I don't wanna think so I look for someone that already made a build. Especially since I like focusing on competitive doubles and like to use things that aren't common.
Drop Hyperbeam and replace it with Hypervoice. No one shot RNG, no recharge, can be used as filler, and has a higher overall base power (over two turns).
Another option if you don’t have a pixilate Sylveon and for some reason can’t make one, replace hyper beam/voice with moon blast. It has the same accuracy and a slightly higher base power than hyper voice, and is already a fairy move so no need for pixilate.
I used Flutter Mane with its move set being Moonblast, Calm Mind, Fake Tears, and Draining Kiss. Held Item: Covert Cloak, Hyper Trained, and caught it in a Luxury Ball. I'm still glad that this is a 5 Star Tera Raid unlike that Mewtwo 7 Star Tera Raid
Same here as well, only this time, I made sure to increase a lot of Special Attacks and Defense to make sure that my Flutter Mane doesn't take too much damage from moves that are up close such as Earthquake. You and me both there, and I was doing a lot of thinking to figure out a way before I noticed that it's a 5 Star Tera Raid as well, much to our relief. X3
@@Frostbyte115 Dude if Mew didn't get the boosts is did I think we'd have been cooked back then with Mewtwo. Unfortunately I missed the chance to get the special title on my shiny mew since I didn't have it in Pokemon Go yet.
i solo'd it with a Azumarill with Huge Power and Shell Bell, and just spammed +6 Belly Drum boosted Play Roughs. I did miss a couple times, but i still won. 252 HP and Atk, Hyper Trained, Level 100, i also had Draining Kiss on it if i needed extra recovery, plus Protect for when he nullifies my ability and stat buffs.
Did the same and it did a ton of damage but I used charm to lower extreme speed and earthquake damage for a bit until he nullified and then I went for the belly drum and finish him off. When I got low I used draining kiss and got a lucky miss for the hurricane
I actually did use the Sylveon against the Shiny Rayquaza with the Sylveon holding the Shell Bell and only using Calm mind and Draining kiss to heal myself. I unfortunately used calm mind first out of panic from the Dragon Ascent turn one and then just kept using Draining kiss and calm mind until Rayquaza was knocked out with tera of course!
I went in with Sylveon with no held items and used Calm Mind and Moonblast. I forgot to put fake tears but used Calm Mind 3 times and moonblast my way through. I did use draining kiss twice to recover health. At least it was all fairy types in the raid.
I used Magearna with a held item metronome, draining kiss, Iron defense, Fleur Cannon and Flash Cannon. I soloed it, the NPC allies weren't so bad and them constantly dying meant i kept getting power ups from Soul Heart often which allowed me to stay alive in the fight and rack up that damage. Had iron defense ready cause i just KNEW it was gonna have Earthquake. First try.~
Luxury ball for me. I used the mystery gift Sylveon from a while back and this was incredibly easy. Draining kiss carried me, calm mind boosted me, then after breaking the shield fake tears set up the alley oop for hyper beam
Flutter Mane Nature: Modest EV spread: 252 SpAtk, 252 SpDef Tera Type: Fairy Item: Covert Cloth Moves: Moonblast, Fake Tears, Calm Mind, Draining Kiss I spam either Moonblast or Draining Kiss until Rayquaza gets rid of the stat changes. Then I set up with either 5 or 6 Calm Minds before terastallizing. Rayquaza can't really hit you while you still have the dual typing of Fairy and Ghost (Draco Meteor and Extremespeed neutralized). Hurricane does hardly any damage because Flutter Mane is so tanky on the SpDef. Just need to watch out for Earthquake. But once you terastalize, you should be able to knock it out with a couple of Moonblasts or Draining kisses.
I got my two Ray Rays: soloed first try in Violet with my Destiny Marked/Gorgeous Royal Ribbon shiny Gardevoir for the Beast Ball capture, then soloed again first try in Scarlet with my shiny 'Bad Bunny' Azumarill for the Moon Ball capture. I'm gonna have some fun farming this raid with a lot of different builds, especially Sylveon. Great work as always Osirus! Gardevoir build was 252 HP/252 SP.ATK/4 DEF, Modest Nature, Metronome (Covert Cloak is better) and moves were Draining Kiss, Calm Mind, Reflect and Moonblast.
