Can't take you serious when you dont have a single benchmade knife on this list.... any reasons why?
Are you german
Youre accent Sounds german
Survival Gear 0
@@deandrepenn9686 because benchmade is over priced and are junk, i own spyderco, fuck benchmade
who me could also be
Sometimes the accent of some Germans are so bad that it’s comparable to that or even worse like genuinely mispronouncing vocals
a good survival knife is never a folding knife
and a folding knife is better than no knife,, i take my paramilitary 2 every where
@who me lol
I carry a Swiss champ, Benchmade auto triage and Gerber clutch on me daily. When I go out in the bush, I carry additional knives and tools.
True
That's like saying a semi auto pistol isn't reliable. No longer the case.
Horrible choices
Came expecting some form of a review, left after it was an infomercial from various companies.
Schrade? really?
Click bait
This channel never fails to disappoint. How did they get 175k in subs?
This was dumb.
This is a joke right? About half of these knives are total junk.
Terrible voice
Where is the one from thumbnail!!!! I need it.
no you dont idiot, these are literally amazon affiliate linked BS items lol. do research on an actual survival knife from a reputable company, not because some hindu on youtube showed you
Dude please please please stop covering Schrade. Their knives are horrible and the one good knife they made they screwed the designer over and changed it without permission ruining the knife.
It was a good Schrade commercial. I hope they paid you lots!
Why on this canal is it the item showed in the thumbnail, is never in the video?
Click bait! Thumbs down! The knife in the thumbnail photo is not mentioned.
Nor can I tell easily what that knife is from that photo. Edit: it’s a pohl force Romeo two
Discontinued.
But Glock 78 and 81 and Cold Steel GI Tanto are made.
All the knives in this video SUCK!
It's not so much as the knives as it is in how to use them. A kitchen knife is just as effective if you know how to use it.
Ya baton some wood with a kitchen knife and tell me how that goes 👍👍
Cool video. Now can you make one using real survival or combat knives. No one esee benchmade zero tolerance tops or blade brothers on the list. And the ones that where are crap commercial.
there are a lot of good budget friendly knives here.....however i wouldnt call it an ultimate list.....especially with folders and schrade knives in the list!
Where's the knife in the thumbnail
Same question, why the f wouldn't they put it in?
A folding knife for survival ruined the rest of the video, at least he had a couple of K-bars(not the bk7 or bk9 i know).
It lacks Falkniven, ESEE, Bark River, Benchmade........
No way it has the best knives for survival, not even close.
This video is just a schrade payed content.
I would personally include a karambit in there as well. It excels on a lot of fronts especially combat even underwater. I think wood cutting would be the only exception.
@@hanzohattori9576 Karambit is not a brand my brother.
But it's a really good knife style for survival thoug.
@@bernardodeoliveira7701 i knw it's not a brand, i was just pointing out that the dude didn't include any karambit type knives in his video. So he is lacking in companies as well as types of survival knives. And folding knives are a no go for me. Especially folding karambits. Those just straight up trigger me.
@@hanzohattori9576 Folding Karambit?
🤣🤣🤣
@@bernardodeoliveira7701 yeah, it's only single edged too. You've lost a lot of the weapon's effectiveness. And i wouldn't want that thing anywhere in my pocket in case it malfunctions.
Which is the knife in thumbnail I came here looking for it
Schrade is a very low quality product.
I consider the KA-BAR military fighting/utility knife to be one of the best. They're still being made and are still as great as ever. Did you know the name KA-BAR came from a man who killed a Bear with his KA-BAR knife? Yup , true story. ua-cam.com/video/PnjlE-wP4dY/v-deo.html
I'd never beat on a knife or hammer it in a tree. Get an axe, fisker makes a sweet long folding saw as well. Use the right tool for the job
No serrated blades ? They sure are handy for cutting through vines and bush and thick ropes. Splitting wood with a knife by hitting it with a thick branch is just a stupid thing to do in a survival scenario.
