@@ibikeunfolded Hey Unfolded. I remember watching one of your videos and you said the brompton was too slow ? Did you change your mind or. I was thinking about getting a Brompton electric what are your thoughts on this bike and also what model brompton do you ride. Great video.
I like watching your rides. You shouldn't be waking with headaches, take care of yourself. I use a bus or train with my P-line to go on those long excursions for shopping to places like Thornton and Aurora or Greenwood village but i"ll bus to high ground and google trail home if possible. At 71 I find ways to conserve my energy and still ride baby!
Almost everywhere you go here in north america isnt very bike friendly. I live in a small town in a state park with bike trails all over the place, but riding from one trail to another is almost suicidal. Its all about the drivers.
Brian when i was riding bike to drive school bus over 10yrs ago. I used to wear NEOS over boots over sandels. I had to open them up to regulate heat on bus. Which never got warm inside our winters were around 10f during the day. I would suggest over boots over the redwings.
I understand your Brompton hold a sentimental value. Personally I would just ride it to the ground and keep the worn bits as memorabilia as they wear. You might go through a fork or a front frame at some point and it's alright. Make art out of the old bits, they will keep memories alives while you keep enjoying your bike daily. I recently made that choice with my Chpt3 V3. I know it will never be the same as a new one, but it will live its live the fullest. It's not like I want to resell it anyway.
Hey Brian! Great videos, and Im close to having watched every single one of them --- got so impressed with a folding bicycle I bought a Zizzo Ferro and I love it! One quick question -- what is your theme music? It is really cool. All the Best
@@Kleingarten As an owner of a 6 speed, I honestly don't know why the 12 speed? I wondered for what use I had the low gears at first, till I met an extremely steep Danish hill and had to walk on top! But for most - ordinary uses the 6 are enough, as it isn't a Racing bike or an MTB! Finn. Denmark 😊 Eventually a double chain wheel in front does the same.
Hi Brian, I get cold feet very quick. For me end my shoes works neoprene/chloroprene/polyamide material shoe covers the best. My feet staying warm end my shoes staying clean 😏 stay save Brain 🖒love the content!
In Denmark, if a Company is asking for Safety shoes, it is their obligation to provide some for the workers. As a now former Joiner I was obliged to wear those, so once in a while we became offered some new. Did you know that "Chapter3" is a Commercial for a British Brand? I think it is some kind of clothing? Finn. Denmark
is using the rail/bus with brompton as a last mile an option getting to thornton? cost effective? Time effective? Not that i'm discouraging exercise, but just considering alternatives.
Why go to Thornton? Arvada and Wheatridge locations right off bike lanes. Denver and Lakewood look pretty easy too. Lone Tree is not far off light rail. You rode to Waterton, the Littleton location is easier and has bike trails. Are the headaches caffeine withdrawal? Or maybe stress? Agree with the suggestion below where you ride the current Brompton into the ground. Save the money. Also, you have other bikes that can take its place. Cannot remember why the Bromton is so important. Your videos are great and have given please to thousands of people. Please get some rest and give some time to Brian.

Possibly missing something in your diet, maybe get some blood work done.i know your vegan ,might need to supplement whatever your not getting enough of.
For sure. Vegans suffer often from B12 and omega 3 deficiency if they aren't supplementing. This will make you sluggish and recovery will become slower. And trust me if you think you're feeling bad in your 40s Brian. Wait until you're my age 60. You will feel like you've been run over by a truck after a 20 plus mile ride with hills.
First thing to check with headaches is hydration.
Good luck Brian.
I think you are right as I am perpetually dehydrated😬
Sometimes when I sleep in a bad posture (check your pillows!), I wake up with a sore neck... which leads to a headache.

I understand completely… riding through a mine field would be safer than here in Denver.
You're lucky you don't live in London. Rear view mirrors are literally life savers.
Mexico city is not too bad.

There are two things I wish I could change about my Brompton... Belt drive and more gears. I hate chain maintenance in the winter.
What is the material of the Brompton frame protector you’re using I quite like it? 🙏🏾
The frame protector is made from an old inner tube. I asked him in the comments for his video ua-cam.com/video/Jlr1G843GW8/v-deo.html
Nice video! I heard there’s a new 12 speed Brompton out. That could be good for those Denver hills
I also have heard about the 12-speed. It might be worth thinking about it.

Not in America, if they do provide shoes they will deduct it from your pay
Hey Brian, have you tried wool socks? Also, are you still using Schwalbe tires or have you tested the Continental Contact Urban?
Brompt on!
You know it😁👍
I wear ride concepts shoes ,on my second pair. They have held up well.
