Crank Case Ventilation | Perkins Engines

Crank case ventilation (CCV) systems are a necessary tool on our engines to release built up pressure that escapes past the cylinders during combustion. If this pressure is not released it can damage seals and gaskets leading to oil leaks. More recently, additional filtration has been introduced into these systems to improve the overall emissions output of the engine and reduce oil mist that can espace through the CCV.
