Oh boy, I can only imagine this has gone cheaper and or way better resolution available, lemme check. thanks for the great video.(update) the camera is now $89.99 from $72.99 and the Googles are $73.79 from $89.99 so pretty much the same for the opposite items, 3 years later.
Excellent setup and video tutorial, thanks!! In the link there is an FPV system setup that I used with my TRX4 Kit. I don't use the goggles but the monitor image is very good and provides less intrusive immerse experience.

Thanks. Yes, this system works independently of the RC's battery. It can also work from rc battery if desired.
Hi. Do u have tha actual video driving RC car with this camera set up? It looks like there will be a lots of signal drop outs and interference. Propably mounting better antenna would help

OSD sends telemetry information to the Goggles via the FPV transmitter. It is added as a layer above the image and displayed in the data.

Can I power the RunCam2 through my rx without the RunCam battery? My rx is 5v.
I believe I will be able to power my vtx using the balance lead from my 4s 2200mah main battery.
External power cord comes out of the box. It works with 5V.

Hey KendinYap, could you please explain what the yellow, red and black cables that come from the runcam are? Would be REALLY helpful thanks. Can I read the yellow cable from a computer ?
2:04 .... The yellow is signal, Black is GND (Ground), Red is VCC (Power Input). A direct connection to the computer cannot be established. A converter adapter is required. RCA to HDMI Converter (Analog to Digital Converter)

Bağlantı kablosu olursa tabi. Video sinyalini alabililmek için bir kablo gerekli. SJ5000 gibi kameraların içinden çıkıyordu. Eken kameralarda var mı kablo bilemiyorum.

Yes, that's the main difference. Another difference is that the propellers are facing backwards, which is beneficial for the camera's framing. The propeller does not enter the frame.@@user-ji9lm8xx3w

Motor and propeller noise can be very loud and disturbing. That's why I didn't connect the audio cable.@@user-ji9lm8xx3w

Please respond I'm trying to upgrade my cheap Spotter FPV that I first bought, it's great for nearby RC action with the minis but I'd like to go crawling while sitting in my car lol so let me know if I'm making a good choice! This is a classic analog system. It is still used. Its range is about 1.5 - 2 km. It was not a significant innovation or improvement for this type of system. You can use digital systems for high quality. (For example DJI FPV system).

FPV sistemlerinde görüntü kalitesi çok yüksek olamıyor. bu sinyal aktarmadan kaynaklanıyor. (HD olan çok pahalı sistemler istisna) . Verici için farklı antenler denenebilir.

Hocam merhabalar , anlık olarak görüntüyü ne kadar uzaklıktan aktarabiliyor. Menzil testi yapma şansınız oldu mu acaba.
Bu 600mW gücünde bir verici yaklaşık 2.53km menzili var. Yıllarca FPV uçuşu yaptım. Ve bu verici ile 2 km ye kadar defalarca uçuş testlerim oldu. 2 km yi geçmedim. Ama FPV vericileri ortam koşullarından çok etkilenirler. Parazit kaçınılmazdır. Bazen de örneğin 1km de net görüntü alırken 100 metrede kötü görüntü olabilir.

It is not possible to see small details from long distances with this camera. FPV cameras are for general viewing purposes.

Thanks for a great video! The setup works fine. I have an issue with my Rancam2 4K. It stops recording at about 8 minutes or just under 4gb (whichever comes first). I tried different recording options, frame rates, formatting the sd card, updating the firmware, but still the same result... Any idea what might be causing this problem?

Hello sir, did you have issues with the vtx overheating? I have a similar setup with a 2S LiPo, and unfortunately, the vtx becomes very hot after only a few seconds of usage.
As I understand it these vtx's were designed to have airflow as cooling, so the vtx is prone to overheat when using in a confined space. I'm thinking to add a small cooling fan with a pigtail for power. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
Heating of the VTXs is normal. While in flight, the air flow provides adequate cooling. It is necessary to cool with Fan in closed environments. A 30x30mm fan will be sufficient.
