  • Before you waste your money and buy an overpriced Pinterest marketing course, like Pinfinite Growth, you must watch this Pinterest marketing video! 2021 Update - • How To Make Money on P...
    Learn the power of pinning, why it is important to your online business and our exact three-phase Pinterest marketing strategy that is generating over 50,000 visits per month.
    Our results are not isolated, either... In December, I taught this exact Pinterest strategy to our mastermind partners in New Zealand and within three months they were able to start generating 6000 unique visits per month and hundreds of new subscribers per month.
    This Pinterest marketing system requires little to no money in order to drive massive amounts of organic traffic from Pinterest.
    In this video, we break down the Pinterest strategy into three specific phases. You will also learn about the Pinterest tools required and the only Pinterest scheduler that allows you to leverage all three phases of this social media marketing strategy.
    The first phase is laying your foundation which includes setting up your Pinterest account, creating your first boards, understanding why Pinterest is important for your online business, and getting your Pinterest account verified so you can be a business account on Pinterest and take advantage of the Pinterest SEO benefits through their rich pins.
    With over 150 million monthly active users, 81% of whom are women, mostly affluent and high online purchasers… Pinterest is a fantastic marketplace to leverage for audience growth and search engine optimization.
    Phase 2 begins Pinterest automation. This is where we get into the tools and marketing strategy that allows you to batch all of your social media marketing efforts for this platform into a couple of hours per week.
    Here is the tool we use for Pinterest marketing automation: www.milesbeckler.com/pinterest
    No one wants to be tied to a social network every day having to log-in multiple times per day to continue to manage their account. Not only is that a waste of time and energy, but it's also incredibly inefficient.
    You will learn exactly the tools we use and how we use them to maximize the leverage for every minute spent Pinterest marketing.
    Phase 3 goes beyond automation into leveraging the audiences others have created on Pinterest.
    This is really the largest growth potential for your Pinterest marketing, but it requires you to have a solid foundation and automation system in place, first.
    You learn exactly how we find and leverage Pinterest group boards that have engaged audiences focused on your niche, to your advantage.
    From the free pin groupie tool... Google 'Pin Groupie'
    To the outreach strategy to the group board administrators and how to make sure that you're becoming a positive contributor to the Pinterest group board instead of simply "spamming" them.
    If you get this wrong, you will be booted from these group boards in an instant and you will not be able to get back in… So this third section is so vitally important to your success on Pinterest.
    When you get this Pinterest marketing strategy working for you, it is so simple that you can literally handed over to a virtual assistant to run for you on a few hours per week. This is exactly what we have done at this point.
    An important reminder is that you want to you take enough time to fully understand the Pinterest app and Pinterest platform, before jumping in with both feet. Start by installing the app on your phone setting up your first account and begin to use the search feature so you can understand how your target customers are using Pinterest currently.
    Your goal is to blend in with what already works on Pinterest. If you come off as a marketer who is trying to leverage Pinterest for your business, you will not get the kinds of results that you can see if you come off as another Pinterest user that other Pinterest users can trust.
    Pinterest is unique because it's not all about getting Pinterest followers… Like it is on Facebook and Instagram.
    You are able to get more reach with your content then you have followers which means it is a perfect platform for distributing content in a method that allows you to grow your audience fast.
    This is why we don't go into the follow/unfollow marketing approach that is so common on many other social networks.
    Marketing with Pinterest has allowed us to recover most of our organic social media traffic we lost with Facebook's recent algorithm changes.
    Now you have literally been handed the keys to the castle for a complete Pinterest marketing strategy you can implement to drive organic users to your website, funnels, affiliate links by simply putting in the work!
    Enjoy and may you have pinfinite success!

