not really seeing any good alternatives btw. what indie game do you have to compare this with? don't have any good examples myself and iv'e been looking for a black flag like game since black flag came out so i KNOW you don't have any good examples either. sea of thieves is good, if your twelve and like spamming emotes to do a jig to. blackwake was decent but multi play only and i want a good singleplayer title, whereas this has both. been some cool airship games with great idea's but they faded away into obscurity or became lesser projects. didn't really see this guy kissing ubi's ass either. don't really like the fact that ubi is trying to make their own steam too just like everyone else which will add to the bloatware on my pc, so not particularly a fan of them rn myself. but you guys are all expecting him to jump on your hate bandwagon and he chose a different rout. yall screaming sell out's while rounding yourselves up into a little click. sounds like your the sell out mate.
@@jakewilferd6093 Thank you, in fact I believe I was a bit critical of Ubisoft when they listed 10-15 studios that made this game when Valheim, Palworld, Sunkenland and others were made by a handful of people and selling millions of copies. I have no preference for Ubi, I like this game a lot though.
@@FloppySwordGaming same, honestly a little disappointed the newer AC titles had none of the ship combat that flag did. I know it's not the right setting but it just seems like so much wasted potential. Only one I have liked so far is the Viking one since you can have your own little war party. They say things like " we want you to focus on character development with this title" but what they really mean is ai companions are hard to code and so is naval combat. The only thing missing from this that black flag had are larger on foot components and to be honest I won't miss hunting down all the random trinkets. I'm not a child and my easter egg hunting days are over. That's just padding to get more hours played and everyone knows it. Stop with the trinkets, stop with the 100 base jumps just to reveal a map. Add cool things like recruiting companions. Primal had it even tho it was just one really beefy animal. Vikings has it. If the next one don't that's just plain lazy. The code is already there now, you have no excuse.
The game is fun! this shit is so annoying. People aren't even giving it a shot.
The only thing I didn't like. Is that you can't get off the ship to explore the islands.

I missed the beta version so gutted but will be buying this game have been waiting for this game
some of their garment and prop design choices are more fantastical rather than historical in this;
and I kinda yearn for a High Fantasy pirate game now

I've been watching this for three hours, the game looks great, but FloppySword, bro, real talk... How do you not know the word "cannon"? You keep saying "cannon ball shooters"
The game calls them culverins so I was making fun of the game sarcastically for not just calling them cannons. Some of my jokes loop so far around they come off as sounding stupid AF again.
