Yup. I 100% this game and seen it all. This game is amazing. It’s also my first experience to this world as I have never watched the movies before this. After I played and finished this game, I bought the complete movie set and have watched all 11 lol. It’s not very often a game amazes me like this one has. The world is absolutely stunning.
I don't know if anyone else noticed this but when you accept the Demiguise quest from the caretaker, he sends you after two statues he knows about in the Hospital Wing and Prefects bathroom. On the way, you will come across two Professors talking in front of a door. Later, with level 3 Alohomora, go back to that door and cast Glacious on the fireplace inside to crawl through to the small hallway with stairs to the right; there's more treasure.
I don't see quest-bound locations as secret locations. I mean you won't miss them if you're just following the quests. There are lots of other secret locations you did not mention like the squid cave for example which is really easy to miss or secret rooms behind fireplaces.
Ok so 1 and 2 are good. 3 is a Playstation exclusive, 4 is literally just a town, 5 is good, 6 is part of a side quest so not a secret, 7 is a house in the middle of a village, 8 is literally just a coastline of the map, 9 is good because you can completely miss this one easily, 10 is also a part of a side quest granted if you take the option. Basically this list is made up of stuff that is either blatantly on the map, or it's just part of quests. What they COULD have put in here is the secret room near the top of the castle with the crystal ball and the werewolf room. Both behind doors that you can't see with magic but rather have to run into them by accident. Let's not also forget the room with the architectural drawings that is behind the fireplace of Professor Sharp's room as well! The fact those three didn't make the list blows my mind.
7:47 This section of the Viaduct Bridge was in the film Goblet of Fire. If anyone has noticed, the Black Lake in the game is actually smaller than the one in the films, especially after watching Goblet of Fire (my favourite Harry Potter film and book).
I like pitt-upon-ford cause the lady there was one of a few that sold the graphorn and phoenix materials before you could get the beasts themselves. Sure helped a lot when every third or so piece of equipment I found was better than the fully upgraded piece I was currently wearing
Easy to missed are islands on lake. And for people who takes only one home is easy to missed diffrent places during Jackdaw's map and Candles Map during them. For example Slytherin Cave under the castle, or Cave under Upper Hogsfield as Hufflepuff. Easy to missed also is opening during night Tomb in Hogsmede (Gryffindor). Owlery is difficult to be missed. Also cave under the water which isn't on map near Lumos Trial of Merlin (under the bridge) north west from Henrietta Herritage
Bottom left of the map there is a purple toad nest but it's actually two nests next to each other side by side so you get double the toads to sell from there, nearby there is planks you can break and get treasure well these plants can be repaired after you break them and if you do a ground opening behind the nests opens up and there is a load screen but there is a full on underground cave filled with toads this area once you capture all the toads you can easily make 3k gold because each toad is sold for 120 gold.
I didn't want to learn the curses for the same reason, but as soon as I heard that I can use the One Eyed Witch passage I immediately found the quest and happily broke into Honeydukes using that passage
@@blion2225 I thought if you learned the curses you would get the bad ending, once I found out that there was no bad ending. I happily learned the curses.
I KNOW. What about the werewolf room or the room with the crystal ball in the windy hall near the top of Hogwarts. Both you find by randomly pressing on a wall that won't even appear as a door with Revealio. Also a great mention is the architectural room behind the fireplace is Professor Sharp's room!
I’m at the point where I’m not even doing the main quests 😂😂 nothing but checking every stone and then once I can’t open anything or go to a certain area. THEN I proceed in the main quest lol once I go a bit, I rinse and repeat
What annoyed me was him saying You wouldn't come across that whole area unless you're following Sebastian's storyline........like uh no sir EVERYONE will come across that area just by playing the MAIN storyline
Not necessarily. You sound like me, a person who likes to actually enjoy all the game has to offer, but I have a friend who focuses on the main story and most of the side quests. However, he will not actively seek out side quests, if it takes him off the beaten path. People like him miss SO MUCH of the game.
Slytherins and Gryffindors won't seek 100% completion. They feel they don't need it or that the reward isn't worth their time. The ones who DO try and complete it 100% are the Hufflepuffs and Ravenclaws.
If you hit all the collectibles and quests, none of these would have been missed. If you just played for the story, I’m sure you missed a bunch of these.
While playing this game, I plan to use ine day to find the demiguise statures and ine day to explore these places. There's a lot to explore and discover in this game and the enemies that pop up seem to be a distraction sometimes 😂😅😅😅
The one place I have been looking for is the hidden staircase, the one with the trick step? Has anyon found it. I know they gave a statement that Hogwarts itself keeps changing so it's possible that the hidden staircase just doesn't exist yet as a plot device to not have to work in a trick step. But was so hoping to find it, the trio used it all the time, I know in Harry's time it was actually a well known shortcut
I go to pit upon ford when I need dugbog tongue for potions, it easy to cast spells on a bridge and use a broom to pickup the ingredients after defeating the dugbog.
I'm laughing at everyone saying casual players would only miss this. I played casually and I didn't miss any of these. And yes casually, all main questions with maybe a total of five sidequests during my initial playthrough. Total of 44 hours by the time I finished the story. Waited six months and then did just enough to "participate" in my OWLS. Personally wasn't a fan of the QTE or minigames or whatever when you first attend classes at the beginning of the game but I would've preferred that over a glorified cutscene that I never even saw my character in of me "taking" my OWLs.
Yall are a little fuzzy on the definition of "secret" aren't you? Almost all of these locations are directly tied to a side quest, and the ones that aren't have either collection chests, demiguise statues, or field guide pages to draw you there. The only one I wasn't aware of is because it was console exclusive.
00:56 is above the trophy room at the very top of the Grand staircase tower.....it's on the opposite end of the hall from the headmasters office 2:10..same general area except this is accessible through the headmasters office....both of these places are only accessible once you get to the Polyjuice Plot quest in the MAIN STORYLINE ( don't know why he is saying it has to do with Sebastian when it does not) 3:34 is a PlayStation only thing (which saddens me) but you can still find the shop in hogsmeade (I think it's just behind the lower floo flame closest to the town entrance) 5:13 is at the very top of the map just left of San Bakars tower (which you go to for the first keeper trial) you can find a demiguise statue there 6:47 he does show you on the map where it is , it's just off the viaduct Court yard but it's also the very bridge you meet with madam kogawa while disguised as the headmaster during the Polyjuice Plot quest 8:09 I forgot it's exact location but if you follow Poppy's quest line (which I highly recommend that you do) then you will be taken to this location 9:31 is in one of the hamlets in Hogwarts Valley... it's in Keenbridge.... 10:56 is easy to locate...it's literally the floo flame and the southern point of the map 12:27 is Manor Cape , southern portion of the map, In the region that I do believe is also called Manor Cape, and that's not the only entrance, you can literally go inside the main manor first and go down some stairs to a locked door and enter there once you unlock the door (basically take his route in reverse) 14:02 is easy. The ONLY way to get to that location is through the one eyed witch passage way which is ONLY accessible once you accept a quest from garreth Weasley, he'll be standing outside the greathall entrance trying to get your attention, once you accept the quest you just go the the Grand staircase to the door that leads to the faculty tower, the statue is hard to miss, then you just follow the passage to honeydukes cellar
You can sell to Penny with a fix percentage (10%) of profit over selling anywhere else.. 60g < 66g 90g < 99g 150g < 165g 200g < 220g Oh and you get a cool complete outfit when you finish the quest.

