RIP John. Will be deeply missed, thank you for your sacrifice and the gifts you’ve given the fitness community with your knowledge and positivity. This workout is for you today.
@@redlinefitnessx With the money he’s making on his supplement and YT businesses, he might not have time to coach too many, single session walk on is probably a “no go” for him. I think someone like Charles Glass charges several hundred per session for his long term customers.

These are bit more bulky than traditional dumbbells but the rubber grips are great for keeping hold. Very comfortable and the weight selection is convenient and easy.
Amazed that you recovered so well after recent bout with major health issue Would enjoy knowing how you mentally handled that and anything you can share physiologically to support maintaining mass Congratulations
Mountain dog fever in full effect at my gym. Told a few people about the channel after someone asked me why I leg curl before heavy squats. Now the whole gym is doing cage presses, meadows rows, slight decline DBs, etc. spreading like wild fire!
Thanks for this. Just in time for the gyms to open up again in the UK. Hoping the Power Push workout makes it to our screens soon. Thanks for all the advice.
I'd guess that 5 reps @ 65%1RM should only be an RPE of around 2 or 3 (essentially too low to even think in terms of RPE) for the first set, but that metabolic fatigue should give a nice burn by sets 5 and 6 with only 60 seconds of rest
@@TCraig00 I'm a natural and using his programs. And they are working great. But you got to use the rpe's correctly and possibly take 1-2 weeks at the start to asses tolerance
Did this today , have to say its a killer but really enjoyed it .traded the last set for a few DIPS and some bent over tri extensions, as in the vid probably didn't need them but it felt nice to round it off on something isolating
Don’t have push day until tomorrow, but I’m gonna give this workout a shot! Thank you so much for all the amazing information. You have saved me a lot of hassle
Loved the workout, modified/added a few things. Got a couple little bruises from the pump about 2 inches from the elbow. This is my new Wednesday workout.
John you are really awesome man glad to see you are healthy and still providing great content. Would love to see maybe some ideas for workouts on days when you are pressed for time but still wanna get a workout in.
Awesome push workout M Dog I just finished mine it felt great and also I was watching a Dave Tate Q&A and Dave mentioned he's working on a program with you I'm super excited for that keep on doing what you do it's much appreciated!!👏👌👍💪😎
I've been trying out supinated grip for the tricep press exercises (pressdowns, overhead extensions, etc). It's a bit harder to hold onto the bar, but for me, it feels like I'm getting much better tricep contraction and it's really easy to keep my elbows at my side. I might even have to use wrist straps since your grip is pretty horrible that way though... even with noticeably lighter weight than a pronated grip.
These are interesting. I will have to adapt a bit as my gym is very small and we don't have all the equipment, but I am interested in results and I want to add some power building workouts :) Thank you for this workout, John! I would like to know how you keep your rotator cuff in such good shape someday.
John please tell me this video means you are training back and biceps today, would love to see the pull version of this tomorrow! Also cannot wait for the PowerBuilder program you and Dave are collaborating on, will purchase as soon as it drops.

As a Turk and a resident of Turkiye, I respect Mr. Meadows demeanour as well in the fitness industry. ;)

‘These aren’t gunna be brutal sets’. Looks brutal. Ok well I need to train harder then haha.

The weights that John used for his feeder sets are the same weights I used for my 1 rep max 😣 I’m an old man but still got some work to do.

pull, then off

Gonna miss your content, buddy.

Rest in Peace John
The motion direction of an excercise determines push or pull but either way, technically a muscle only pulls.
Never been so early
Me neither
John do you think..Is it best to add in some rear delt work as well somewhere in between the workout?
Or would that just be overkill?
The initial sets of 6 perfect sets before progressing, sounds very JM Blakely-ish 😉
Nah its a dynamic effort bench workout
RIP John, you are missed
Thoughts on adding a rear delt reverse fly or are the rear delts worked already before? Will be trying the workout next week cheers : )
we put them on pull day this time
Will the new program focus on deadlifts also?
Hello john you do feeder sets on the leg curls when you work your way up ?