This build is really good but if you’re doing this online I would switch Fake tears to mud slap just because the teammates may damage it quickly and the shield so goes up at 80% hp plus mudslap goes through the shield.
What is the moveset in the raid its actually a 2 shot solo as I tried 6 Calm Minds and 3 Fake Tears and my Sylveon was level 100 with the stats you mentioned but it got knocked out
Hey brotha, forget to mention my wife and I saw your performance on stream as a VGC commentator and you did amazing 👏 Can't wait to see more of your commentary 💯🔥
failed twice when i used azumarill so i decided to just go the support route and use gardevoir with reflect, light screen, helping hand and draining kiss while holding a sitrus berry. it surprisingly worked out well when i paired up with two sylveons and an azumarill. then i decided to so another one just to farm for stuff and these random people brought in iron valiant, hearthflame mask ogerpon, and a klefki. Ngl I thought we were going to lose at first. Then rayquaza decided to use a move on klefki and then I saw the text "it doesn't affect ma keys", followed by them using a super effective move that defeated rayquaza. I nearly died from laughter also the other dude's ogerpon was named "Ponyo" after i decided to look at their names
I used MAX SpATK, plus DEF & Spd. Pixie plate, Stellar type shiny Arceus. First try K.O. Moveset- Judgment. Calm mind ( I used meteor beam, you could try adic spray or ice beam) and recover. 🎉 good luck and enjoy the holidays
I got mine on my third attempt, my first two were with others, third was by myself. I used a fairy type Arceus with the moves Judgement, Acid spray, Calm mind and Recover. I was lucky that one of the NPC's pokemon was a Gardevoir and kept healing me a bit with life dew.
I used Azumaril with terra ice type. Max HP/Max Attack Shell bell huge power Ice spinner Protect Ice punch Belly drum Basically I ice punch till the shield goes up. Used protect afterwards. Then used belly drum. Terra after with one of the ice moves. Using ice punch or ice spinner till I won. I just went with this option. Cause I had this build awhile back. And decided to try it out. Caught this im a luxury ball.
I mean if you did the dragonite raid just use the corviknight from that it was honestly the easiest raid in ages, you could also just use orthworm from the torterra raid as it also works too
I used a Dragon Tera Contrary Serperior holding a Shell Bell. 252 EVs in Sp. Attack and HP, 6 in Defence. Leaf Storm to +6 Special Attack, then Dragon Pulse until you win. Caught it in a Luxury Ball btw.
Got it with clefable build that was on the recommended mons from the last vid. Caught it with Luxury ball on violet and beast ball on scarlet. Thankful it's an easy raid.
This strategy helped so much! I couldn't understand how to do the EV's so I just hyper trained it. Still worked! I named the rayquaza "RayZay" cause I couldn't figure out a name for it. I caught him in an ultra ball (I know, boring.) I thought it fit rayquaza with the patterns. Thank you for the build idea!
Ev and iv are totally different things that pretty much do the same thing . Iv are something a pokemon is born with and ev are something they grow with or are trained with . To see your pokemons ev simply go to summary and switch the graph view. If you've never used the pokemon in battle it'll have zero evs. If you used the pokemon in battles it'll have tons of random evs. The best way to ev train a pokemon is to get lots of zenny and buy vitamins for the two stats you want to boost like defense and special attack I forgot how many vitamins it takes to max out a pokemon but I know it costs 500,000 to 1,000,000 to ev train one pokemon. Iv or individual values are bred into a pokemon or in wild pokemon generated upon spawning in if it's a wild pokemon it'll likely have bad IV if it's a high level raid pokemon five star or better it'll likely have very high IV if it has bad IV you can hyper train if it has six perfect i.v you won't be able to hyper train it at all .
Also you buy vitamins at chancey supply for 10k each and if your pokemon has been used in battle you'll need to use ev berries to remove the unwanted ev . These berries can be bought at the auction house frequently. Each berry takes away a stats ev by a certain amount and raises friendship.
