It's been a long road for us Prot Warr in SoD. I knew I was playing suboptimal as all Prot in phases 1 & 2. Phase 3 was a big help with the runes. I'm looking forward to 4.

I will just stay with berserker and with a macro go for combat-overpower, than back to fury-bloodthirst so I get bonus damage right ?
I didnt try how it works do we cumulate double bonus from combat and Fury stance change if we switch under 10sec ?

Don’t fret, it’s going to pump. The basic gear they’re giving us on PTR doesn’t show the full potential. The execute rune is massive and even in PTR gear I’m hitting 6k executes and the rage gen in gladiator stance is insane.
Use those crap ring slot for a rune that gives us 3 percent rage per sec while out of combat and 5 percent rage per sec while in combat
that would make too much sense

Prot was not okay before the buff... and we're still is the worst tank out of all the tanks available in SOD taking utility and dps into consideration.
I dunno if you tried out the ptr before the buff, but warrior tanks were unable to hold threat against regular dps on Testwerk.
Your calculations and what you say they mean is also wrong. Defense is highly valued as with the buff from shieldslam it has higher proficiency than strenght. Meaning the total AP we get from 1 defense over 250 is higher than the AP we get from 1 strength.
Sry but this vid is just filled with misinformation.
In regards to DPS - Warriors are still severaly lacking compared to other classes.
DW fury is doing worse dps compared what a paladin tank, so no we are not good in any way :D
We need to complain even more. But do it on the Forums as they actually read the posts.

Still cannon fodder in PvP though. I honestly wish they’d just leave Warriors alone in PvE as they’ll always be the best main for PvE without any changes. All Phase 4 changes should have been PvP focused…

Furry warrior still sucks. (800 dps max, maybe with better gear 1,2k possible)

2 Hand warrior still best solution 1.1 now but with better gear you should be able to get 1.6k
And also, I belive they changed something in the rage gain. Even with the 5% Crit shout and +25% Rage gain it feels much less then in phase 3.

warrior is not looking good do you see ahlandoh play on the PTR literally one of the best warriors and he couldnt even make it work its sad the fact warrior literally got kicked to the curb when rouge was really good PVP n PVE in era make it make sense someone , i put in so many how hours just to get slapped in the face , when every class is literally a couple click and ur top DPS and warrior acc takes skill sad world bro SOD and the devs need to do better .. NO ONE WANTS TO PLAY DD
