    "Do what you love, and love what you do" Period.
    If you love sleeping all the day, it's not a waste of time.

    I'm happy this life is short. I would never want to live here forever. This life has so many limitations and too many sufferings, and evil. I want to be in place where there is peace, love, no suffering, which I believe is heaven. I just hope to do good on this planet and not worry too much about this life, because we are not in it for very long.

      There is no good without bad, just as there is no bad without good. These are human qualities, therefore it's not possible to be human in heaven, and therefore we cannot go to heaven. It could be possible for an alteration of us to live in heaven without suffering, but that alteration wouldn't be you or me anymore; it's just the alteration.

      There is a reason woman seek men with money; it's because we gotta have children to take care of us when we get old BEFORE we hit 40. We don't have time to waste both working AND taking care of children by ourselves, and it would be a miserable life to have to decide between the two. It's a natural thing. Same way men look for young attractive women, women look for strong rich men.

    well, ı'll be honest. I enjoy spending my time on TV or my phone than trying to have multiple skills. I just do what ı want to. of course ı do my responsibilities. But in exception of those responsibilities(school,work,chores..) ı do what makes me happy. And things that make me happy dont have to be very important. instead they are basic and that's what ı love. you dont have to be like elon musk or bill gates if you dont like books or inventing somethings. As an example, ı prefer taking a walk with my dog to reading and working on science or trying to play piano. Just do what makes you enjoy your life. That's it.

      You're young, so it's totally fine enjoying your life like you're doing now. But just be aware that as you graduate college, you'll face new challenges and responsabilities. Some people regret not studying harder or concentrating more on their goals when they were young at this point when you realize you gotta compete with others to find a good job that you like. Money suddenly becomes super important and your priorities will probably change.

    I’m almost 40 I’ve always looked at life as some people never have made it as far as I have come today. Some people die at younger ages so enjoy each day because it will eventually end sooner or later. After that dispatched to the next dimension and that will hopefully be interesting to experience. Who knows maybe I’ll just come back again the person I am now and continue onto a new path.. no one actually knows what happens after death but I hope it’s good:)

    • @joanl.7543
      @joanl.7543 6 років тому +15

      I also don't think Musk or Jobs should be held up as the ultimate exemplars in all of these sorts of videos. There might be many reasons to admire someone. People may deny that success is all about money, but when they are always holding up Jobs, Gates, Buffet or Musk they kind of imply that it is.

    • @the.wanderers.shadow
      @the.wanderers.shadow 6 років тому +13

      I don't comment often, but I wanna give my two cents here. Jobs and Musk have accomplished great things. We don't look up to them because of their money; we look up to them because of their achievements - achievements that gave them their money. Jobs, along with Wozniak, literally created the idea of a personal computer, changing the world immensely. Musk has had great success building an electric car company and succeeded in launching rockets, even a car, into space (things you gotta be smart and have good time management to do). So, I wouldn't say success is all about money, rather that success gives you money (thereby creating the assumption that success is about money).

    I'd rather be poor but love every second of my life than be rich and miserable
    Do you agree ?
    If someone loves to watch movies or play video games it's a waste of time??

    • @bertshrock6104
      @bertshrock6104 6 років тому +14

      I have had those thoughts too. If I enjoy playing video games, why quit playing them. Here's my answer. Life isn't about you, It's about others. If I spend my whole life playing video games, when I'm 70 and I look back on my life, will I be content with how I've spent my time? No, I will not be. Life consists of relationships. Someone who lives a life focused on themselves will only be miserable when they are older. Their kids don't care about them, because they didn't care about their kids, and a lot of those people have little money to be able to take care of themselves, since they already spent it on themselves. They have contributed nothing to society, besides maybe paying their taxes, and they have no accomplishments besides video game achievements. They only lived for the present; they did little work to acchieve their dreams, and they are left looking back at it all only with regret. They are happy at one point with instant pleasure, but the long term only brings pain and disappointment. This is my thoughts on the subject, and I am currently quitting video games. God bless.

I feel like my life has got really boring and I don't see the point in trying and doing everything that you have to because you'll still die anyways and you'll never remember it... • @joanl.7543
      @joanl.7543 6 років тому +1

      From what I can tell, the education figure he arrives at seems to be 180 days times 16 years. While it doesn't count vacations or days off, you seem (from where I am) to be right that he doesn't take into account free hours on school days. He may assume it is all spent in study? This may be fair for those who attend very rigorous schools, but not for most. And sleep does seem to be double counted at any rate. If you counted only hours spent in school itself, the number is more like 2 years (15-18K hours). Counting transport time, typical Americans may be looking at 2-3 years.