For Pokeballs i used a Luxury Ball and a Premier Ball (i have both games) My Build (solo) Magearna, Level 100, Hyper Trained item - Shell Bell evs - max HP and Special Attack 4 in defense Moves - Aurora Beam, Iron Defense, Dazzling Gleam, Calm Mind. Ability - Soul-Heart Tera Type - Fairy Order - start with Aurora Beam then an Iron Defense go between these till your stats get reset. Then do Aurora Beam twice and Iron Defense once (use heal cheer if unlucky). By now some of your Ai team mates had to reset (Their Pokemon Died) triggering Soul-Heart, Tera in Fairy and spam Dazzling Gleam. Calm mind is for online, and you will want a x3 Special Attack at most when spamming Dazzling Gleam
Hello, i just wanted to know if you can just save before fighting rayquaza and can i retry to catch it if i didn't like the nature or is it preset that it is naughty
You can change nature's using specific items based on the nature you want. Also IV wise you can use bottle caps on the stats you want set to IV from hyper training
Mine is Azumarill max Atk Def adamant shellbell with aquaring belly drum playrough. 1st turn aquaring > play rough x3 for tera charge and trigger shield > belly drum after rayquaza reset team stats > tera fairy playrough all the way. Easiest and sure way to farm the rayquaza for herbas!
Hey, Lee. I have got a build for you to try. Tinkaton @ Shell Bell. 252 atk, 252 HP. Adamant. Tera Fairy. You literally only need two moves: swords dance and play rough. One swords dance, two play roughs. Stats reset. Three swords dance and spam play rough (you tera when you see the chance) till you win. I was in literally no danger while trying this build. Super easy.
Okay, idk what you've done in comparison to me, but when I open the menu and tap L, I immediately get a prompt for Nintendo Online Membership. No idea why.
Make sure you have gone into pokeportal, then mystery gifts I think, then poke news, it should update you game for a tera raid den dragon type, from there find it in paldea
I used an Unaware Clefable set with max Def and HP investment with the moveset: - Reflect - Protect - Calm Mind - Moonblast Tera Type: Fairy Held Item: Leftovers I initially ran Chilling Water but Reflect worked better for me. I basically just set up Reflect and used Moonblast until Rayquaza did the stat and ability nullify. Then I stacked 6 Calm Minds and just used Tera Fairy Moonblast until I won. I caught Rayquaza in a Luxury Ball btw
I caught mine in a level ball. I liked the colors and the v on the top. In other news, I used arceus, 252 sp atk, 252 def, 4 hp. Calm mind, chilling water, acid spray, judgment. Pixie plate with stellar or fairy Tera type
First time fairy tera magearna with leftovers, fleur cannon, draining kiss, flash cannon and dazzling gleam. The npc's fainted many times after player stat reset so my sp atk raised very often. I did fleur cannon when tera and raised stas, it broke through the tera shield instantly. Second time, sylveon pixilate, leftovers, draining kiss, hyper voice, moonblast, calm mind. Also went quickly.
I got mine yesterday and even with not that much info about it, as well just predictions, it was decently easy to beat. Plus I caught mine in a Luxury Ball. Not only does it deserve such a ball, but the colors match too.
I defeated Rayquaza on my first try! And all thanks to your video. As someone who hasn't played the game for a while now and was just chiming in for the free shiny legendary, thank you very much for this short and to-the-point video 😊 I can go back to Mario & Luigi now.
I used an Archaludon. Level 100, Modest nature, Hyper Trained, max special attack EVs, its Stamina ability, Shell Bell as its item, and the moves Dragon Pulse, Metal Sound, Draco Meteor (emergency nuke for the final stretch), and Body Press (which I never actually used). It was close, but after a couple Stamina boosts, it just shrugged off Rayquaza's Earthquakes, allowing me to win on my first try. And of course I caught it in a Luxury Ball.
Annihilape. Ghost tera type. Max IV's HP and Attack. Moves: Drain punch and Rage fist. Held item : Shell bell. Drain punch until terastalization , then rage fist till it goes down 😊
Oh i already have gotten 3 of 4 I'm able to. Captured one in a beast ball, one in a moon ball, one in a luxury ball I found success with the following build Zacian @ Rusted Sword EVs: 6 HP, 252 Atk, 252 Spe. Tera: Fairy Nature: Adamant Moves: Snarl, Iron Head ( Behemoth Blade ), play rough, and swords dance
Personally for me, I used an iron hands, it's moveset is belly drum, thunder punch, drain punch, and tera blast. Stellar tera type and tera blast will really help knock out the shield. For it's ability I use quark drive, and a booster energy, for it's stats, it is all hyper trained but it's best are it's HP and attack. You may faint like one but that's all honestly
Since it was a dragon with dragon Tera I used the Ole reliable Azumarril that we used against Charizard. Caught my shiny Rayquaza in a luxury ball because matching colors. I wish Pokémon would do more raids like this one!!!