But I would of liked to hear a bit more from Miles as I am used to his tempo and the way he explains everything and breaks it all down for us newbie's .There really isn't anyone better! • @MilesB
      @MilesB  7 років тому +1

      I think Pinterest is a great option for you.... And your site looks great. Very clean! I would recommend trying to come up with some fun "DIY" posts for the blog... Yes, it is 'giving it all away' but that gets people more likely to share and read and take action on your stuff... Which makes them more likely to buy from you.
      Pinterest and UA-cam are DIY havens... And sometimes people watch DIY stuff and think "I have to have that... And I have no time" then they can connect the dots that you can do it for them.
      Or, they make it, realize they are a terrible artist, still have the DIY thing pinned and go to you to buy one that looks awesome... lol.
      This channel is a great example... I give away lots and people keep wanting to hire me for consulting, wanting to buy my 'non-existent' products, and they buy the items I recommend... Not because I 'plug' them, but because I've given so much value.
      All in all, keep on the content publishing throttle and commit to being in it for the long haul!

    Hello Miles and Melanie :) Great course - but one question no one seems to be answering, when using Tailwind, HOW do you get a standard cover photo? Or is the photo that appears on your board just the photo from your website? I'm trying to understand how you pin blog posts and have the cover photo like a lot of successful Pintrest accounts have? Thank you

    • @axorex5617
      @axorex5617 7 років тому +1

      i dont know but you surely must be running out of ideas! I still dont get this pinning business. So you sort out your main boards with your own content. and then you pin others content onto these boards? or do you make a seperate board for this

    • @MilesB
      @MilesB  7 років тому

      You can mix your content in other people's content in on your board… The goal is to have the board to be relevant to one thing.
      So for example I can have a camping board, a Jeep board, and entrepreneur board, a tropical beaches board.
      In my Jeep board I'm not only posting pictures of my Jeep… I'm pinning pictures of other jeeps I find on the web and on Pinterest so when another Jeep enthusiast finds my Jeep board they can browse through and look at all of the cool jeeps.
      Same with tropical beaches board... Sure I can post pictures that I've taken from the tropical beaches I've been to, but I can also pin other people's pictures of tropical beaches creating this tropical beach board that others could find and browse to look at the most beautiful tropical beaches in the world all on my board from the pins I've created and pinned from other places.
      You're creating a relevant visual destination for people interested in the topic that the board is on and when they find your board they can re-pin your pins to their boards… This is where they can re-pin Jeep parts to their board to purchase later… And those could have my affiliate links in the description, or a link to my WordPress blog that shows the how to install, etc.
      Kind of an abstract example, but I think that will help

      Hey Miles, got a question for you. A lot of the pins that I could use are posted by my competition, so repinning them to my Pinterest account would be putting a link to their website (I can only change the description, not the link). I was wondering what you do about that, do you Pin it anyway? I've been having luck finding lots of pictures to Pin from Tumblr, where it just links to a blog and not a competitors website. Your input would be really appreciated. Thanks!

    • @MilesB

    Great learning curve Mr and Mrs Miles. You really put value-added insights about how Pinterest works. Can I make a request to both of you? Won't you think that it would be a more profound impact on the beginner's mind to get the whole thing seeing with real-time screenshots rather than hearing an impersonal account of how to do it?

      You could start a business-specific account or you could just move forward as-is, unless the niche is way out of what you want on your personal account... Kind of a personal decision, no real right or wrong. What fits the brand best?

    Great video.
    Question: Why only one main pin in the blog post?
    That is, why not put all 5 to 10 images-each one highlighting a single aspect-within the blog?
    (They can be small and or nestled within the text, perhaps. And this way they can all be rich pins.)
    Thank you.

    Really helpful video and great to see you both passionate and vibing together. The only thing I'm struggling to find out now even though its probably very basic is how do you have an image in a blog post when it is saved to someones pinterest account that the image is linked to your own pinterest account and already contains a description.
    As I have been able to find plugins that allow visitors to save the image but I can't make it so it has a description or linked to a pinterest account, I just rewatched the video and its mentioned that a full size image is first uploaded then resized. How do you resize an image that is already contained within a blog or does Melanie mean that she adds a large version pins it, then replaces the images file with the smaller also. How is Melanie able to have an image uploaded on ask angels when pinned the pinned image is also linked to her pinterest account even though its added to my own board, if that makes sense?
    Thanks for the great video

    • @MilesB
      @MilesB  5 років тому +1

      Pinterest creates duplicates of the images... Your original is in your post... You resize it in WordPress editor. Your pin-it plugin allows you to "Pin" the image from your blog... This creates the link.
      When someone re-pins it, another duplicate is created and it duplicates out the link.
      Play with the pinterest app and website a bunch... It'll make sense. Foreign at first, for sure!