Well I was more interested in the grounds, towns and mainly the forest than the castle. But after my third playthrough, I did the 100% completion and went through everything the game has to offer 😁
I think you should rename this 10 secret locations casual players miss. Definitely not everyone. And some of these I dont even consider secret to casual players, because a quest is tied to them. Me, and also everyone that I have watched a playthrough online of has seen each and every one of these. This really is a useless video. At least imo.
Its Poppy's quest. He said you miss it if you don't follow her storyline! Which everyone should because it has been my favorite of the relationship quests so far!
Btw selling items to penny is better than to sell it to any other shop owner , cuz penny is very good at selling stuff. If you sell your items with penny‘s help you get 10% more than usual
FYI: the switch version graphics are very obviously a lower quality. When entering your shop in Hogsmeade, you have to hold Y to enter and it can sometimes take a full minute to load (Every single time you enter certain buildings and locations, vs the ps4/5 and Xbox versions there are seemingly no or few loads screens, and the details are far more crisp on other systems...in a way it’s like we got jipped from the true experience because the graphics quality is So different...on Switch it looks like a ps3 game from 15 years ago...
Who else went to a hidden cave by swimming in the lake and finding a spot to dive underwater? You reappear in a cave where it looks like someone used to live.
There is an other way to enter in the headmaster's private room before even you gain the "gargoyle code" You can go there with your broom stick but you still need an Alohomora lv3 to access the rooms.
12:55 you reached the castle there is cave underneath it and you find it through note. Henerietta hideaway , I can’t find a way to go further after the said treasure ,anyone done that? the walls transform and it teleports me back to where i was I fought few inferi and poachers then I can find way to treasure down there, any one done that ? It’s called manor cape .there is Merlin trial above it . It’s in manor cape? Maybe further from where I said next to race trial.
The haunted shop wasn't a secret, it was pretty well publicized that it was a PlayStation exclusive. I don't think many PlayStation players missed it 🤦♂️ also, if you did most of the side quests/ got to level 38+ you saw most of this.
I wish this game was PvP, you should be able to fully become a villain if I want, challenge other wizards and witches would be great, I wanna come back to it, but when I do, I can't last more than 10 minutes before I get bored...
Why does he recommend to skip Poppy's relationship quest story? And can you even skip it and still be able to continue the main story? Poppy's story is quite an adventure and quite good in my opinion. Better than Natty's.
How is your game so bright and lush?! Mine looks flat and not as shocking as you? For example the greenery is saturated, while mine not so much. Is it a filter? The UA-cam compression? I am playing on a Series X using the XBox one version (I switched while playing.)
quick question where is the spider town located and man in webs i guess its not on xbox version or haloween house shop unless its under a different house banner
The town infested with spiders is Aranshire, it's just to the right of Hogwarts on the map. The haunted Hogsmeade quest is a PlayStation exclusive for now.
Bruh no one missed these, other than maybe the first one. Most of them are quest locations. I was hoping to see some secret passages or out of the way subtle puzzles

