I am a class 12 student from a lower middle class family from South India hoping to study in the US on a scholarship......I was very excited when I saw the introduction to your program on you site. I was very eager to enroll in your program since I really liked the way you explained the concepts on UA-cam. But the pricing was like a gun shot to my head....I guess 1000 dollars is reasonable for students from the US, but that amount in rupees is equivalent to 3 years of the fees at my school. Sadly I had to give up on my interests in joining your program. It would be greatly appreciated if you could offer a scholarship or some sort of a waiver for ambitious international students who are financially underprivileged :)
@@astpg Quick info. 1000 Dollars isn't reasonable in any country, neither in the US or India. 80,000 rupees is ridiculous. However, he offers quite a lot of free resources and there are others online. Research will really save you. Good luck on your SAT and just know what your doing is doable, many people (Like Me) have taken the SAT by studying by themselves, and using it to gain scholarships etc.
Hey John! Great compilation. Similar and congruent triangles and fractional exponents are showing up so much on recent tests! Great to see that you're using the QAS data to target important content.
thanks for these they are really calming my nerves, i've been very anxious even though i've studied so being able to get these right is helping me feel more confident
For those confused on the last question: =⁴√(x⁶) =⁴√(x⁴ •x² ) = ⁴√(x⁴) • ⁴√(x²) = x • ⁴√(x²) Hope that makes sense, he split up the x⁶ into x⁴ and x²... The ⁴√x⁴ just becomes x (seen left of the radical)
I just completed the august sat exam ,and it was unbelievably easy ! i was worried all week for nothing although there was still some hard questions in the English section that require more focus. Thank you so much for all your videos man you don't know how much you've helped me and many others students ! hopefully i get my desired score.
@@battleaxeninja1099 it was indeed "hard"but if u did the practice tests in bluebook u will notice that there were 5 or 4 same questions . In the end, the sat is just a cycle they repeat the same questions
The fact that people in the comments are all here recently and probably have the same day is incredible HOPE YOU GUYS GET A GOOD GRADE AND IF YOU DONT THEN I HOPE YOU HAVE A GOOD DAY 😭✨
9:19 I got the same answer when I factored it out, however, I don't understand why the answer choice you picked is x^4 times the square root of x^2*y^3. Wouldn't it be x by itself? For example, x times the square root of x^2*y^3?
What more do I have to know for the second type of fractional exponents question (the one where the exponent was on the outside of the radical)? Thank you for your videos they've been a huge help!
I got you man, so you know how the x was raised to the sixth power in a fourth root. Well if you just expand the x^6 you get 6 x's. Every time you cross out 4 x's It is equivalent to square rooting it once and so it comes out of the radical.
the coming last min review+shortcuts for nov 4 , please upload a couple days early, because the time does not match, i would like to request so that i could practice for nov 3 daytime as per nepali time or it is similar to ist(indian standard time ) for you to make it easy to look after
Hi, I want to buy your course but the thing is that I'm a foreigner ",i have never taken sat before and my math score is 250 and you said your course can help only students who have above 400 points Should I purchase your course If not how can I improve my score ?
I did a/2-3/2=1(one of the solution when factored) and solved for a to get 25. I know that it’s slightly less efficient but why wouldn’t that method work?

as always, extremely helpful!
Referring to problem 2, just use sine law to check and hence A is also valid.
GOOD LUCKKK
Side side angle also works given that it it’s a right triangle with the hypot and 1 leg given with the rt angle
wait i’m still confused on the exponent question the part where it’s quad root like how did the x exit

⁴√x⁶ = ⁴√x⁴ • ⁴√x² = x • ⁴√x²
Hope that makes sense, he split up the x⁶ into x⁴ and x²... The ⁴√x⁴ just becomes x (seen on the left of the radical)
i'm so fucked
Same
I’m watching your playlist for all the math concepts is that up to date?
Yes, but take out the complex numbers video for DSAT.
@@JohnSAT alright thank you I been struggling on the math so much but your lessons have made me understand so much
i take it tomorrow and didn't study at all
How was it?
I didn't understand the last one, how did it become x Square?
⁴√x⁶ = ⁴√x⁴ • ⁴√x² = x • ⁴√x²
Hope that makes sense, he split up the x⁶ into x⁴ and x²... The ⁴√x⁴ just becomes x (seen on the left of the radical)
is this for the dsat or the normal pen and paper
9 days left until my SAT kinda stressing bad now i gotta improve by at least 150 points in 9 days to get my ideal scores😭😭
9:18 Your answer says x but option a says x to the power of 4?
It’s a quad root, where the four sits in the index of the root
There is supposed to be a 4 in the index of his answer but I think it was a mistake
⁴√x⁶ = ⁴√x⁴ • ⁴√x² = x • ⁴√x²
Hope that makes sense, he split up the x⁶ into x⁴ and x²... The ⁴√x⁴ just becomes x (seen on the left of the radical)
bad way of option setting indeed , i would have given the answer raised to the power 1/4

Can you please do conversions?

Are these patterns of questions gonna only show up in DSAT or will it also be on the Paper version?
Maybe both
But when will John drop the skincare routine??
Thank you man I took the sat for the first time in august and got a 1570 with a 780 on the math section🙏
Can u give advise pls
For the example in 4:47, would it not be D because of the AA postulate? Since they gave us two angles would we still need another aspect?
wait nvm, that just proves they are similar.

I did the same thing but then I realized that it's not factorable
will there be a matching rule sheets on the exam? or do I have to remember it?
memorize it bro you don't get it.
I think he made a mistake on the last problem. He lost the 4th root for the x squared y to the third. So the correct answer is B.
no? why would it be B
⁴√x⁶ = ⁴√x⁴ • ⁴√x² = x • ⁴√x²
Hope that makes sense, he split up the x⁶ into x⁴ and x²... The ⁴√x⁴ just becomes x (seen on the left of the radical)
