No, you are right. Decarabian loved his people genuinely. Even in his last moments he still believed that to be the case. This was mentioned in Venti Character Story.
The lore: spans over hundreds of years, multiple great conflicts, overlaps thru different years in different ways, gods and genocide.
Me: beating davalin with Baal. Using morax to defeat the harbingers, and using la Signora to defeat azhdaha.
This didn't age well...

On a side note, I just love how in mondstadt a revolution happens and venti decides to basically play Minecraft while at the same time in Liyue Morax just keeps on kicking every god's ass

Side note, i think Qince is Azhdaha, and this "version" of the story is a more of a 3rd rate mythical view filled with embellishments and metaphors. Just like Decarabian, over the years their memories would be demonized within the collective consciousness of the people (with Azhdaha being intentional, thanks a lot Mountain Shaper) because it's simpler to have a black and white dichotomy in a narrative.
I think qince is not azhdaha, because qince is already dead while azhdaha still alive and been sealed in deep ground

And I know this is off topic, and it may have already been talked about, however it keeps picking my mind and I gotta mention it
So I've been taking my time with Inazuma and when I talked with Katherine from inazuma she said that she knows that we can teleport and that the way points are used for teleportation.
But, in the description of the waypoints it says that no one except the traveler know that it's for tp (there might be others but Kathering is kinda sussy cuz she's in the adventures guild and ect).
Well basically what interests me is the fact that she has some knowledge about ancient civilization, and how did she aquire this info?
Idk I prob missed the answer somewhere, but idk idk
I think it's at least implied that Katherine is an android of sorts with the keyhole at the back of her neck and how she sometimes say "reboot" and "error"
And since the adventurer's guild's HQ is in snezhnaya, whoever made Katherine must've known what the teleport waypoints are for
Either that or it's just a joke not meant to be taken seriously

Also I wonder if when we get to snezhnaya there's just gonna be a place full of dead Katherines

I have a lore idea: Why did 7 seats open up in Celestia? Did 7 die or what caused that?
Our best guess is that 7 seats opened because celestia said "yo I need a mod team for these humans" and instead of holding mod applications they just said "duke it out"
