Me too. I just ordered a FX Pantera but I'm worried about the shot count and that I made a mistake. I keep hearing that the shot count is low on the Panthera. When looked at the FX spec sheet it said that with a 600 mm barrel, 22 caliber, using hybrid slugs at 900 FPS you get 80 shots. Are they telling the truth? I'm going to be shooting 32 grain, 34 grain and 36 grain Javelin Patriots. What would the shot count be with a 34 grain as an example? Mike

It would be a dream for me! Can I have a question? Why do you think every slug I've seen so far has a hollow /expanding head/? A domed head would provide much better air resistance for target shooting! Better BC value. I'm not talking about hunting, because I don't like killing animals or anything, i am only interested in long range target shooting! Do you know of any slug that weighs around 15-16gn and domed head not a hollow point design? The Hollow point design slug is more for the hunters, but for me, better BC value, more streamlined design more important!

Hi Peter, Again very good and informative video. Thank you for your time and effort! Please note that the Panthera's standard rail is not too stiff and placing the bipod so far forward often causes problems with poi shift. Also installing a bubble level should always be done on the scope to rule out that scope and barrel are not in line with the rail. After your scope review it might be an idea to make a video regarding windage zeroing by scope alignment and barrel indexing. Scope cant and gun cant are often misunderstood and there is no other video that covers all these aspects for correctly leveling a scope and aligning it to the barrel.

Yeah honestly the first time I saw the panthera I fell in love with it the dynamic doesn’t really do it for me mainly because of the bottle being used as the buttstock the plastic stock thing I’m not really into that just seems cheap to me but the Panthera has that really nice adjustable buttstock and it just looks so cool and it’s very functional I also went with the 600 mm because of the length of that 700 with moderator is just waaaaay too long so the 600 seems like the sweet spot for this rifle in my eyes I’m just hoping that I’m not missing out on some accuracy gain only the 700 can provide but I have a feeling it’ll be just fine
Agree with you completely! I dont really think that we are missing out on accuracy, but we do compromise some power when getting the 600 and not the 700 mm. But in my case I will use the 16 gr Zan and not the 20 gr, so not really a sacrifice 🙂
I Cannot wait to shoot this thing! I honestly consider this rifle a serious player in the airgun world and that it’s probably not going away anytime soon. Pretty much on that level with the impact. I really do think the panthera isn’t gonna be like a “one off” type gun like the maverick. It’s gonna be around awhile, with a ton of support and after market goodies. 😊
According to FX the Panthera 600 & 700 model is producing identical power/fps which would make no negligible difference, personally the 600 is the happy-medium choice with the larger plenum as in the 700. The 500 is a compact hunter, the 600 precision hunter, the 700 precision bench rest model.
Fx Panthera 600 .177 cal 50+FPE shooting 1070 fps with 20gr ZAN at apprx 180 bar HST with std hammer maxed 4 ): 50fpe .177 killer and accurate aswell. Slow reg... Loves H&N 20 gr + very soft ZAN's 20 gr moa @ 100 m in good conditions outside . MD 45 suppressor .17 cal My gun is a shooter!! high bc
Have a look at the review and viewer comments from Sub12 airgunners. Not so rosy. They need to improve production consistency to match the excellent design effort.
I have just published a video where I replace the AMP reg with the Huma reg. This will solve a big part of the problem. Check it out here on my channel :-)

Panthera doesn't have Valve Adjuster 😢...I want a gun with valve adjuster and dual regulator of impact m3 + new valve system of Panthera....that would be nice gun😅

The side cocking lever is adjustable so that way it won’t lock in place like that. There are videos out there on how to adjust.

The rear bottle looks very cumbersome. More so the small gap between the bottle and grip. Maybe not as bad bench shooting or fixed position.
I like the front bottle you showed. Can you run the front bottle only?
I have heard you mention that you're limited to 177 cal. Do you have an energy limit, or can you run as heavy of projectile as you please?
Yes we are limited to 177 and no limits in power levels 😜