My Azumarill did his job... the question was for the others to do their job (seriously, in almost every game I went to there was one or two who chose a dragon type, it was only on the third attempt that I managed it because I found people who knew what they were doing)
My personal build that used unfortunately is only available through the scarlet and violet dlc because I used my level 100 Terapagos with the moveset of Tera starstorm, calm mind, dazzling gleam, and rock slide I hyper trained it and had the shell bell on it but I also had a flutter mane built and a sylveon built for back up if I failed with my Terapagos in order to use Terapagos you need to max out tera starstorm to 8pp tera starstorm and dazzling gleam were the main to moves I used
My build: Mimikyu Level 100 Hyper Trained Item: Leftovers (just for some extra recovery) EVs: 252 ATK 252 DEF and 4 in HP Moves: SD, Pain Split, Charm and Play Rough Caught it in a beast ball
Sylveon Tera Fairy Modest nature EVs: 252 Sp.atk, 252 Def Item: Metronome Ability: Cute Charm / Pixilate (Doesn't matter!) Hyper Trained Moves: Draining Kiss 3 fillers Strategy: Just use Draining Kiss. No other moves are needed! Just keep using Draining Kiss (Tera after 3 uses) until Rayquaza goes down! Metronome causes the power of Draining Kiss to steadily increase! The amount of healing nullifies any damage Sylveon takes. Simple and easy! :) Maxing PP might be safe but Rayquaza went down before all 10 were used up. There might be faster builds but this one is both simple and reliable, and takes around 4~5 minutes to complete.
Should i do the raid online becuse im getting nintendo online for christmas so i can do the raid with other ppl perhaps because those build isnt working
Osirus! I got a fun build for you bro. It’s not a 4 turn KO, but it is ALMOST a 4 turn KO. Ursaluna @ Flame Orb Jolly Nature Ability: Guts EVs: 252 Atk / 176 SpD / 80 Spe - Belly Drum - Leer - Drain Punch - Facade Turn 1 - Belly Drum Turn 2 - Go All Out cheer Turn 3 - Leer (be quick with buttons!) Turn 4 - Facade (🌋🌋 ALMOST KO) IF FACADE CRITS YOU KO!! Turn 5 - you can figure it out lol Terms and Conditions: Dragon Ascent can NOT hit you (run) Don’t want Weavile (run) Don’t want Haxorus (run) Ideally No hurricane (Dra. Pulse is ok) Notes: the damage gets you 90% of the way, but unfortunately doesn’t KO. I think someone would have to try and get luck on the attack cheer 2x bonus to get the KO. It’s kinda finicky and requires a few restarts lol This is really just a fun meme strategy for crazy people lol.
I decided to use my Master Ball, I wasn't really gonna use it for anything else, so I figured why not, it is a pretty iconic Legendary that has made such a presence in the anime, let's honor it with the best ball.
My build - Grimmsnarl Modest nature, holding Leftovers 252 HP, 252 Sp Atk, 6 Def Tera Fairy Fake Tears Nasty Plot Draining Kiss Dark Pulse (never used was just already on my set) Caught Rayquaza in a Love Ball, after the one I caught in SS but sadly game was stolen so I don't have Jet anymore.
For the people that want to have an even easier time catching any of the three shiny pokemon, here are sandwich recipes that increase shiny odds at Level 3. Cetitan (Ice Shiny Sandwich) -1 Klawf Stick set -2 Salty Herba Mysticas Carbink (Fairy Shiny Sandwich) -1 Tomato set -2 Salty Herba Mysticas Fraxure (Dragon Shiny Sandwich) -1 Avocado set -2 Salty Herba Mysticas Happy Hunting!
