#1 addendum: never spend directly from salary account! Other than salary account, I have a spending account, an equity account and an account for MF SIP! Debit cards for all accounts are disabled except spending account! Similarly, keeping cheque book for only the spending account! So, if I earn Rs. 100 monthly, I put Rs. 30 in spending account and transfer major amounts to other accounts! What is left in my salary account is my credit card spending limit for that month!
#4 addendum: keep your credit card limit less that your monthly salary! My credit card limit has been the same for the last 16 yrs & it is almost half of my monthly salary!
SUMMARY (if you don't have time to watch) 1: Automate your savings 2: Abstain from spending money 3: Use UPI instead of credit cards 4: Use credit cards only if you have 100% to pay back 5: Make a shopping list 6: 30-Day rule 7: Prefer renting over buying 8: Buy larger size of everything 9: Buy online in incognito mode 10: Repay loans as soon as possible 11: Buying insurance early life 12: Developing a financial budget 13: Use deal and discounts Hope it helps

wish i had u as a teacher during school days! i feel i've learnt so much more just watching your videos than spending decades in school and college. financial discipline should be a subject with great importance in schools!
No one teaches financial literacy in schools and colleges. Many people try to be oversmart and ignore good practices and advice from wise people, landing up in soup of debt trap.😂😂😂 Then they cry of making no saving. I say, practice discipline and inculcate forced saving of atleast 20% after EPF deduction of around 10% of salary. Making yearly budget made my best decision best ever. Make track of expenses, earnings and taxes from the beginning of financial year. Don't be too lazy in this regard.
5star ratings for that stuff Warikoo Sir. I will try to follow one day fasting (no spending for a day) with my family. That's a great way to understand value of money. and the bonus tip was the best👌 Blessed to have you as my mentor for life!!!🤗
Knowingly or unknowingly we Indian used to follow most of the tips. Times changed western khayalat aane ke baad hi overspending and credit card wali life shuru hui hai. Waise Warikoo Sir aap explain bahut acha krte hai, love ur videos 👍🏻😊
Hii Ankur I want to share my today’s story. First I want to share that I kept trying to buy Udemy digital marketing course which price continuously increases whenever I check. But today I’m watching your this video and you said to buy the course in incognito mode and after that I think to try that and trust me it’s worked. I buy Digital Marketing Course in Just 449rs Only Thanks a lot, sir you save my lots of time and money because I was planning to buy this course in Dewali Offers Soo Thanks a lot and it’s my first comment on your video but I’m watching your videos since starting and I watched your every video. Liked the "Brat wala" idea. Just want to share that, we are advised, not to spend money on 'Thrusdays' as it is the day of Goddess Laxmi. We do Brat on that day😊. Thanks for the vedio, it is informative.

Thanks Ankur for some very sensible advice. JUST ONE POINT. My daughter had taken a home loan of Rs 72 lacs in Sept 2020. She has reduced it to 60 lacs by paying extra lumpsum of about 10 lacs alongwith EMI. Her EMI remains the same in which She is regular but period of repayment has decreased by several years. I had been suggesting to her to invest the excess money She saves in mutual fund sip for 5 years or so and then deposit in home loan as that way She would reduce Her home loan faster. Now I am confused... What to do? How is the excess money She has deposited applied. What is the right way?
I learn a lot from your video sir, but now a days i i feel Earning extra money is big concern in society. Before investing earning is important .if possible suggest a way to earn extra income from practical way . Lots of love ❤️🙏🏻
HELLO ANKUR, THANKS FOR VALUABLE CONTENT, NOT ONLY FOR THIS VIDEO BUT ALL THE VIDEOS. FOR THIS SPECIFIC VIDEO JUST WANT TO ADD 1 POINT OVER YOUR 15TH POINT, LIKE BANK GIVES YOU INTEREST EVERY QUARTER AND IT'S CREDITED IN OUR BANK ACCOUNT AND IT MAY BE DIFFERENT BUT IF YOU ARE HAVING AMOUNT LEAST AS 10000 RS. THEN ALSO YOU ARE GOING TO GET AROUND 200RS. AND FOR YEAR IT WILL BE AROUND 800 RS. IF 1 CAN SAMRTLY INVEST THIS AMOUNT HE MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE IN HIS SAVING. I AM DOING THIS SINCE LAST 2 YEARS AND IT WILL BE APPLICABLE FOR OTHER MONEY WHICH IS COMING FROM ANYWHERE ELSE APART FROM UR BUSINESS OR JOB,
Love your all videos. 50/30/20 rule sometimes doesn't apply for the people who are hardly managing their needs in whole income. For those people I would recommend zero based budgeting where one can give job to every penny of income and from there he start understanding saving money and keeping their expenses within budget. he may have money in mid or end of month but he will not spend it because that money is already budgeted for some expenses. Infact one can start with zero based budgeting then move to 50/30/20... It will be great if you reply with your expert opinion
I think every other person out there should see your videos because your videos are so informative that can create drastic change in life.. Thank you so much for making such videos for us to grow more in life..
Hello sir, I have graduated in 2021 and now working with MNC with an average package, My parents have certain loan because of me and my siblings education, I want to help them to clear this loan as I am elder one and I even wanna save for my post graduation, I am little confused about percentage of amount can be used to clear loan, saving, and investing.. I am sure there are many viewers who are like me, please suggest some opinions of yours regarding this.. And thanks a lot for amazing videos I also loved your time management course !!! Actually that 30 day rule really works here's an example Few days back I badly wanted to buy a Casio watch worth 14000 rupees but unfortunately I couldn't get it because of lack of money. So when I got the money to buy that watch, only then I realized that I lost interest in that watch infact in any watch

