Sansa and Theon were the two most evolved characters. They both went from being these superficial, spoiled children to being damaged and broken by the same type of people. They helped put each other back together.

I think Theon really could have been the perfect companion and soulmate for Sansa. Unlike other people such as Tyrion and Jon, Theon doesn't have any great responsibility or ambition, apart from his deep guilt towards the Starks and his wish to help and protect Winterfell. I always thought he could become a minister or bodyguard of Sansa, at a time when Arya is gone travelling and there's not a single person left whom Sansa can 100% trust and emotionally rely on. Not to mention that Theon is a Greyjoy known for *cough* amazing skills in bed *cough* . He'll probably be a better lover at night than Grey Worm, just saying lol
@@queenning28 well theon got his d cut down, but like he still got a few fingers (most of them also got cut down) and tongue left 😂😂😂😂😂 but yes, emotionally he would be the perfect match for Sansa :(

Theon was a character so brilliantly portrayed as someone who had been completely broken and felt agonising regret for the things he did. Due to that pain was why he had to die the way he did

I wish he survived. I mourn his death the most... and their relationship with Sansa, even though I never thought of it as a romantic one, was beautiful. I am so sad it ended this way.

That moment when he went back to Winterfell during Season 8 and Sansa crying and hugging him was so emotional. They’ve been through so much. They were both bent and broken but they kept going. Her and Theon would have been a great pair.

If he had not turned on Robb he probably would have ended up married to Sansa and would have been head of Winterfell by her side. So if you look at it he did all that he did because he wanted to be a Stark and wanted to have claim to Winterfell. So basically he did all that he did for nothing. Had he remained loyal, he probably would have gotten all that he wanted and would have been happy with Sansa.
Or he could just die with robb during the red wedding
@@magdalenapodgorska639 so true everything concerning the Starks (that were alive for the biggest part of the show) before the red wedding needed to happen or they wold have been there (Sansa not escaping kings landing with the hound or Arya being captured and working for Tywin ...)

When Ramsay's body isn't found,
Jon increases the guard knowing Ramsay would wait awhile before going after Sansa.
Theon tracked Ramsay down and all the pain, humiliation and rage caused by Ramsay's mistreatment of Sansa Theon kept inside explodes. Through sheer anger Theon beats Ramsay down; barely conscious.
Ramsay's dogs surrounds Theon and Ramsay who commands them to kill Theon
While kept in the kennels Theon established bond with him and the dogs. Theon says 'You haven't fed them in 7 days." The dogs maul Ramsay and eats him alive.
In the Great Hall of Winterfell, Sansa and Jon see a small wooden chest on the table.
Jon opens it to see Ramsay's head and a note: "Winter Is coming, we do not sow for what is dead can never die." Jon and Sansa smile knowing that Theon killed Ramsay.
