- EASY SUPER MOIST CHOCOLATE CAKE. Full recipe video.
Cake:
2 cups all purpose flour
3/4 cup cocoa powder
1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 1/2 teapoon baking soda
1 tsp iodized salt
2 cups brown sugar
1/2 cup corn oil
1 tablespoon plain white vinegar
2 cups room temp water
Frosting:
2 1/2 cup heavy cream
2 cups dark chocolate chips / chopped chocolate
1/4 cup salted butter
Tips:
• you can also turn this recipe into cupcakes. One recipe will make 2-3 dozen, 3oz cupcakes.
• no oven? Steam it for 25-35 mins or until almost firm.
• the recipe has NO EGGS, to keep the cake softer and fudgier (resistance-free).

I just made a chocolate cake using this recipe, and it’s the best one I’ve made so far! I used dutch-processed cocoa powder for the cake, and used Callebaut for the ganache. It’s so rich and chocolatey :) I love it. I’m surely gonna make another one in the future, but im gonna tweak the ganache to make it much thicker.

Hello chef, i'm new to baking. I tried this moist cake. My first cake actually. I followed every steps even the "maturing the cake part". Though i used different choco brand, it turned out delicious. The sweetness was just right. The cake and the ganache had a perfect marriage. My fam and friends loved it. Thank you for this recipe. I will try your other baked goods soon.

After watching your recipe with my husband I decide to bake again after 1 yr. I always decline my husband request of the desserts I bake. I guess when pandemic happen and got busy working in ER at night and a mom during the day I lost the passion to bake.

I appreciate your explanation about compound chocolate, why we have to cook the ganache first, how one block of butter is 1 cup for easy remembrance, and the simplest way to bake the cake (lalo na ang paggamit ng tubig na malamig o mainit to get the cake that I prefer).

I remember making this kind of cake a long time ago, 30 years ago. It was called Wacky Cake because there’s No butter, eggs or milk. Then the wacky ingredient - vinegar. Just as good as the rich Chico cake. Made this immediately with my apos. They gave it a thumbs up. Chef RV explained very well what was to me a mysterious cake. Thanks Chef.
This recipe is worth to try. Had my 2nd batch of the recipe and I’ll gonna make this again and again. I just preferred without the glaze. Cake itself is good enough.

1 chilled all purpose cream ( or heavy cream/whipping cream)
1/2 cup chocolate chips (melted)
1/4 tsp coffee (optional)
> whisk all purpose cream via mixer till fluffy , then gradually add the melted (cool) chocolate & coffee.

this recipe is legit easy to make. all the ingredients are all available in the kitchen plus less cost kc no milk and egg. pro ung result the best. super moist. I tried cooking it by steam and oven pro both are super moist.
