Fisher F-PULSE Video Manual How To do a Frequency Shift

To eliminate interference or crosstalk between the F-PULSE and your detector perform a Frequency shift with your F-PULSE.
1. Turn Pinpointer power OFF.
2. Turn your detector ON.
3. Turn Pinpointer ON.
4. Press-and-hold button for 4.5 seconds
to reach Frequency-Shift:
a) Hold for 1/2 second and hear power-down jingle.
• Continue to hold.
b) Hold for additional 2 seconds and hear
program-menu-jingle.
• Continue to hold.
c) Hold for additional 2 seconds and hear
frequency-menu-jingle.
• Release the button.
5. While in Frequency-Shift menu:
• The Pinpointer will detect metal.
• LED will flash continually, twice per second.
6. Quick-press button to cycle to next frequency.
• There are 16 different frequencies to choose from.
• Hear an increasing pitch as you change frequency.
• When pitch changes from high to low, you have cycled back to the first frequency selection.
7. Stop at the frequency that does not interfere with your detector.
8. Press-and-hold button for 1 second to turn off.
• Your frequency selection is saved.
• Quick-press to power-on and continue detecting.
