Thank you so much! I was able to understand within your 3 minute video compared to other longer videos online that just ranted on and only 'beating around the bush'!
Thanks so much! I was really confused between the difference of Law of Segregation and the Law of Independent Assortment, and watching this video and your video of the Law of Segregation, really helped clearing it up for me!
Bro im writing an essay on this for school and holy crap did this help me understand it so much better! Definitely helped with my writers block lol. Thank you, you are a life saver!
This is really an important video for class 10 students.Although the definition of law of independent assortment is mentioned everywhere, but how it actually takes place, how the alllele with would not be interlinked, Criss crossing of genes were very important to understand the concept , which the video explains in an easy way
Woah, thank you so much for this! I was really, really struggling to understand this concept so thank you for speaking clearly and with uncomplicated jargon/sentences (:
Hi, could I ask if independent assortment occur in metaphase 2 as well since there are different possible arrangements of non identical sister chromatids( due to recombination during crossing over) during metaphase 2 of meiosis 2 ?
Hello and thanks for the video. One thing that remains unclear for me though is the combination of Aa Bb. Are we talking about two genotypes or one genotype? I understood it such that Aa is a combination of two alleles, resulting in a genotype? Here it seems that AaBb is a genotype?
Thanks ; I Just Thought the Same.. The Genes Must Be present On Unlinked Chromosomes For Explanation of mendel 3rd Law!! But this Concept wasn't mentioned in my textbook!! Thanks For Confirming my inference ✅
This is not a dihybrid cross. This is an explanation of the theory that shows how you create gametes. The example I use, with two genes, is an example of a dihybrid organism- heterozygous at two genes. A dihybrid cross is a mating event between two organisms that are heterozygous at two genes: AaBa x AaBb. If you would like to learn more about a dihybrid cross- here is a video I made that can clear it up for you: ua-cam.com/video/fe5kSSs83qc/v-deo.html