Classic shell bell belly drum Azumaril gets the job done very fast. Calyrex Ice and Zacian (Fairy, not crowned) with Swords Dance and Shell Bell work great too if you have Pokemon Home and Sword & Shield. I didnt test Magearna but with Ray running earthquake and dragon dance I'm not sure it's the safest way to approach the fight.
I've been absolutely SMACKING this rayquaza raid woth baxcalibur: 252 atk, 126 Def, 126 sp Def, loaded dice to hold, sword dance for the first 4 turns, and then icicle spear once and it solos rayquaza. Best ai partners are anything with intimidate, any fairy types, and arboliva becomes a real mvp with seed sower.
I managed to do it solo with an untrained Huge Power Azumarill I got from a Tera Raid holding Leftovers, I taught it Aqua Ring and Light Screen but the AI brought Arboliva and Bellibolt so I didn't need to use them at all. I also taught it Ice Punch to conserve some Play Rough PP before I Terastalized.
What Pokeball did you catch shiny Rayquaza in?
Luxury Ball
Had to be luxury
yeah, Luxury
Luxury, though I'll likely use a Beast Ball if I do it on Violet as well
Luxury ball ofc. 🤣
my build:
Florges
level 100
hyper trained
item: Covert Cloak (stops hurricane confuse chance)
evs: 252 special attack/physical defense, 4 hp
moves: Calm Mind, Moon Blast, Draining Kiss, Reflect
caught it in a Luxury Ball
Thanks for sharing
I have a level 100 Tatsugiri holding a Mystic Water 😦
Apparently Florges cannot learn Reflect, but thankfully that doesn't seem too important. I just tried to teach it by TM.
Luxury Ball is the only acceptable thing to catch it in.
I'm going to use a beast ball 😈
You…monster
Beast ball bro
And I thought I was original ☹️
What about an ultra ball ?
Used your guide and it worked like a charm. Thanks for this. I don't know how to build for stuff like this so I'm always greatful for these.
Yeah Hyper Voice is best here. I have to build 2 so my friend can solo it and I can gain at least 4 copies of this mon
Honestly, if Ray was a 7 star.. I think we'd be having to head bang the wall a few more times.
That was my choice as well
Same here as well, only this time, I made sure to increase a lot of Special Attacks and Defense to make sure that my Flutter Mane doesn't take too much damage from moves that are up close such as Earthquake. You and me both there, and I was doing a lot of thinking to figure out a way before I noticed that it's a 5 Star Tera Raid as well, much to our relief. X3
Going to do the same. Slightly different move pool

I unfortunately used calm mind first out of panic from the Dragon Ascent turn one and then just kept using Draining kiss and calm mind until Rayquaza was knocked out with tera of course!
Awesome to hear your Sylveon strat came through :)
does it needs to be a modest nature? or i could do it with other nature sylveon?
Awesome. This was pretty easy, didn’t even bother super training. I was surprised how well draining kiss worked with his shield up.
I went in with Sylveon with no held items and used Calm Mind and Moonblast. I forgot to put fake tears but used Calm Mind 3 times and moonblast my way through. I did use draining kiss twice to recover health. At least it was all fairy types in the raid.
Nice little 5 star raid, a doddle for this one.
Hope your ankle is feeling better mate
Thanks Rich
@ you weren’t kidding, 2 raids picked up 8 herba and an ability patch! Might have to grind it all weekend.
Thank you so much! I always watch your videos whenever there's a raid event. You have the best solo build guide!
Have you try Manaphy 2 Tail Glows with Heart Swap and Sylveon 2 Fake Tears with Hyper Beam? It actually is ONE HIT K-O!!
Flutter Mane
Nature: Modest
EV spread: 252 SpAtk, 252 SpDef
Tera Type: Fairy
Item: Covert Cloth
Moves: Moonblast, Fake Tears, Calm Mind, Draining Kiss
I spam either Moonblast or Draining Kiss until Rayquaza gets rid of the stat changes. Then I set up with either 5 or 6 Calm Minds before terastallizing. Rayquaza can't really hit you while you still have the dual typing of Fairy and Ghost (Draco Meteor and Extremespeed neutralized). Gardevoir build was 252 HP/252 SP.ATK/4 DEF, Modest Nature, Metronome (Covert Cloak is better) and moves were Draining Kiss, Calm Mind, Reflect and Moonblast.
bro this is gonna help out a ton! I also love sylveon so this is awesome
This build is really good but if you’re doing this online I would switch Fake tears to mud slap just because the teammates may damage it quickly and the shield so goes up at 80% hp plus mudslap goes through the shield.
