My mom give me one of these when i was 16 back in '97, I begged and conviced her to co-sign on a toyota truck for me because the Datsun wasn't "cool enough".... What I wouldn't give to have that car back. :( Great job on the build man.
Beautiful build man like to see the old datsun's come back especially when there well done like yours, i see your from Clackamas, don't live there but know the area a little i live down in Medford.
Awesome video but more so awesome ride! I'm curios to know how easy of a swap the KA24DE was into your 610? I'm currently debating such a swap into my B210. Great video! Cheers!
Nice Build! But I hope you didn't have to mess with the suspension too much with all that HP. I drove a number of 510, 610, 710's. Killed and rebuilt a half dozen L16, L18 and L20's. Of them all I loved my 2 dr 610 the most, It handled like it was on rails on the street and "rallied" circles around any 510 because of the 4 wheel independent suspension. After carb tweaks (old school quad Webers) and a 5 spd from a 200SX and that 610 with an L20-B(rat) actually blew the doors off B body 5.0 Mustangs in the mid 1980's. --anonneemouse -- (nice handle -not-) your first statement, trash a 610 to upgrade a 510?? -you Fool (trying to be P.C. ), 610's may have been a little heavier (maybe a couple hundred ponds) but had the same engines, were far better built, didn't have half the issues with structural rust and had vastly superior suspension. As for your comments about the 2.4,,, just what kind of oil filter are you using and have you never heard of an Oil change? FOOL !

@dashiznit89 not that hard to adapt a KA to a 240z i suggest to go on hybridZ.org forum and search a thread you will find a lot of info you need, it's been done before many times.
