🎉❤ Hi we’ve just found your videos! Brilliant 🎉, we love your home/project! We’re currently looking in the area where you live, planning our retirement home, keep up the good work
You really have to make sure (the lawyer that is) the cadastral details match what you are actually buying! My house had never been registered neither house nor land - took 2 extra years and several thousand euros extra to have it legalised correctly. My lawyer was priceless during the process.
Thanks for this video, very interesting good advice and it helps to know things such as this. on a side note, may I recommend you put the websites you referenced in the video in the description box so what we can all go to those links you recommend. Many thanks for this informative video.
As a non EU or third country individual you can’t stay more than 183 days in a financial year in a Schengen area EU country otherwise you would have to become a tax resident, apply for a visa and make that country your permanent place of residence. This means the 90/180 day rule to stay as a tourist without the need for a visa is virtually the same number of days anyway. It shouldn’t deter you from buying a holiday home.

Maybe a daft question but would you need to worry about freehold or leasehold situation ? Thanks for the video by the way superb advice 🙏👍
Glad you have found it useful. Inland where I work everything is freehold. I can’t be sure about other areas of Spain or new builds.

Do they investigate if the property has any debts?
Yep the Nota Simple shows this. Your lawyer will check it too .
I'd be reluctant to but a proptery abroad that i can only visit 90 days per every 180 days.

Not many working people get 3 months off a year so it’s good enough for me 😊
Just get an excellent lawyer