Thank you and happy holidays! i used my Sylveon already made without the def maxed out and still won easely. Loved it.
Thank you so much this helped me out!
Oh and I went with the Luxury Ball
You can 1 shot this raid with hyper beam Sylveon.
Sylveon @ Pixie Plate / Life Orb
Ability: Pixilate
Modest Nature
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 6 Def
- Hyper Beam
- Calm Mind
- Fake Tears
The only caveat is that you need to have transferred an Arceus into your game to even be able to get the Pixie Plate
@LT-sy3on you can replace it with life orb instead if you do not have access to the plates.
What is the moveset in the raid its actually a 2 shot solo as I tried 6 Calm Minds and 3 Fake Tears and my Sylveon was level 100 with the stats you mentioned but it got knocked out
@@LT-sy3on Doesn't Fairy Feather have the same bonus as Pixie Plate? IIRC you need the DLC for that but not a transferred Arceus.
3x calm mind -> 1x fake tears -> life orb hyper beam = 5 turn KO with sylveon
Thanks for the video Lee! Happy holidays and the best wishes to you and your family.
Hope you’re healing up quick!
Hey brotha, forget to mention my wife and I saw your performance on stream as a VGC commentator and you did amazing 👏 Can't wait to see more of your commentary 💯🔥
I followed your fightstyle and it worked
Thank uuuu so much!!!
I caught it with beast ball because it’s a dope design but sucks at catching non ultra beast Mons
I managed to beat it with the standard Iron Hands build.
caught it in a moon ball - it has black & yellow for the shiny and blue for the sky
failed twice when i used azumarill so i decided to just go the support route and use gardevoir with reflect, light screen, helping hand and draining kiss while holding a sitrus berry. it surprisingly worked out well when i paired up with two sylveons and an azumarill.
then i decided to so another one just to farm for stuff and these random people brought in iron valiant, hearthflame mask ogerpon, and a klefki. Ngl I thought we were going to lose at first. Then rayquaza decided to use a move on klefki and then I saw the text "it doesn't affect ma keys", followed by them using a super effective move that defeated rayquaza. I nearly died from laughter
also the other dude's ogerpon was named "Ponyo" after i decided to look at their names
Used an Azumarill with the misty terrain and fairy tera + play rough and belly drum, i like forcing my way
Thank you Osirus for the build of Sylveon and step by step guide to defeat Shiny Rayquaza 👍
Thank you brother 🙏🏾 I followed your steps and got him in a ultra ball because of the colors 🤭 now I'm just farming him till he's gone 👍🏾
I used MAX SpATK, plus DEF & Spd. Pixie plate, Stellar type shiny Arceus. First try K.O.
Moveset-
Judgment. Calm mind ( I used meteor beam, you could try adic spray or ice beam) and recover. 🎉 good luck and enjoy the holidays
And caught in a Dream Ball. Nicknamed it CelestialBLK
How did you get a pixie plate im looking for one
@zombiekingentertainment4625 I think I got mine at the auctions in Porto Marinada
I got mine on my third attempt, my first two were with others, third was by myself. I used a fairy type Arceus with the moves Judgement, Acid spray, Calm mind and Recover. I was lucky that one of the NPC's pokemon was a Gardevoir and kept healing me a bit with life dew.
I used the standard Azumarill build to take it down. It worked fine even after it missed a Play Rough.
Me too, I cannot betray my rabbits
I used Azumaril with terra ice type.
Max HP/Max Attack
Shell bell huge power
Ice spinner
Protect
Ice punch
Belly drum
Basically I ice punch till the shield goes up. Used protect afterwards. Then used belly drum. Terra after with one of the ice moves. Using ice punch or ice spinner till I won.
I just went with this option. Cause I had this build awhile back. And decided to try it out. Caught this im a luxury ball.
tysm for the guide dude! Caught him first go with your Sylveon build with a Beast Ball!
