BMW E46 330ci M54B30 Turbo Power Run on Dyno

BMW E46 330ci M54B30, fitted with turbo kit and running on stock MS43 ECU, in for some initial tweaking, and data logging before full tuning session.
After some logging, we found the car needed a bigger charge cooler before we can turn the boost up....

what's been done to the engine? is it still stock or forged?

Forging is always the best option, but these engines can handle low boost turbo conversions without even being opened up (around 7psi safely and reliably). There's a ton of info available on forums of what people do to them and it's well worth finding out what others have done for inspiration, then go your own way from there, like anything you can keep throwing money at it all day long but these engines don't necessarily need that, they are very reliable if you keep on top of a few things and upgrade some minor flaws that can turn into catastrophic failure, you really don't need to break the bank honestly.

@@MDM1992 I am looking for 8 or 9 psi on my M52tub28 with decompression plate (8.5:1) and arp studs. Basically i want it reliable and under 450nm. What do you think?

@Carloza Its a clubsport wing. I wouldnt have any doubt in my mind its OEM considering its a UK car.
