I got the afe power high clearance cat back exhaust on my JKU it’s awesome sounds great and over 55 mph it doesn’t drone you out. I also buy their oil filters and intake filters great company
Awesome job resurrecting that baby doll! To answer your question. You definitely cannot neglect the tip so you need to pay attention to the tip or it’ll blow exhaust everywhere. I say leave it without the exhaust tip. That’s what I plan to do when I install my muffler delete. Keep after it!
I put the khaos pipe on mine. Same thing as the afe. But since mines a 2013, the resonator had nothing left. Really loud. Had to put a muffler on, in front of the axle.
Haha I ALWAYS wear seatbelts however they haven’t been sent off for repair since they are locked and the constant seat belt warning was driving me crazy so I buckled it behind while driving around my neighborhood. Thanks for watching 😁😁
@@adventuredex That's a fun project you have there. On the trails I don't wear my seat belt as we get in and out of the Jeep so often to assess new obstacles or move fallen trees etc. We do the same, buckle it behind us as that seat belt warning chime is annoying. Stay safe :)
Hey man hope your ok after that hit man glad to see you make vids love the modes you do gona get my factory order by Feb planning on adding the LED’s on the inside
Hi it looks good and it looks like it’s a quick install but I personally don’t like the sound sounds like a motorcycle but to each their own, other people like it that’s OK but you’re doing a good job with the jeep
Thanks Iris. It’s really not that loud which I like. Because this is only a 2.0, I really wanted a little rumble when accelerating 💪🏼 thanks for watching
Nice Addition. Simple and easy install. Unfortunately in my state muffler delete is illegal so I would have to install the original muffler before every inspection.
0:38 “2019 and up, JL...” remember the JL came out on the second half of 2018... so 2018 has both, JK’s (1st half) and JL’s (2nd half). Looking and sounding great!!
But aren't you still using the same muffler......all I saw you put on was a section of exhaust pipe. I placed an American thunder cat back exhaust from Flowmaster, it was the full length of the jeep, and the end goes up over the drive shaft and the tip is flush with the rear cross member of the frame. In fact you can barely see the tip. And the clearance is ridiculous, sound is very nice....not subtle at all, combined with the CAI K&N it sounds fantastic
Hey Dex, I watched you on Lockers and Lightbars, that was cool to see some candid footage from you rather than rehearsed UA-cam footage, It gave me a chance to get a feel of your true personality, and I was just as impressed as I am with your huge camera presence. So fortunate that I got to see that, and also got the full scoop on this JL which was really interesting. Thanks for the videos brother. P.S. Nice nod to Paul over at Jeep Beef wearing his apparel.
Comment below what Exhaust your running on your Jeep!! #jeepwave

Thanks for the suggestion. I am looking in swapping the intake too
"More smiles to the gallon". Good one Dex. Looks good. Sounds good.
Haha 😁😁 thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed

Exactly! Thanks for the recommendation! JeepWave 👋🏼
I recently installed the Flowmaster Outlaw and LOVE it. Deep throaty sound and the dual exhaust looks sick.

Nice! Thanks for sharing!
I’m not feeling it... I don’t care about the looks or the sound. Just personal preference...
Just sound like a cut pipe...if u take off the muffler, sounds the same......mine is the same...
Hey Dex great work brother does it fit a 2018 Jk? Thanks man!
🔥
This one won't fit a jk 2012?
Will this work on my 2021 Willy
That is a axel back exhaust
Nice work! How did you remove the cargo cubby?
It’s glued down. It’s a pain to remove!
No seat belt law where you live? Just razzing you LOL