I mean if you did the dragonite raid just use the corviknight from that it was honestly the easiest raid in ages, you could also just use orthworm from the torterra raid as it also works too

Its a ball only in Pokémon unite called the unite ball I’m pretty sure 👍 anyway have a nice Christmas 🎄 soon
Thank you so much for this walkthrough on shiny rayquaza it will help me a lot.
Thanks for the video! I am not very good at raids but followed ur recommendations and it was perfect!! Got my shiny Ray! Thx!!!
Thanks for the help, was able to get my Rayquaza with the Sylveon!
For Pokeballs i used a Luxury Ball and a Premier Ball (i have both games)
My Build (solo)
Magearna, Level 100, Hyper Trained
item - Shell Bell
evs - max HP and Special Attack 4 in defense
Moves - Aurora Beam, Iron Defense, Dazzling Gleam, Calm Mind.
Ability - Soul-Heart
Tera Type - Fairy
Order - start with Aurora Beam then an Iron Defense go between these till your stats get reset.
Thank you for the setup, it helped a lot.
In my Scarlet I use a beastball and in my Violet I used a luxury ball.
Took it down with a Pixie Plate Stellar Tera Arceus, and then caught the shiny Rayray with the Luxury Ball.
Thank you, this exact build helped me tremendously
Super easy.
I followed your guide and it worked brilliantly. Thank you!
Okay, idk what you've done in comparison to me, but when I open the menu and tap L, I immediately get a prompt for Nintendo Online Membership. No idea why.
Nice build! Thanks for the help.
Do i NEED the exact same stats as you because my ivs are boomerang shaped and idk how to change them cuz i already full ivd it
It has hyper trained and best for all stats
Where do I get into the terra fight? I can’t find it ?
Make sure you have gone into pokeportal, then mystery gifts I think, then poke news, it should update you game for a tera raid den dragon type, from there find it in paldea
Its a 5 star look for dragon raids
After capture, does the Rayquaza den respawn immediately for farming or is it a once a day kind of deal?
Yeah it will respawn daily, you can use the date glitch to respawn instantly though if you wanted to farm for the item drops :)
@@Osirus Thank you so much!
I used an Unaware Clefable set with max Def and HP investment with the moveset:
- Reflect
- Protect
- Calm Mind
- Moonblast
Tera Type: Fairy
Held Item: Leftovers
I initially ran Chilling Water but Reflect worked better for me. I basically just set up Reflect and used Moonblast until Rayquaza did the stat and ability nullify. Then I stacked 6 Calm Minds and just used Tera Fairy Moonblast until I won.
I caught Rayquaza in a Luxury Ball btw
I've been looking forward to this raid! I got him! Thank you for your help!
Surprisingly I did it with annihilape. Wasn't really as hard as I thought it was gonna be.
Works like a charm, thanks. I've caught mine in a Level Ball.
So useful as always Lee, worked first time - thank you Sir! 🙏✨
I appreciate you, Lee! Thanks for the help!!
I used Pixie Plate Arceus and just used Acid Spray then terastalized and used Judgement, and a couple of Calm Minds. All EVs on sp attack and HP
Clefable (unaware) hold Metronome: Fake tear 3 time, draining kiss 3 time, tera fairy, spam draining kiss
I used Tinkaton Fairy Terra with Swords Dance and Rough Play. Of the 3 builds I tried, that was the one that worked the first time.
Was waiting 🎉
Hope the video helps and you enjoy the ray event :)
Luxury ball was the only acceptable option. anyways thank you for the strat!!! I followed it exactly and got it first try, thank you Osirus!!!!!
Flutter Mane was a solid solo option for me as well
I defeated Rayquaza on my first try!
Great build for soloing! I used the luxury ball for the catch.
Annihilape. Ghost tera type. Max IV's HP and Attack.
Moves: Drain punch and Rage fist. Held item : Shell bell.
Drain punch until terastalization , then rage fist till it goes down 😊
Oh i already have gotten 3 of 4 I'm able to.
Captured one in a beast ball, one in a moon ball, one in a luxury ball
I found success with the following build
Zacian @ Rusted Sword
EVs: 6 HP, 252 Atk, 252 Spe.
