Snakes are amazing creatures. I used to be afraid of them until I did research for a college class. They keep mice, lizards, and insects in check. Also, they are not usually aggressive unless startled or cornered. Very few are venomous. In all of Spain, there are only 5 species of venomous snakes. And Spain averages just 3 to 6 deaths by snake bite each year. I do agree with you that they need to be away from homes. Very happy to know your contractor placed them in the countryside where they will like it much more. I’ve enjoyed watching your remodeling. I would also enjoying watching more of your daily life in Spain, in particular things like shopping for groceries and buying services, like spa and beauty treatments. Thanks for sharing your expat adventure with us.
I adore your updates, thank you for sharing. Your oasis is beautifully coming along Lesly, it gives me inspiration. My guess is the front door will be a pastel pink :)
Looking so good so far can’t wait to see it finished, you must have great patients coping with the dust and the chaos 😮 I think the front door may get a touch of purple 😊
Wow it’s all coming together beautifully, looking forward to next phase video. Hope it’s soon !!! LOL I’m going for a blue front door guess Best wishes x
Hang on in there Lesley it will all be worth it! Tiles and kitchen layout are great. Liking the replacement table and chairs in the garden. The log burner and front door are going to look fantastic! I would go for the turquoise choice for your retro fridge freezer. Looking forward to part 3.
You are giving me great ideas for my future home in Andalucia! I am planning on retiring there from the United States in large part because of my financial situation. It's so much less expensive there than it is in the US that I can have a comfortable retirement and own my own home outright! Also, I'm just excited about the prospect of moving to Spain!
@@olivegrovesandgrapevinessp7293I'm so looking forward to being there. I'm hoping to find a house with an outdoor area as nice as yours. You are doing such a great job refurbishing your house. You have great vision.
Nice place! I want to buy a home in Spain (Italy, France, or Portugal) for under €70K after all taxes & fees that is move-in ready. Preferably, within a 2 to 3-hour drive from Barcelona; with, a minimum of 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms-a balcony and/or terrace would be ideal for something in a town/village or a country home with some land.

That’s good to hear. It’s certainly inexpensive to live here in andalucia. You can have a great life spending very little.