Note to self. Step up fitness and diet so I never have to be cut out of my car after parking. Also a good basic survival knife? Just get a Mora and call it a day or a Gerber Strong Arm if you want to get fancy.
The new "Schrade" is a disgrace to the name.
Is the knife in the thumbnail not in the video lol wtf
i won't own a skeletonized handle knife, i own esee
Ok, thanks for the news flash.
@@johncall293 it's not a news flash, it's a matter of preference, I prefer solid tang knives because of possible breakage
The most random list ever compiled. ??? So confused.
All these knives are handsomely made for raw purposes. And they make a He a Man!
3" blades FAIL, Velco SUPERFAIL
You obviously never tried any of these knives, All you do is try to make is affiliate money.
You can't even think about talking tactical knives without mentioning SOG ,,,,
Which model is the knife displayed in thumbnail?
The blade used for the cover of your video didnt make it in the video ? What make and model is it?
Don't let the rest of this video distract you from that guy who hammered a knife into a tree so he could climb it to grab a leaf.
What’s the knife on the thumbnail?
I do not see the knife in the picture as one of the knives discussed.
No bear grills survival knife?
what is the knife on the thumbnail?
Damascus juga sama kayak raden
and also Ontario mk3
I particularly liked the part at 3:36 when the guy almost ruins his knife to climb 50 cm higher, risk collapsing his knife, risks breaking his knife and risks serious injury by maybe cutting his right leg. Oh, and if the guy said, why don't I use the knife as a ladder rung and step on its side, instead of its back (which is counterintuitive), this would be more comfortable. Oh, the knife would be in pieces, and so would his right sheen as well. The true solution would be tie a lanyard on the heavy branch on the ground, and get the stuff from the tree by throwing it with the line. Normal people would do that. Why climb the tree when you can use an extension of your hands????
black knives matter
Who is the musician?
All you do is compile ads?
Anyone know what the thumbnail pic knife is? Looked cool wanted to research and see if it’s worth a crap.
0:27 we fut together 🤣🤣😂😂 oh man i am dead
:)) I'm not native but trying to improve my English every day. I hope that in the future I will be much better. Thanks for watching!
@@survivalgearofficial i know even i am not native
i the best for military are Ka-Bar BK11 and Schrade SCHF 31 and SCHF 56LM as the top most in these comparison
Benchmade 375 ADAMAS
Clickbait.
Except for the lock knives if the rest came in a ten inch blade i would buy them only there too short for me and my liking...
Sure in the budget class these might be. What do our real life warriors carry and why? If you were to trust your life to a blade in a last resort situation, what would you carry?
If a knife is cryogenically treated, isn’t it not heat treated but “cold treated”
instead?
It is brought to critical heat temperatures then cooled
and it has nothing to do, with the cutting performance of the knife but with the steel's heat treatment performance. Cutting performance comes from edge sharpness, edge and blade geometry, blade thickness and carbides of the steel mainly.
Those are some nice looking knives and I would love to have some if I didn't already have a collection of knives of various sizes and types.
The Cold Steel knife is my favourite
@@survivalgearofficial Yes the Recon 1 is one of the best EDC knives especially with the DLC coating and G10 scales , I also like Vo,d Steel's Voyager knives Large and Ex Large.
where oh where is the knife pictured in thumbnail
buck nighthawk is good too
I want one knife
ราคาเท่าสั่งซื้อได้ป่าว
Glass filled nylon means nothing
I was recently attacked .... drew both stab daggers (wolverine style) .... no one wanted any part of me
a conceal carry in my waist not needed
Compass 8/4 bowie w real stag scales and a benchmade afo mk 1..never fail
Eickhorn with the km 4000 and km 2000
What is the knife shown before the video starts?
NO! 2 Stab daggers and a reverse blade is all you need
Not very informative on all knives.. just a couple...
Is that a dive knife in the thumbnail?
I would have chosen the Gerber 06 auto, over the empower. Used by the military for years.
