Il coule de ces pièces comme un rêve de fièvre brumeuse de vieilles légendes et de campagnes inachevées. C'est à la fois subtil en arrière-plan et demande de l'attention. Musique translucide trempée de féérie 🤗💥

I had the great fortune of attending the New School for Jazz & Contemporary Music with Chris and Brad (circa 1989-93) and they were miles beyond the rest of us even at 18/19/20 years old. Nice guys too! Cherished memories and pride for my fellow alumni.

Brad s been through some shit and he's come through intact . Chris is great as usual. Etc
The whole quartet is together. Superb.

Hi Andy, I was in New York the exact year when Brad Mehldau played his exam concert at the Top of the Village Gate (in 1992 or 3?). So, I guess you were in the audience, too? I was with Till Behler who gave me Nils Wogram's room for the night

I was playing with several New School students at that time, saw Chris and Brad a lot. Yes, they were miles ahead of most everyone as history has shown.

Amazing quartet, thanks Chris Potter for assembling this meeting of great musical talents. Potter has really developed a unique musical voice and has established himself as one of the more creative tenors of our time. Real nice to see and listen to Brad Mehldau play behind Potter and in a diffrent rhythm section than the ones he usually leads, his solos are always outstanding for his ability to communicate and interact with the other musicians while grabbing the listener's attention. Thank you also for such a great video production, with nice long shots and closely paying attention to what is going on on stage.

John had probably not even seen that bass until that day! It’s difficult to develop a sound on the spot!

Est-ce-que je suis le seul à avoir l'impression d'écouter des gars qui font des gammes en simultané ? Aucune mélodie, juste du déballage technique... Bof !
