phone, doesn't have barking dogs, static noises and consists of 3 pixels at 12 frames per second. Just pure quality. The sound of you swallowing or breathing next to my ear as well as any kind of positive reinforcement/praise (for example when you say "excellent", "very good", "you did very well" etc.) does the same for me; puts me under almost immediately, making me feel utterly safe, relaxed, warm and tingly inside :) I cannot remember anyone or anything managing to do this to me as effectively as you do.
