Annie, I have been following you for years, with some health interruptions, but every time I watch you I enjoy it and love all your gorgeous personality and incredible knowledge. ! Thank you!!!
I ve been sewing totebags ,self taught from UA-cam since covid hit us. I only now by luck stumbled across your channel. Wow is all I can say! What a fantastic detailed tutor you are. Warmest greetings from Cape Town, South Africa.
Annie love your videos . I prefer to use the #37D foot with my Bernina 770QE . I find if I use the 97D I have to change to the zipper foot for the zippers. Love my Bernina machines.
I really wish you did a video on Everything in its Place Bag 2.0 cutting out all the pieces. Even though I have watched all the video add-on’s, and even the video I purchased from Craftsy 1.0 version, there is nothing on cutting out the pieces. I don’t think I will purchase another one of these patterns... it's just too hard to figure out.
Disappointed in your description of putting in a recessed zipper. Still don’t understand. The video was too far away to clearly see what you were trying to explain. I have no interest in buying a switchback pattern just to see a video on how to do a recessed zipper. Since you already filmed that on the switchback why can’t you just release that portion of that video as a separate video on how to make a recessed zipper. Also in this video it seemed like you we going as fast as you could go. SLOW DOWN. I have to say that am discouraged from buying any of your tote bag patterns because you don’t think recessed zippers are important.
I have made the bag with the recessed zipper, not the switchback, i found the instructions in the pattern very easy to follow. Even without a video. Annie’s patterns are easy to follow and her drawings and instructions are clear.
Perhaps watching it a few times may help. If the video were any closer, you would not be able to see the entire piece. Here is a link to the free MiPad Case videos which use the same recessed zipper and is a full tutorial and shows more detail - www.byannie.com/mipad_case_videos
This method is also used in MJ’s Messenger bag which is very similar to one featured in a Craftsy class as the Multitasking Messenger Bag so if you have access to Craftsy you could watch it there. But I echo the previous comment that pattern instructions are very clear to follow.

Love the idea of adding binding first! Always learn new ideas. Hate when I miss the live run. But so happy I can catch it later :)
I really enjoy your tips and tricks videos! I always learn something new, even though I've been sewing since the 1960's! Thank you Annie and staff!
Great thought to want to update older patterns but I prefer that you make new fun patterns in between your fun and family time. ❤
I use old encyclopedias around my machine to make a free flat sewing surface.
Great video. I love making your bags and the videos are so helpful.
Great video and great tips
Thank you.

Love your foot demonstration.

What about people’s who don’t have a Bernina! Can you talk about other sewing machines?
Thank you.
Your Hidden zipper demo was very confusing! Maybe the pattern will help explain this better
