one has to clean the rig and canopy with clear water as soon as possible and let it dry overnight. having done this it had no negative impact on the gear.
If u had a lineover or line twists that put you into a whirly would the impact be survivable into water? Mayvbe a spiraling (maybe only partially inflated) canopy at a light wingloading might have slow enough of a descent rate to be survivable. If so that would definitely make it a lot safer (given floatation euipement and/or a boat ready to save you)
i think the impact would be not fatal but papinfull whnen you have a lineover you reach close sppeds to terminal like 80mph so it would hurt you might die
@brotherlybrother11 you would more than likely die upon impact. If you've ever done water sports then you would know that the water feels like concrete at high speeds.
Even though it is fake, it still would not have been a world first. /watch?v=DEP8juRSBRo world first for landing water yes( if it wasn't fake )... honestly this does look plausible to do, just need someone willing to take the risk.
FUCK NO! lol poor guy. what is the terminal velocity of a human? i think that you could track to the whater withour a wingsuit or parichute and land it feet first?
I'm assuming the water landing was unintentional... lol. Great vid man thanks for posting.
Can't wait to jump some day...