Yah exactly! Thanks for the support! Glad your enjoying 👌🏼
Great video, but to me, it doesn't sound great. Sound like a lawnmower. Again, Great video and keep them coming!
🤣🤣🤣🤣 thanks for the support 🙌🏼🙌🏼🤣
Hey man hope your ok after that hit man glad to see you make vids love the modes you do gona get my factory order by Feb planning on adding the LED’s on the inside
Hi dex. What I saw that after removing the factory’s exhaust.. you have save a great space underneath the cargo room… It is amazing.
Hi it looks good and it looks like it’s a quick install but I personally don’t like the sound sounds like a motorcycle but to each their own, other people like it that’s OK but you’re doing a good job with the jeep

@@adventuredex You’re welcome Keep up the good job
🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
What's the weight difference?
Big difference atleast 30 lbs
Ls swap it! That would be the best jeep video ever
Ads a GREAT throaty sound and it is a super easy mod to install. Took me about 40 min with 2 tools. Love it bro.
BTW - NO TIP 👍🏼
Totally agreed! Love it and yah no tip! 😎
I’m running the Borla touring 2.0. Also a high tuck. About 5 times your price. Dang it! Lol. Sounds great bro
Damn! 5 times the price 😵 thanks! I love the sound
Nice Addition. Simple and easy install. Unfortunately in my state muffler delete is illegal so I would have to install the original muffler before every inspection.
Thanks! Wow that’s interesting point! Jeepwave
Watched the whole video and liked. Did you just leave the trunk part out? You didn’t Weld that shut?
Edit: no tip.
Thanks!! What do you mean? The space were I popped out of? That’s where the plastic tub goes 😅
Nice!
What's next on the project 👍
Thanks! Taillights, lift, tires, wrap, etc 😎
@@adventuredex ahhh wow, looking forward to watching :)
🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
Looking cool, Dex it's going to have awesome sound, JL is looking better every time. Great job Dex. Keep on Jeeping
Thanks Victor! I love the way it sounds! Subtle but aggressive 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
Sounds great Dex, probably couldn't get away with some like that in MA :(
Damn! That’s a bummer!

Correct! Thanks for watching 🙌🏼
Yup, That's me! My JKU got totaled by an A-hole blowing a red light. I now have the 2018 JLU.
I’ve been looking for a new exhaust for a while. Definitely going to give this a closer look. Thanks as always Dex.
Most definitely Paul! Thanks for the support 🙌🏼
I loved it. It opens up enough space for my fresh water tank and pressure pomp.
Hey! Great idea!!! Thanks for watching

Thanks for sharing! The muffler is gone but this is only an axle back so doesn’t replace the cat back, etc. thanks for watching 👌🏼
@@adventuredex so legally you can drive with no muffler on the road???
Yah!
Them PI cops will soon start looking for you Dex lol
If you see me ducking, don’t want my boss to see so I ducking!!! 🤣🤣🤣
Is there a variation for a 12/13 plate wrangler?
Yah! Check out the aFE website 👌🏼
awesome videos ! is your JL the sport version ?
Yah!!
What about JK version ? No heat shield ?
Jk version is available. Heat shield was just taken off because of the accident. Will be put back on shortly

Thanks Johnny!! I appreciate the support! Maybe I need to make the videos from personable! Any suggestions
@@adventuredex dude, I wouldn't change a thing. Your videos are very entertaining, and keeps bringing me back for more.
Thanks! For some reason the videos are not reaching audience like they used to! Not sure what I need to improve 🤷🏻♂️
@@adventuredex it was probably the winter months. JEEP weather is back, and I see more and more on the roads now than the past few months.
Hopefully so! I hope it’s not the algorithm 😵
Great vid...without the exhaust tip.
Thanks Marc! 🙌🏼
Why aren't you rust proofing that piece? Looks great
What piece????
@@adventuredex the pipe, wouldn’t it rust after a while? I think you’re right, you don’t need the tip on it either.
No the pipe is stainless steel it won’t rust 💪🏼 the tip is only for aesthetic purposes, not really necessary. Thanks for watching!
Flow master super 10..
Nice!! 💪🏼💪🏼
I Like!, yeah,No Tip,... Nice 👍
Thanks mark! 💪🏼