Tera: Fairy
Nature: Adamant
Moves: Snarl, Iron Head ( Behemoth Blade ), play rough, and swords dance
For once i have the exact same stats as yours, thanks for the vitamins guide 🤣 tysm raid was so smooth ❤️
You kinda have to worry about pulling off the belly drum if it doesn't use extreme speeds
I caught mine in a Moon Ball cause I felt it matched thematically and I already have a luxury balcony from DA
Once again, thank you! 1 Rayquaza down, 1 to go.
Both of mine will be in Premier Balls since thats what I catch (most) shinies in.
will do this later after work 😅 thanks for the guide. i just might catch it in a beast ball too. hope your injury's healing well if not yet already 🙏
My personal build that used unfortunately is only available through the scarlet and violet dlc because I used my level 100 Terapagos with the moveset of Tera starstorm, calm mind, dazzling gleam, and rock slide I hyper trained it and had the shell bell on it but I also had a flutter mane built and a sylveon built for back up if I failed with my Terapagos in order to use Terapagos you need to max out tera starstorm to 8pp tera starstorm and dazzling gleam were the main to moves I used
what about a modest azumarill?W/ 252 in A 252 in Hp and 6 in D
My build:
Mimikyu
Level 100
Hyper Trained
Item: Leftovers (just for some extra recovery)
EVs: 252 ATK 252 DEF and 4 in HP
Moves: SD, Pain Split, Charm and Play Rough
Caught it in a beast ball
Sylveon
Tera Fairy
Modest nature
EVs: 252 Sp.atk, 252 Def
Item: Metronome
Ability: Cute Charm / Pixilate (Doesn't matter!)
Hyper Trained
Moves:
Draining Kiss
3 fillers
Strategy: Just use Draining Kiss.
No other moves are needed! Just keep using Draining Kiss (Tera after 3 uses) until Rayquaza goes down! Metronome causes the power of Draining Kiss to steadily increase! The amount of healing nullifies any damage Sylveon takes. Simple and easy! :)
Maxing PP might be safe but Rayquaza went down before all 10 were used up.
There might be faster builds but this one is both simple and reliable, and takes around 4~5 minutes to complete.
Should i do the raid online becuse im getting nintendo online for christmas so i can do the raid with other ppl perhaps because those build isnt working
Doesn't the raid boss negating abilities invalidate pixilate?
Osirus! I got a fun build for you bro. It’s not a 4 turn KO, but it is ALMOST a 4 turn KO.
Ursaluna @ Flame Orb
Jolly Nature
Ability: Guts
EVs: 252 Atk / 176 SpD / 80 Spe
- Belly Drum
- Leer
- Drain Punch
- Facade
Turn 1 - Belly Drum
Turn 2 - Go All Out cheer
Turn 3 - Leer (be quick with buttons!)
Turn 4 - Facade (🌋🌋 ALMOST KO) IF FACADE CRITS YOU KO!!
Turn 5 - you can figure it out lol
Terms and Conditions:
Dragon Ascent can NOT hit you (run)
Don’t want Weavile (run)
Don’t want Haxorus (run)
Ideally No hurricane (Dra. Pulse is ok)
Notes: the damage gets you 90% of the way, but unfortunately doesn’t KO.
My build -
Grimmsnarl
Modest nature, holding Leftovers
252 HP, 252 Sp Atk, 6 Def
Tera Fairy
Fake Tears
Nasty Plot
Draining Kiss
Dark Pulse (never used was just already on my set)
Caught Rayquaza in a Love Ball, after the one I caught in SS but sadly game was stolen so I don't have Jet anymore.
For the people that want to have an even easier time catching any of the three shiny pokemon, here are sandwich recipes that increase shiny odds at Level 3.
Cetitan (Ice Shiny Sandwich)
-1 Klawf Stick set
-2 Salty Herba Mysticas
Carbink (Fairy Shiny Sandwich)
-1 Tomato set
-2 Salty Herba Mysticas
Fraxure (Dragon Shiny Sandwich)
-1 Avocado set
-2 Salty Herba Mysticas
Happy Hunting!
Can you get a large Rayquaza or are they all the same average size?
Best ai partners are anything with intimidate, any fairy types, and arboliva becomes a real mvp with seed sower.
hows the bagon did you say?
class build with one of our favourite mons. NICE ONE!