how is it a day old?
I personally sought out all of the locations that were in all of the films.
if you did a casual play through there really is a lot that you missed but if you were going for 100% completion you didn't miss anything
Agreed, I did the 100% and cleared the map of icons, I highly doubt after that there's anything I haven't done or seen

You missed the room behind the fireplace in the library, just discovered that one last night!
At the very beginning of the video where you go thru the clock door, its in the gryffindor common room. You’re welcome
Thank you!
Thank you, literally the only reason I watched the video and was disappointed when that was not explained.
So if you're not playing gryffindor, you can't get it

I wish this game was PvP, you should be able to fully become a villain if I want, challenge other wizards and witches would be great, I wanna come back to it, but when I do, I can't last more than 10 minutes before I get bored...
I knew most of this already but those who haven't played the game they can learn something
Most*? So you did learn something huh
@@kaybear7216 why are you replying to me
Why does he recommend to skip Poppy's relationship quest story?

The hunted shop is only a deluxe edition PS5 not the normal version

@@flouserschirdwhen did u get it with the standard version? I got the game standard one but don't got that quest how do u get it?
@@jessicablueheart9772 I’m not sure when it pops up but I played it after beating main story
Bruh, i didnt miss sh*t! I platinumed that baby after 110hrs my guy!
Oh never played it
Everyone? I didn’t miss a single one. 😏
Bruh no one missed these, other than maybe the first one. Most of them are quest locations. I was hoping to see some secret passages or out of the way subtle puzzles
if u do all side quests u will see all these areas
8:49 not secret as you go there during the questline to get to the sniggets
Technically that's to get to the dragons
Not to nit-pick but nagini didn’t envenomate snape…. She’s a python
