Is there a particular name for this type of foot movement being new to judo is there a good resource for foot drill. Thank you.

In Judo the names describe the mechanics of the throw. Soto means Outer, as in tori attacks the outside of ukes leg. So Osoto-gari, Osoto-otoshi, Osoto-makikomi have all of this in common.

The foot begins like osoto gari but then with a makikomi action. You can also practice it with uchikomi by committing to the hip to hip contact.
