Really excellent video series Andy. I've been watching a lot of your videos lately and they very informative and entertaining. I'm interested in wildcamping but I don't know where to start. Your videos are a godsend.
I'd add to this to take a spare pair of warm socks and change in to 'em as soon as camp is set up... Once wet and sweaty tootsies start getting cold it's difficult to warm 'em up again!
Thanks! Just remember, everyone is apprehensive the first time they go out. Nerves are standard. Get the first one out the way and then the sky’s the limit!
That's great tips! Thanks. Pls do a video about hiking shoes and right socks to keep our feet dry ;-) I had been struggling to find the right shoes ...
Hey Andy ! Can you make an in depth video on what food to bring with you to a weekend trip? I don’t want to invest into cooking gear yet and I’m not sure what food to pack that will travel well/not too heavy/ won’t spoil too quickly ! Thanks !
Hi, check out some of my cooking videos. They also show some of my hacks such as quick cook pasta and cooking microwave rice on a pan. Proper food, cooked quickly using very little gas.
You know what. I prefer just shorts. Quick drying ones and some plastic bags over the socks. Im gonna get wet anyway either via sweating or rain. Grab a cloth and have a wipe down when the rain stops.
You sound just like Rodster, English Prepper. Are you from the same area? Check out his videos and have a listen. Andy I'm new to your videos but I just adore you and your presentation x
Nicely put together Andy… sound advice…. Cheers Mark
Thanks 👍

Those trek poles are never a bad idea to bring along. Great advice here!
And there are some great budget options too so you don't need to spend a lot!
This has been a great help. I'm on my third mountain camp and made too many rookie mistakes 😂
Another really well done video. Thanks for the tips I appreciate them tc have a wonderful week

Useful information 👍
Not sure about the 135kg first aid kit though, I may go for something a little lighter 😉
I told you it was absolutely packed full of kit 😂

I'm sorry I can't save your life as I got rid of 55g of first aid but take this plaster it might hold your face together long enough...

We all have different needs. Work out what suits you.
Probably need to recommend a couple of Sherpas for that first aid kit too! 🤣🤣
