You have everything! My sewing room is in my bedroom. I have one wall, so 12x4 foot. I purchased two big bookcases on each side of my desk and night stand. Things are stored in decorative boxes and fabric organizers so it looks nice. I also store a lot of stuff in my clothes closet, under my bed, and storage shed. I would love to have a 12x12 sewing room. Maybe someday.
WOW! Thanks so much, Annie, for giving us a tour of your space. I have watched SOOOO many sewing room tours online and yours, by far, is the best one I've seen! You have so many great ideas. I love your room! Thanks again for sharing!!
Annie I loved your sewing room!! WOW!! Everything is so accessible and well organized! I'm going to use a few of your storage ideas. Love your products and supplies! As a grandmother myself, I'm very touched how you make working/play space for your grandson. Very sweet! I"m looking forward to the next videos!
I totally enjoyed getting to “visit” your sewing room!! Thank you for sharing great ideas for storage within our work spaces. Best to you in this new year, Annie!!
So lovely seeing where you work and how utilise your space all bags are so helpful to keep all things plus making the room look bright and cheery. Thank you Jan S Wales Uk
you are absolutely correct that projects have to be out. I try to keep them in project bins or baskets with the pattern, fabric, zippers, thread and bobbin and of course soft and stable. That makes it easier to remain focused and organized and ready to cut and sew. it is frustrating to get ready to sew and I don’t have the correct color of thread or zipper.
How fun, I loved your library like tables around your perimeter. I sew in a 10x 11 foot with a 6x 7 closet.we are redoing my sewing space completely,I’ve been quilting for 30 yrs and m getting into garment sewing too, ive lucky to have had so many great ideas watching others thru the years that I’ve learned from. I really like the way you store your patterns in the filing cabinet style. Loved your room thank you for sharing. Happy sewing! Linda Gillespie
What a great space for your sewing. I learned several tips for organization. Looking for more this season. I have several patterns that i am anxious to get started on. Finished the catch all caddy 2.0. Love it
Great sewing space, indeed. Before we retired and moved to the city, I converted a 2 car garage into my sewing space. I bought out a drapery shop that was closing down so I had a cutting table 5 feet by 12 feet with a clamp at the bottom. It was such a well used space with storage underneath. I sure do miss it. Now a sew in a space bedroom.
It was wonderful getting a tour of your sewing room! The elfa storage area is great. I have them, but they’re not on casters, so that is my BiG takeaway! Thanks so much!
My sewing room is 12 '4" square. I'm really cramped but seem to be able to sew ok. But not much breathing space. I would love to have your square footage. I have to do all my cutting on my dining room table. Whatever works!!!🌹 Still my happy place. ☺
Love love love your videos! I really enjoyed seeing "where the fun sewing happens!!" Love the organization ideas and I even spied some neat ByAnnie bags and organizers used in a way I wouldn't have thought of! Pack It In for storing project pieces? Awesome! Pencil case for Lola for sewing tools? Love that! Thank you for sharing our space with us! You brightened a dull winter day for me! (I go ga-ga for ALL the colorful fabrics everywhere: a feast for my eyes!)
What a beautiful sewing studio. I love how you use the patterns you design in your studio. I would love to have the metal yardstick and grove you have to cut lengths of fabric and Soft & Stable. I love how you have organized and labeled everything. Will you share what you put in each Catch All Cady by the machines at the warehouse and how they are organized?
Hi Annie - love your sewing room! Wish I had that kind of space! Would you please tell me the name of the pattern for the large bin over your right shoulder, the one with the light green handle? What size is the bin? Thank you!
loved this video and seeing your ideas for storing and organizing. I learned some new ideas. I am organizing by getting rid of fabric I haven't used for more than 2 years. I donate these. Then I like to look at my ufo's to find out what I have to attempt to finish. Thanks. I can leave a comment, but do not and will not tag a friend as I don't want them to feel pressured. I just show off your patterns that I've sewed and when I am asked about it, I tell them about ByAnnie.
What type of batting did you put on your ironing board? I need to recover mine and am considering going with a wool batting. Your thoughts is appreciated. Love your sewing room.
I do love your products and videos but you seem to assume everyone uses Facebook. Well I won't. I don't like how they have miss used their company. Thank you.
