Fisher 1270 Metal Detector REVIEW

So I have never been known to use my disc up high and cherry pick. Well today I decided to give it a try ! while using the fisher 1270 metal detector it seemed to work great. I dug 17 signals and all were coins except one ! known for being a deep machine and works really good in trashy sites, this detector has proved its reputation to me. I need to work on my silver coin count this year due to not being able to detect much. I'm going to change that and run the fisher 1270 with a high disc and keeping the sensitivity around 6+ and should be able to grab deep silver better then any other machine I have used !

got my first Spanish silver with the 1270 plus a lot of gold jewelry too which is odd.......you need the 1236x2 which is the little brother but lower kHz better silver hunter but just not quite as deep

How do you tell how deep the target is with the 1270?

Cindy Jackson its not easy...of course raise and lower the coil.
, and see where the signal comes in...then turn the sensivity up and down.. And by just using it alot to hear the power of the sound !!!

Jeremiah Martel Thanks for the advice and prompt reply!! I tested it out in the yard today and found a few old nails lol now on to coins(hopefully!!)