    • @MilesB

      Right on Jim... Pinterest is still a bit of a 'wild west' for marketers which is great. They are more focused on getting their paid ad system working, vs. scaling the number of paid Pinterest advertising customers, so the organic reach is still huge.
      Won't be this way forever, especially now that I'm blowing up the spot! :D hahahaha.

    Hi Miles and Melanie. Thank you for sharing great content again!
    Some bloggers recommend using Pinterest as your main SEO tool instead of Google. They find rich keywords in Pinterest, create a pin and from that pin they create their blog post. Would you say it's viable and try it or would you stick to Google SEO and create a pin from your blog post?

    • @MilesB

    Awesome insights as always! If I want to use affiliate links for my pins do you think that would be smarter to put the affiliate link directly in the pin description or is it better to link the pin to a blog post (review) which will contain the affiliate link? I'm hesitant to post amazon product images on my pins due to possible copyright infringements (wondering if is it allowed by Amazon TOS?). But I can't afford to buy every single product I'm interested to promote so personal photos of the products are out of question :/
    I also read somewhere that if you repin other people pins and they don't own the rights for the pictures your account can be suspended or closed exactly like theirs. Could you confirm if this is true?

    • @MilesB
      @MilesB  7 років тому +1

      So you are asking some very specific questions that you need to reference the terms of service of the platforms to answer...
      If you want to be super safe, linking to your blog post that does a review is going to be the safest...
      And you get the SEO value too... This is what I'd do.

    This was extremely helpful! I've had an etsy business for over a year now and I've been working hard on making it look professional. Now I'm focusing on marketing and I'm starting with Pinterest. I'm having trouble figuring out the board organization. I know it's different for everyone, but I have a few questions:
    1) If I have multiple boards for my own products that link back to my etsy, and I have to engage in the pinterest community by repinning their things and stuff, then I would like to have a separate board for just the repins. I don't like the idea of mixing my things with their things. But I know you mentioned that it's good to mix?
    2) If I have some pins that fit into multiple boards, would it be ok to repeat pins? For example, I do custom decals and I have a lot of military decals. I am making a board for military and further making sections for each branch (unless you think it's best to make a board for each branch, I didn't hear you guys talk about sections so I'm a bit confused), but I also want to make a board for MILSO (military significant others) which is popular on pinterest. I want to repeat like 1/3 of the pins from military board. Would that be ok to do or does that impact me in any way?
    I'm sorry for the long questions, but I'm really hoping for feedback. I'm working on this currently and want to start off on the right foot.
    Thanks!!

    • @MilesB
      @MilesB  6 років тому +2

      Glad you found this Jennifer! 1) We have some boards that are 100% our content... But we have other boards that are kinda-related to our niche that is a mix of our stuff and others' stuff... So in a way, do both. People will be more receptive to you joining group boards if you have a 'mix' of things on your pinterest profile vs. just one board with all your stuff.
      2) Totally ok to re-pin your stuff to other boards!

    Question about the rich pins. You stated "create like 10 per article". Do you use the same wording on each and change out the photos, or do you have 10 completely different custom images per article? Also, how to do you make them rich pins without adding all 10 images to the article, or do you replace each rich pin in the article periodically? Any examples you can link me to?
    Again thanks for all the help you give us here. I have been watching these vids religiously and appreciate all you do!

    • @MilesB
      @MilesB  6 років тому

      It is highly template driven, so there are a few backgrounds, a few colors and a few calls to actions (and fonts) that all get mixed up. I upload them directly to Pinterest and add the rich pin text after!