Very nice... i am happy that most of them i am already following like using credit card (if expense is >5K) to create point, and i never default payment, almost generating points about 15K in year :) but i like the idea fasting day
Main 22 saal ka hoon, aur last 1 year se mera 500/month ka sip chal raha hain... Abhi mera ek job laga hain, aur main ab 2000/month afford Kar sakta hoon. Kya better hoga same sip ko modify karun, ya doosra company main new sip chalu karun? Please guide
Thanks for making a new earnings teenagers life a little bit more easier. All 12 points means a lot to me. Only my concern is with the size. I believe perfect size gives best safety. Hope everybody understands.
I have started using UPI at maximum possible rate or with cash and decreasing my credit card use to min. Also, I really liked one day fasting approach. Will try to integrate that in my life. All suggestions were awesome and really helpful. Just a query, i have health insurance from my company. Will it be better to get a seperate health insurance?

Namaste sir! Agar kisi ko savings kadhne ke lia 13 hacks kadhna hain tho woh nehi kadhega savings, jisko savings kadhna hain wog ayse bhi kadhega. But nice video but some points I found out only for rich people
Hi Sir, Many thanks for sharing such focused and clear content. Could you please make a video on NPS (National Pension Scheme), Is it good to invest/save money for retirement through NPS? Thank you!!
I personally think while using UPI people doesn't even realise money being paid out of their pocket, at least for small transactions . Literally, you just have to scan a QR , few clicks & done , there is no pain involved of actually handing over money. But while using credit card, you will at least take a look on the expenses on the billing day. That is the only demerit of UPI for me, as a student.
@warikoo sir - with due respect, i disagree with hack #8. take example of shampoo, tea, hair oil, toothpaste etc. if you compare closely, you'll save a lot if you buy smaller, miniature sizes. plus it's easy to carry. plus lesser regrets if items are lost or stolen :p
1. Automate investments 2. One non spending day. 3. Use UPI not credit cards 4. Use credit cards when you have 100% money. 5. Make shopping list before going to mall. 6. When u feel that the things are essential to buy, wait for 30 days and then decide 7. Take rented cameras. 8. Big sized things shop 9. Buy online in incognito mode from laptop or desktop. 10. Loans should be paid faster and would save interest. 11. Life insurance should be taken. 12. Make a budget for the money. 50-30-20 for salary. 13. Use deals and discounts. 14. Minimum spending is there but focus on income. Enjoyed the video at 1.5X 💀
Sir, 1 question. When we invest in a company like Amazon or Nyka Or Myntra (assume there is a ipo Or stock available), we see that this company is doing very good sales and earning good profit hence we invest in it, but if most of us start shopping the way you have advised (making a shopping list and not buying any extra thing), then what would happen to investors? If we save to invest but the stock itself isn't growing that much because people behavior has changed then .... What do you have to say on this?
Hlo Ankur sir you are a great motivation for me and i always learn new thing day by day from you and it always feels so comfortable connecting to you I have a request please join the series of sandeep maheshwari sir i want to see my both inspirations together please sir whenever you are free please join his session and we'll get to learn more new things 😊
5:50 I don't completely agree with hack #8, if for example i buy more and then suddenly I stop using that product/ want to go for another flavour, then that resource will be wasted. I believe that we should think in terms of resources required right now and not this much about money, as in the end we may end up spending more money and blocking/wasting the resource.
The 50-30-20 rule is not practical in all cases, it is a good equation when the person has started his career or bachelors who earns 25-30k for example. As in later stage for an example a person earns 1 lakh then only 20% saving is way much less in respect to his earning. So this 50-30-20 equation fits only when the salary/earning is on lower side.
Sir i have a question, if I am on fast and i have to travel by public transportation. I have to pay for that how would i do that, because long distance can not be walked for hours and thanks for sharing your experiences and knowledge😍❣❣
3 days back I went to a mall to buy a lower for me and budget I thought is close 600rs only. Went there had ice cream then burger then coke then went to game zone came back purchased fancy t shirt sneakers in the end while I was calculating what I spent it was 2700rs. It is similar to UA-cam you click to watch something and end up watching hell lot of unimportant videos which kills your time slowly however that we do not count in the end of the day 😉

Nice video ankur.
Just one point.
Per unit cost increases with pack size when it comes to coffee😅😅
I do not agree with buying bigger sizes
I have noticed the sachets of tea, coffee, shampoo, conditioners are way cheaper than buying big packets.

5:50 I don't completely agree with hack #8, if for example i buy more and then suddenly I stop using that product/ want to go for another flavour, then that resource will be wasted.
I believe that we should think in terms of resources required right now and not this much about money, as in the end we may end up spending more money and blocking/wasting the resource.

Nice incognito tips. That's really smart.
I have to pay for that how would i do that, because long distance can not be walked for hours
and thanks for sharing your experiences and knowledge😍❣❣
3 days back I went to a mall to buy a lower for me and budget I thought is close 600rs only. Went there had ice cream then burger then coke then went to game zone came back purchased fancy t shirt sneakers in the end while I was calculating what I spent it was 2700rs. It is similar to UA-cam you click to watch something and end up watching hell lot of unimportant videos which kills your time slowly however that we do not count in the end of the day 😉
Thank you so much sir
It's really helpful to me for Can I save my money.agai thank you sir😊😊
