A wonderful poem... that brings tears in my eyes... Thank you so much and to all the people who involved to rescue and rise these beautiful kestrels ... Much love to you all! ❤
It's got to be such an awesome feeling for them, to hover and feel wind on under their wings for the first time. And you guys get to witness it all the time. Awesome job you guys!! 💕😊😘
Thank you so much for helping these little beauties and thank you so much for educating us. You have a talent, thank you for using it. It takes a special person to do what you do.
Hello Martin and Susan! I'm in Maryland, near the Agricultural Center, and was lucky enough to have Barred Owls, and Harriar Hawks that nested and raised several broods, until the Tornado took out many old, large Mulberry Trees. We get Bald Eagles, Osprey, Red Tail Hawks, and Kestrels, and I even saw a Goshawk on my old Silver Maple! One year the Rapter migration was over my area, and I got to watch ALL of the Hawks, and Eagles ALL day as they were heading South West for the Winter! God Bless You for all your help and work to keep these Beautiful Birds alive and well! I consider my actual sighting of the migration a once in a lifetime event, as thousands of these Raptors flew together in a mass migration! Oh, and of course, we have Red Shoulder Hawks as well! I hope you have trained other special volunteers to carry on your Legacy! God Bless You and your Work with the Angels of the Sky! ❤️🦅❤️✝️❤️
i just love kestrels. i follow a few nests during the season. one thing i really like about these chicks is they don’t have the sibling aggression like you see with ospreys or bald eagles.
Thank you so much Martin for the education of these beautiful Kestrel Birds they're absolutely beautiful and you are a wonderful person for what you're doing you love your job and I'm happy for you it's so wonderful to see Utah it's a beautiful state and your beautiful animals❤😊🦅
I am in love with Kestrels and have been watching all the Kestrels over on Robert Fuller's channel in the UK. They have all grown up and fledged from the nests now but it's great to see a different breed. The Kestrels in the UK are called Common Kestrels. Anyway I hope these little ones do okay. It must be hard being orphaned because I know the ones on Roberts channel stay with the parents for up to 3 months after they fledge and the parents still feed them until they learn how to hunt for themselves.
The two of you make a great team. I also appreciate the love you have for animals and rendering the help they sometimes require. You surely must be proud of your accomplishments at saving animal lives! For this I say, “Thank You!”
I just love that young man's music and watching birds soar to it is perfect. I'd love a video of an hour or two listening and watching birds to relax with.

Hello sir, nice to see your teaching videos and how to protect these wonderful birds. I have also rescued these birds, there are times that they have them in small cages and they cannot fly and I have rehabilitated them for their wild life. greetings friend
Wonderful! Thanks! It's always hard for me to watch baby birds eat when there are a few of them, as i'm always concerned that they all should get enough. When it's very uneven, I get worried, even though I know it all comes out in the wash with them. One may have eaten more at the last meal, but I still like it better when everyone gets a pretty even amount. LOL

Thank you so much for this lovely video and for rescuing these cuties! I know that, in theory, there is freedom of expression but I really do not understand the thumbs down. We encroach upon creatures' environment, we kill them with pollution and rodenticides, we kill them with lead bullets if they eat prey that has been shot by hunters... it is our duty to help them if we can - this world belongs to them too!
I apologize for the mistake: I wanted to say that these little hawks are a love. I sincerely hope that to these fantastic babies does not happen anything. Unfortunately I always have this terrible fear, especially when the parents are not teaching them how to hunt, I hope the instinct to guide them. Good luck boys!! 💞🤞💞

🔺 Our Mission 🔺
Founded in 1997 in Cedar City Utah, we are a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to wildlife rescue, rehabilitation and education.
_Rescue, Rehabilitate and Release_
The Southwest Wildlife Foundation of Utah (SWF) cares for more than 100 sick, injured and orphaned native wildlife annually. Restoring them to health and returning them to the wild is our primary goal.
_Informing, Educating and Inspiring_
The SWF provides over 100 educational programs reaching over 30,000 people annually. We believe providing educational outreach programs to schools, scout groups and community events, with focus on children and families, will make the greatest impact in preserving our wildlife, the environment, our public lands and our resources for future generations to enjoy.
_Martin Tyner_
Since age twelve, with a bird on his arm, Martin has captivated audiences sharing his knowledge and experience of his wildlife friends.
At age nineteen, Martin was hired as curator of birds of prey at Busch Gardens, CA. He also worked in the movie and television industry training big cats, elephants, primates, sea mammals and raptors.
“One of my greatest childhood fantasies was the desire to create a personal friendship with a wild eagle. I found myself with a love and fascination for these powerful creatures.”
Martin Tyner is a federally licensed falconer, eagle falconer, wildlife rehabilitator, wildlife propagator, and wildlife and environmental educator.
He has been providing wildlife and environmental programs throughout the western United States, to schools, scouts and community groups for over fifty years.
“Grandpa believed in a very simple philosophy; that a person should get up every morning and do good. Doing good means that you do well for others and doing well means that you do good for yourself. There is nothing wrong with doing well, but Grandpa always believed in doing good.”
Martin's book, Healer of Angels, reflects back on his life: from a young boy terrified of birds to becoming the first man in North America licensed to train a wild golden eagle in the ancient art of falconry.
Through a heartwarming collection of true stories he describes his challenging transformation from a shy dyslexic teenager, to the founder and CEO of the Southwest Wildlife Foundation.
