A budget build would soley be focus on adding reliability mods to the car. It would be majority suspension and engine, not aesthetic focused like this channel.
C) You guys have built this car beautifully, and it is still unbelievable that you guys are giving this away. This and the 240sx is probably the “Loudest” giveaway builds you all have built to date. BTW... the throtl ICE CREAM merch is fire 🔥!
Y'all made a perfect STi. This series has been a blast to watch, thank you guys at throtl for all the hard work and care you put into this. It really shows in the quality of the finished product. Well done!
Zohair Najam actually can , they built the car in matter of months due to a deadline and a very good source of income .. any regular/normal person building their car would easily take 4-5 years to build their car at their own like , so 4-5 years , $45k .. not too bad and easily to do . Of course, priorities come first tho.
This is one of the most epic builds in my opinion. Total trophy car i wish the winner enjoys this iconic car as much as we all enjoyed watching the build. Much love to the Throtl team. Cant wait to see whats the next. Hope you guys are all staying safe, healthy and positive.
It's not that unattainable. A 2020 STI Limited goes for about $40,000. I would much rather spend the $45,000 to build an older STI like this one (Or Evo 9 like you said) to have it uniquely built the way you envision it. Just be smart with your money and you can get your dream car man! But knowing how to do the work yourself will save you alot of money too lol
@@maksor2785 my brother in law has a evo 9 hes gonna rebuild it to make 700 witch will only cost him 7 grand. He you buy a evo shell that will cost you 9 grand plus all the interiror still inside. I plan on having my 05 legacy gt done cleanly like this set up. Our crop comes down in 3 weeks to make this dream come true. You guys will be seeing me soon enough. I love the attention to detail plus the care you're team has. I've been looking for people with this exact drive for success to touch my car. Looking forward to meeting you brother
Its cost was $45.000... but I think is priceless, it's insane... congrats for projects as these, your hand work is amazing. This car is perfect wherever you look, interior, body, engine bay, all details make it better than any that i'v3 ever seen before. You're inspiring many people. Greetings from Colombia.
New to this channel and so far NOT dissapointed at all. Would LOVE to see you go loose on a Audi RS3 or even better, RS6 and put that Throtl magic on one of those beasts.
Watched til the end, was expecting a hidden option D. 🤣 I was guessing close to 50Gs. It’s a beautiful car. Whoever gets it is a very lucky person. Subarus are a ton of fun!
the most expensive thing with this all going on is that a dream has been completed..that cannot be bought..thumbs up to these amazing talented people..
@throtl ,sorry if you mentioned it later on, but why’d yall take down the video of last nights live chat? I saw it up earlier, left for 15 minutes, came back and video was GONE........✌🏼👊🏻
Just a quick question Mickey; why didn’t you install an AOS, and the Cylinder 4 cooling mod? These two parts are incredibly important when it comes to preventing damage in the boxer engines.
Man thats so sick. It makes my stock hatch cry lol God damn. So nice 👌 I'm happy I have one though. I keep my ride clean too. I live in Cali so forget about the front mount and all that jazz. I already have headaches every 2 years. It aint fun. But its worth it
man when i was 18 i'd absolutely dropped that money on a subbie without thinking twice...now at 26 i was so happy that i bought a corolla for $1500 in good condition...
Awesome video. I didn't realize there was so much involved. Especially parts wise. I brought a new-ish mini clubman s all4 and want to mod it out. It's doesn't even have many upgrades yet, but this gives an ideal
Were you guys ever able to fix the firewall issue with this car? Just picked up an 09 sedan and currently dealing with the bad spot welds on the flexing firewall.
The hatchback STI was one the best models Subaru built. Regret not paying too much attention to it during the years it was available. To bad that this model have become more unaffordable and only came out with the boring 4 Dr sedan.
I was just chilling watching your video and I swear I saw an exact copy of this STI drive by my house in Illinois also love your videos ( sorry for my bad English )
I cant believe the amount of money they spent on some of the parts for this car. I cant speak for the value of a lot of these parts, but I do know they could have done so much better for the audio solution. I personally drive a similar (non-turbo) 2011 Subaru Impreza, and a friend works at an audio shop. I bought my set used, but I priced out the cost of what I have new. They spent $1000 on an 8 inch sub and an amp, when my setup, consisting of 2 10 inch JL Subwoofers, and a 500W JL Amp would cost about $700 new, albeit without installation, which took my friend about 30 minutes to wire into my car. I have heard a subwoofer similar to the one they installed, and it just doesnt match the 2 10 inch I have. Even if they wanted to have only 1 sub, and have it offset to the side of the trunk like their 8 inch is, it would have cost less. They could have probably even gotten a custom built box, that would both sound and fit better into the trunk of the car for less than $1k, though a custom box can be a bit of a wildcard for pricing. Maybe they didnt want a sound system that was too Bass heavy, but they still could have gotten an 8 inch sub with a custom box (or not) and all for less. I doubt they talked to any decent audio shop about their solution, since I know that my friends shop would never recommend something like that. I just hope they didnt overspent like this on other parts for this car, but it seems like they might have, even if just to brag about the total cost of the build. I know I have seen a few other comments about them ignoring a couple of important performance and longevity mods for a car this heavily modified already.
I just wanna day what a good choice it was to keep the gaudy neon green accents to a minimum. Before it looked like a Valentino Rossi-spec WRX but now it looks worlds better

Thank you I did not feel like watching the whole video
add labor probably about $60,000 - $70,000 if someone was like have a shop build me this
@@OhThatsBugg I did not want to watch the video at all. Just wanted the price.
Way better than buying a brand new sti
You guys should definitely do a budget build! Would be sick to see
"starts with $15000 car"
A budget build would soley be focus on adding reliability mods to the car. It would be majority suspension and engine, not aesthetic focused like this channel.
This thing is literally insane, so much work went into it and it definitely paid off
Is this a pun or what 😂😂
At that cost though? Could you really afford to spend that kind of money on a 12 year old car? Would you though?
$60k for the car and parts. Probably 10k in labor. $70k for a 12 year old car that isn't Italian. No thanks.

Honestly it’s priceless.
Probably because most of us can’t afford a build like that
Zohair Najam you only believe what you set your mind to.
DimitriosVlogs facts my boi u a wise one 💪🏾

this is hands down the NICEST subaru wrx sti I have seen come together in all your videos. Throtl you absolutely killed it guys 🚀👌🔥
I love the way the Sti hatch came out. I actually rebuilt a wrecked one on my channel not to long ago.
That is awesome.
I rebuilt a 2017 Audi S3.
I am in the process now of completing all my exterior cosmetic stuff along with some interior bits.

Great car got to be my favourite so far originally it was the 180sx but this takes the cake
Car looks stunning. Great job. I love the candy paint.
What price would you give if you had to sell it including your time and effort ???
The truth meaning of perfection.
What turbo are you guys running and what BOV?
Was anything done to correct the steering after you slapped that wide body & those low offset wheels on it?
Good luurd this thing turns me into a telescope