Kizlyar - 1***
I only carry Brend Knives. I carry a Brend Tanto recurve folder. For the heavy stuff I carry his chute knife. Next will be the Bushhog!
Brend has a few great blades in their collection. Thanks for watching!
4 or then what is it the website
I’m thinking about getting a tactical knife on amazon that looks nice and very reliable, what do you guys suggest?
Ontario sp1 very good knife and also doesn't break the bank
1) i suggest you order them on bladehq or knifecenter if youre in America, and knivesandtools.com if you live in any other country, so you are sure you are not buying a fake as for the knife i suggest a kizer vanguard sovereign
made in China ;/
So who else killed somebody
Apart from you?
Hi. Nice video bro)
Mora Garberg :)
You should make some of these knife cases shoulder host hers I know I would buy specially that lass knife if that was a shoulder holster I would buy it
You bore me .
Dont put your knives in the tree 😡😡😡😡😡
Nah man I just cant bring myself to trust or like folders. Im a bit too rough.
Cold Steel Recon 1 , AD 10 , and SR1 are very strong very solid folders. I weight 175 lbs and hung from my recon that was in a 2x4 and it still works like new. The other 2 are actually stronger than it.
Please stick to the real knives-fixed blades. Leave the little folders to the weekend warriors and boy scouts. When your life depends on it, don't trust a knife that folds in half. Weak.
Lol no.
4:06 full of blood
I’ll take my Benchmade infidel dagger in D2 great sheath for mounting in many areas good grip great tip and razor sharp just a beauty for a fighting knife in can slash good and stab with the best of them.
What would you recommend for camping, field dressing game and fishing? I'm on a fixed income and can't just pay for extreme quality but I would appreciate your opinion for a fixed blade 4-5". Thanks so much!
May I recommend: Schrade SCHF37 Frontier 7" full tang knife.
/
You really like this knife :)) I see that you recommend it everywhere. Thanks for watching!
@@survivalgearofficial mr wick do have a nice party...
I recommend not buying Schrade. The had one excellent knife. The Jess X. They changed the grind ruined the design and all without the designers permission nearly costing him his career. Just look up Chris Tanner of Prepared Mind 101. You'll see what I mean.
I was just about to "not recommend" your channel until I finally saw some Cold Steel at 3.00. I'm constantly amazed at the crap you guys advertise. Do you advertise because you're getting paid or because you like the knives? I don't do QVC.
Does anyone else notice how with 99% of these knives they're running their fingers along the blades? 😳 You never see that with a Cold Steel knife. They'd be in the ICU. Most of the knives on this channel are slightly sharp clubs with a point.
Can't take you serious when you dont have a single benchmade knife on this list.... any reasons why?
There are so many great knives on the market and it's not easy to cover all good ones in 1 video.....
@@survivalgearofficial I agree. Non the less it's still one of the Top brands. So it should be on a list called Top 10 Ultimate Military Tactical Knives.
Plus let's not forget. Cold steel has been around forever. Not much has changed there. But of course they should make list. Just like a benchmade.
Never mind a benchmade having a list of military or tactical knives and no Al Mar knives on the list. The Sere should be on here.
Because Benchmade is not the be-all end-all of knives.
There are literally hundreds of knifemakers out there. I own 3 fixed blade benchmades. Saddle Mountain Skinner, Infidel and a Nimravus. All excellent knives. But non of them any better say than a Bark River.
Knives are subjective to use and user, and your best ten list won't be identical to anothers.
Benchmade, ok, but meh.
@@deandrepenn9686, what if OTHER knives surpass YOUR opinion of some "best" knife and your preferred brand isn't as good as some others?
Just because YOU think it deserves to be on HIS list and just because YOUR preference doesn't necessarily make the grade just because the company has been around for X number of years doesn't always make it so.
Now why don't YOU create your OWN channel/page and create your OWN list?
That way your Fan Boi Brand will be assured of making it, okie dokie?
Im not sure if any of these would fit any survival scenario. #2 has the best shot but even then, any survival scenario?
