Walked in the forest when a fox came across our path. 2m distance. I spot it suddenly then, the fox spots us lets out a silent scream and turns around and runs for dear life. My dog was the last one to notice. No bushes, no tall grass, broad daylight and i the human was the first one to notice. Music at full volume and walking normally. It was embarrassing for all parties involved...

here in mexico we have 5,000 leopards in the jungle and many dogs desapear every years because leopards eats them, Sometimes tourist can see them walking in the beaches because our best beaches are in the jungle and that makes the beaches more beautiful but they need to be careful.

I just watched it on 0,25x speed. It was that really tiny, almost hard to see, head movement of Jackie that triggered the evil great cat to attack him and it made me wonder if it maybe crossed Jackies’ mind to act like some people act when they encounter a grizzly bear, like pretend to be dead. Maybe Jackie waited for so long for that cat to go away and when he thought he couldn’t hear its’ breath anymore, he wanted to raise his head to check if it’s gone already!
Well I've seen cats, Dogs, birds and other animals and off course people can be sneaked on when they R really tired and sleeping, when your body needs a rest , it will rest, the same with animals. It's how all living creatures stay alive.

I live near a national park and usually, leopards are too scared to even come in the city, what you are seeing are old leopards who are too lazy to hunt and so come to the city sometimes for dogs and cats as those are easy prey,it really isn't dangerous as they are scared of us but like in every 2,3 years my school gives out warning of a possible if a leopard has come to the town

Because most Asian families if not all use dogs as Guard dogs, that's why they are kept outside. Here in Philippines Majority of dogs are kept outside as Guard dogs. The only ones who kept their dogs inside are rich people with high class dogs. After all, dogs are bred for utility such as Guard dogs. It was only later that Dogs became more of pets. And pretty much there is difference in western and eastern mentality on treating animals.

Notice the camera was moving, the focus was changing. This was not from a static security camera. The person filming it allowed it happen. Part of me wonders if this was just really rough play by two animals who knew each other. However, seeming real, the cameraman allowed it to happen.

They have the ability to walk through grass, or on leaves, without making a sound. They also have excellent camo & perfect night vision. They can also leap +/- 25 feet to where they can be that far away & jump on you in an instant. They run really fast, too. Basic predator 101 stuff, really =/
Anyone with a house cat has seen them silently stalk exactly like this but since they're smaller than us it's cute and funny. To see it done on a MUCH larger scale is absolutely terrifying though! Creeped right up to the dog and it still wasn't aware that the leopard was there until it actually attacked.

How is a leopard's ambush abilities apart from tigers and jaguars? The dog is domesticated and doesn't give a damn about smell. You can clearly see shoes at the door, meaning that's an apartment and stairs to go to other floors. If it were one house, slippers and shoes wouldn't be left in the second floor or higher. They'd be left outside at the front door. And because it's an apartment, the dog that sleeps at the door smells all different scents from many people.
With everything else that’s been said, it’s also impressive how the Leopard’s awareness remained so keen that he sensed the approaching humans and quickly moved his prey just before they opened the door. Wow!
Heard not sensed. The video had no audio but the dog made a lot of yelps and this woke the humans who came out to see what the commotion was. The Leopard heard them on their way and tried to flee with the dog.

Yep. Once a guy was cycling somewhere in America without knowing that a mountain lion had been following him quietly for several kilometers. At some point his chain slipped so he stopped, got down and bent over to fix it. Then the lion attacked him from point blank and dragged his body into the bushes. We humans got really weak senses

The dog (most likely) died. There is no way a dog can survive being grabbed by the neck by the teeth of a leopard with blood splattering everywhereand one week after the attack there is no wound and the dog is perfectly active as reported by a Himalayan news report. It seems the owners have or found a similar dog to not create panic for the other locals in the area. Theres a reason for why the leopard grabs its prey by the neck. We also see the video conveniently cut off after the home owners come outside but stay at the top of the stairs. No move is mde to pursue the leopard, a predator.

Dogs are sensitive animals... Even just a little creak from a wooden board will make them alert and wide-awake. Its amazing how this leopard managed to silently sneak up to the dog at a very close range without disturbing it👀
It was taking it slow plus the dog was asleep during night. Would you be able to wake up by smelling food while you’re in a good sleep? I don’t think so. The cat was taking it 1 step at a time and paused in-between them. So it was like it was never even there.
Labrador Jackie is the dog’s name and he survived the attack, finally i can move on with my life knowing he’s okay.

I live near a national park and usually, leopards are too scared to even come in the city, what you are seeing are old leopards who are too lazy to hunt and so come to the city sometimes for dogs and cats as those are easy prey,it really isn't dangerous as they are scared of us but like in every 2,3 years my school gives out warning of a possible if a leopard has come to the town

Because most Asian families if not all use dogs as Guard dogs, that's why they are kept outside. Here in Philippines Majority of dogs are kept outside as Guard dogs. The only ones who kept their dogs inside are rich people with high class dogs. After all, dogs are bred for utility such as Guard dogs. It was only later that Dogs became more of pets. And pretty much there is difference in western and eastern mentality on treating animals.

There have been incidents in our village where this happened and so I know a human can kill a leopard with bare hands
Notice the camera was moving, the focus was changing. This was not from a static security camera. The person filming it allowed it happen. Part of me wonders if this was just really rough play by two animals who knew each other. However, seeming real, the cameraman allowed it to happen.
This is honestly one of the most suspenseful animal videos I've ever seen. More like a Horror movie.

How is a leopard's ambush abilities apart from tigers and jaguars? The dog is domesticated and doesn't give a damn about smell. You can clearly see shoes at the door, meaning that's an apartment and stairs to go to other floors. If it were one house, slippers and shoes wouldn't be left in the second floor or higher. They'd be left outside at the front door. And because it's an apartment, the dog that sleeps at the door smells all different scents from many people.

The dog (most likely) died. There is no way a dog can survive being grabbed by the neck by the teeth of a leopard with blood splattering everywhereand one week after the attack there is no wound and the dog is perfectly active as reported by a Himalayan news report. It seems the owners have or found a similar dog to not create panic for the other locals in the area. Theres a reason for why the leopard grabs its prey by the neck. We also see the video conveniently cut off after the home owners come outside but stay at the top of the stairs. No move is mde to pursue the leopard, a predator.

Dogs are sensitive animals... Even just a little creak from a wooden board will make them alert and wide-awake. Its amazing how this leopard managed to silently sneak up to the dog at a very close range without disturbing it👀

The cat was taking it 1 step at a time and paused in-between them. So it was like it was never even there.
