- the phase 4 ptr came out and the warrior saw the most changes in season of discovery, and by that i mean they completely destroyed the class dps.

As a warrior main I was so excited to come back for P4 until I saw these changes yesterday. It feel like blizzard just doesn’t want you to play warrior
Runes that give +% pure damage are crutches thay have huge impact on damage.
It will be better if warriors become competitive without taking them into account.
Because of these runes warrior is the worst class in open world and pvp.
I hope these changes will fix it

What are you on about lol? Warrior is literally top DPS on every fight in ST, BY A MILE. It's not even close, no other class can compete against warrior dps. Warrior tanks are also the best tanks in the game by a fair margin too... Your class is still the best at BOTH roles it can play

Why? Warrior literally cant do anything else in the game efficiently. Out pvp'd, cant solo farm hardly at all, and now we cant dps???
i mained arms war through p3. They never even came close to balancing classes by p3, so I cut the cord. I leveled a hunter just b/c I thought it can't be that imbalanced... I need to test this for myslef. There's no way one class is this garbage and another is so easy. Turns out it literally is. I won almost every single pvp engage I got in on my hunter and was having to think of which buttons to press while I was winning.
If you are spec in enrage doesn’t that mean consume by rage will give you +25% damage too ? That would actually be a good buff compared to classic era warrior, for both fury and arms.

Maybe I am in the minority but I like Shield Slam tanking as a Prot Warrior so all I see is positive.
It would be a possitive for prot if other tank classes didnt exist
Luckily I play Alliance so I don't have to deal with the shaman nonsense. Also my raid is a chill group that rolls with me and a pally tank. Looking forward to dungeon grinding with Shockwave for all the aoe packs and having lots of rage generation from Flagellation.

they didnt normalize rage. youre a warrior in blues spamming sunder armor with no world buffs or gear or windfury. of course you feel rage starved. warriors pre bwl gear were never ever able to spam anything without world buffs, windfury totem, and rage buffs/consumes. even now in p3 if you try to do this you'll be rage starved.
I wish we got a meat hook for Paladins. The only thing I was disappointed in was no gap closing for us, we got some nerfs some buffs for sure. But our kit is just mainly exo and now judge prio, that is really all. Nothing in comparison to Mages atm spamming Frostfire Bolt for massive amounts of damage, (no hate to my mage homies). I do hope warriors get the help they deserve homie, much luv 🔒

Atleast there is a actual ptr and it will be tested, warrior will be just fine im sure.
and what they thinking with CBR??... I mean I hate the rune but was the dmg bonus not the only thing it gives to us? There is no other effect right?? so what is the rune doing now? I mean yeah it activates enrage to use raging blow... another dead run... buhuu.. thanks aggrand... quiting was never so easy
Maybe it will trigger the enrage talent if you are specced into it ?
They had to ruin it because the tier set would be weird with it
Dual weild got nerfed also removed DMG arms battle stance with overpower and rendering is the way to go now
Make sure to snapshot your rend now with rampage and crusader proc
I’m okay with having our damage nerfed, we’ll scale insanely well throughout the end game. What is ridiculous is that arms is the only dps play style with a full set of runes to compliment it. Glad stance and Fury both have slots with no runes fitting their play style. Do the devs play test this game at all?

that's brutal lol - warrios with p3 runes were decently set up to dual weild tank @ 60... Guess that's a bust now :( I got a warrior to 50 as my 5th alt and have barely played it since, CBR is just so trash. Got a hunter as my 6th alt and realised I wasted my time completely - I should've just been a hunter from phase fkn 1 lol!

Man I tried to focus only on my war, cleaned and farmed everything took me so much time ..and now will be a top tier D class without any sustain 😂 I hope ppl will take me for dungeon tanking at least please 😂
the sudden death run is diffrent in game... its for one use of execute in 10 sec on any target... its not possible to spam it...they fucked us hard... I think I will stay in cata

but shaman's got MASSIVE buffs to their damage. they will be the new tank. for horde. lol.

Lol the rend DMG is crap but pricing over with a 2 hander is good also sudden death procs to much look for another nerf on that

Quit early P3 after getting pre-bis for sunken-temple. whole guild quit and we never did the dungeon, which made me kinda sad. people weren't feeling the game. SoD at launch promised new places to explore and new quests to find, which all turned out to be runehunts that were so obscure you had to wait for a datamine for you to find the big ones. nothing new, just a few new old skills and numberchanges. the Quality of Life changes just don't keep people playing.
I ended my WoW subscription early P3. hoped to buy back into the game when big enough changes would come P4 to play warrior again, my main. Blizzard just told me not to. which is odd, given they want to please shareholders.

you do realize some people at blizzard sat down, made these changes, ate a meal, made more changes and then launched this to test as a release canidate? same people would have been far more productive if they just took a toilet break all day. or made some new PvE content and worldbuilding as promised on SoDs launch.

Well, it’s kind of the only things warriors are good at. Warriors suck at farming, questing, dueling, and group pvp without dedicated healers.
They in TOP 1 dps :) NOT 5 .
