Hope you enjoyed this! If you're looking for the 3D models I used and designed. The link for them is here: knarbmakes.com/listing/industrial-silo-kit?product=953
The silos/water tanks look great. I especially liked the chicken wire cage for the ladder. It's seems more in scale than the plastic curlers I've seen used.
Thanks Sven. 3D Modeling this type of stuff is a lot harder than it looks, lots of respect for all the stuff you've made! Got a lot of inspiration from how you make it.
Impressive results! Seeing the models primed in gray really showed off the details. These could have easily been included in cinema quality model scenes but withe the bright color scheme you chose, they are perfect wargaming terran.
*KNARB* Just a little tip for you - the next time you want to paint anything yellow, undercoat in PINK ! I know it sounds odd, but I was told this tip about 30 years ago and it really does work - don't have a clue why, but it totally obliterates any other colour from seeping through, and gives a great base for the yellow. Hope this helps.
awesome work, although I prefer the more traditional way of scratch building in your videos. But it's a very nice move to give your designs away for free (wait , they are not free... but I guess it's fine to get something back for your work.) Keep it up!
In response to Kellerman, embrace the Heineken (seen the cans before in videos, which means its common in your household) - and if you had to pick a 'mass market' import beer at your local Beer Store, you could do worse than Heineken - but extra likes for the Tuborg. Without access to 3D printer, I'll be spending my weekend trying to figure out how to duplicate those bits in foamcore and chip board . . .
Bon courage
It looks very good, weathering especially, but why bother with coffee sticks and cocktail pipes when you could just 3d print all of it? Btw, what 3d software was it?
The sticks give a lot more structural strength than plastic for the size in certain orientations. Also, it cuts down on plastic usage. Feels a bit silly to print sticks.... When you can just use sticks. Cheers!
The weathering is awesome! Great job all round! Time to get a 3d printer :) I'm sure you've mentioned this before, but what model printer have you got?

I love the connector idea, like a grimdark K'NEX
Thanks! Probably could have used more beads, now that I think of it.

Man you are the flat out best at Warhammer 40k terrain building. Thanks for the instructional vids Knarb keep doing what you're doing!

First saw it on Dark Matter Workshop's builds, works so well. I've been using every excuse to craft with them since.
Your channel is just the best. I’m making some of your ruined buildings now, literally coming on UA-cam right now for your videos and see this. 🙌
Awesome! Let me know how the building turn out. Cheers!
Mate, I am watching all your videos right now. Your channel is definitely underrated and need more subscribers. Keep up the good work!
Wow! Cool idea and execution.
Nice work, I love the look of the stick-connectors.
I have somewhere in my sketchbook a simmilar idea noted down but never got around to make it.

Digging your channel my brother! Great ideas, and a nice pace without being extra 👌 keep it up!
Thanks so much!

Thanks so much! Yeah, the bright paint scheme is necessary to make things stand out sometimes.
Nice ! Great paint job 👍
Thanks! I was thinking of you as I was cutting the chicken wire.
Turned out great! Like the chicken wire idea and rust effect 👍
Thanks! 👍
Great project with great files to improve my terrain! Now I have a good reason to drink more beer!!
Thanks! Works with regular soda cans too :)
Awesome video and the terrain turned out fantastic! Its awesome to see how a 3D printer can elevate the detail on terrain!
Thank you very much!
Looking fantastic 👍
Woow! This looks fantastic
Your channel really can't grow fast enough xD Great stuff as always
Thanks a ton!
Beautiful craftsmanship
Always a good day when these videos drop!
Thanks Omar!
Excellent. All the best.
Thank you! You too!
That’s a great idea mate!
Thanks!
Looks great! Makes me wish I had the time to invest in a 3d printer.
These look fantastic! I love the notion of designing one’s own 3D bits. I hope I get the opportunity at some point. :)
Fantastic! Thanks for such an inspiring video.
Fantastic work man!
Great video work - just finished it
Thanks for the painting tips! Cheers.
Oh I love these!
great work! I like it very, very much!
Liked, subbed, and bought STL
Thank you I am looking forward to starting this project
Thanks! Let me know how it goes.
Great kit! Well worth $3, looking forward to building a few of these. Cheers!

Nice work sir
Good stuff! Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it!
10k subs I see :D watching it now!
This was very cool.
They really should just make the accelerator in dropper bottles. I use the spray tube the exact same way! These look great.

You had me at "Rusted".
Love "Gently press that like button" as opposed to "SMASH THAT LIKE BUTTON!"
Right? We all just need to calm down with the smashing/destroying that poor button.
@@KnarbMakes I may have to borrow that phrase when I return from my hiatus. If you don't mind!
wonder what it would look like with the can part left viable
That's some nasty lookin' terrain.

Again.

Hey u got a link? , or specific gauge for the chicken wire trying to find a small amount of the right size wire ...
I got it from my local hardware store. Garden section. Half inch chicken wire mesh

I have an old mono price mini (Don't buy this one, it's not the greatest) Get an ender 3 or a Prusa if u can for FDM printers.
