Conner Peterson would've been 21 years old by now, his late mother Laci, 49.
Scott Peterson drastically changing his physical appearance, and being arrested with plenty of money and a fake driver's license, makes it difficult to imagine that he's truly innocent.

It's possible he just panicked and tried to run because the media made it seem like he was guilty from the beginning. It was one of those sensational media stories that was intended to take attention from important stuff like the Iraq war.

Yes, I thought about that too, back in the day.
However, a five year old knows right from wrong... and he's at least intelligent enough to realize that going on the run wouldn't look too good... even if he was dumb enough to also (at one point...) entertain thoughts of perhaps a future with his then 'gf', A.F. (which I admire for coming forward so quickly, assisting in shining an additional stark, uncomfortable light on Scott Peterson - whose moral compass seemed to have been malfunctioning for quite some time, already...).

Absolutely. He knows he's guilty of this crime, but he's got zero to lose here. These guys have nothing but time on their hands. He managed to get his Sister in law to fight for his freedom with all she has..........went to law school specifically to win his freedom. They had money- the LA Innocences project agreed to work with her to attempt to get some of these pieces tested AGAIN. This is not a huge disappointment for him as was stated- he knows he did this but he's hedging his bets.... He has no motivation to just sit back and rot in prison. Why not throw it all against the wall and see what sticks.
DNA is going to come back inconclusive due to the age and how long it was under water. There is no reason to test the van or materials that may have washed ashore with the bodies. He's damn glad those anchors didn't surface, that much we know. Crimes happen all over cities- and sometimes at or near another crime and even on the same day and it doesn't mean they are all related. It was shown that the robbery happened on a different day. It's not related to him strangling and dragging his wife out of their home and driving her 50 miles north to dump her in the bay that he places himself at............. He's got some crumb now.... just something to keep him busy. This will never end for him. He will continue to pick the scab just because he can.

And how many times should defendants be allowed to have random items, not linked to their case, be tested? Can you imagine prison inmates just constantly requesting testing and saying, no we don't believe those findings, let's do it again, every few years? The cost would be huge and the testing facilities held up on things they really should be doing.

    @LaciPeterson2002 Місяць тому +1

This is really a no brainer you guys. Based on where the bodies washed up we only have two choices. He did it or he was framed. That's it. If you want to argue for his innocence, you are left with having to explain why someone would hide the bodies for 3.5 months and either hoped or predicted a major storm would hit the Bay Area to help get them to shore so the police could then "get Scott". That is what is needed in order to argue for his innocence if you don't know the (or think there wasn't any) evidence.
Most people don't know all the evidence against him because the DA's office isn't out there advertising it.
Why would they? The only narrative that’s actively being heard/spread is from Scott Peterson’s family.
Many MANY people seemed to have been duped by the Peterson Family's Innocent campaign. It's been going on for two decades and gets a lot of donations.
You can parrot their talking points all you want but you're still left with only two choices at the end. Scott did it or He was framed.
This is why it's pointless to argue with people who've been indoctrinated by Peterson's campaign propaganda. It really doesn't matter.
The jury needed to know who, why and how he was framed in order to not convict him because of the absolute mountain of evidence showing he was the only one left who could have done it.
You can make up more burglars, the boogyman, aliens, anyone you want to.
You still need to explain why the first time in history, the
"real killers" would hide the evidence they are using to frame someone, take the risk of dumping Laci in the bay and her washing out to sea if the goal was to frame Scott. 3.5 months is a long time to sit around and wait for the cops to come and arrest the guy you tried to pin the crime on.
While we are here, I still wonder how the Peterson-framing "real killers" got him to buy a fishing pass with an extra ocean stamp 4 days before he went on his last minute fishing trip because "it was too cold to golf?" Or how they got him to look up currents in the San Francisco Bay 3 weeks earlier on his home computer, or ask realtors about selling the house, selling the car and dumping gasoline all over his boat cover before stuffing it in a shed on the side of his house.
Did they hypnotize Scott and make him do all these things? Make him tell people this would be the first Christmas without his wife? Make him get a PO Box on Dec.23rd, a day before Laci disappeared, so he had a place to forward all his work and personal mail when he left Modesto?
Really, I'd love to know how the real killers coordinated all of this because if you're out here spreading misinformation and claiming he's innocent, that question has to be answered by you, as a jury has already spoken for us.
DNA Testing - Scott Peterson has requested DNA testing and been granted more testing in 2013 and 2019. The judge was extremely generous in letting him have one last fishing expedition and let him retest the duct tape…AGAIN.
